Stunning hotel located on the same site as an old Buddhist temple. Very tasteful renovation and amazing staff. The hostess speaks fluent French.

Lovely Japanese-style room in a minshuku of two guest rooms. The host was welcoming and kind and even accommodated fresh and delicious vegetarian meals. A memorable stay in a beautiful location.

Quaint rural setting, very quiet and peaceful. We drove past the house and a staff member immediately came out to show us where to park and helped with our bags.

Excellent dinner and breakfast and very fair prices for the quality of the place.

The highlight of my 4 week trip to Japan. The host is super friendly and has a lot of ideas what to do in that area. I came here just to relax and destress a bit and that 100% was successful.

A quiet, magical hidden gem with breathtaking views. The walk around the lake is incredibly serene, peaceful, and aesthetically beautiful.

This was an amazing Ryokan to stay in after our visit to the nearby villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama.
It is a small place with only a few rooms but the facilities were great.

We really loved it here! Everything was ver clean, including the bathhouse, and very comfortable. Especially loved the beds! They were very comfortable.

This is a Gasso minsu. We came here for the experience and it was great. The night was cold and the host offer us water bags which kept us warm through the night.

The couple who run this quaint inn are so sweet. It’s simply amazing to see the wife scurrying around even tho she had leg injuries. Both were kind and sweet.

Staff all have been excellent, I stayed 2 nights, when I was leaving the weather warmed up and roads became slippery, staff offered free car driving me to the bus stop, ver sweet!

This hotel is a brilliant place to stay. There's a great view of the town blowers, with a couple of gassho-zukuri houses in view. When I went outside into the onsen it was snowing.

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights after spending couple of hours in Shirakawa-go on the way here. It is located within a short drive from Shirakawa-Go and Gokayama Gassho village.

The service was incredible, breakfast delicious, amazing place to live the japanese tradition. Rooms huge and with everything to make our stay amazing.

Newly renovated guest house which is so spacious and has everything you could need (shared kitchen, washing machine and bathrooms).

The guesthouse was as to be expected, simple, rustic and typical for a Japanese-style place. But the owner made most of this review positive. She was kind, attentive but not overbearing.

Any tourist looking to stay in the Japanese alps close to Kanazawa should look here. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The scenery is fantastic.
