This is not a full service hotel but closer to a service apartment. Tourists with longer stay in the city will find it very fitting.

Great location – relatively close to Kenrokuen Park (about 1 km, a 15-minute walk uphill) and 1.5 km (around 20 minutes on foot) to the samurai district.

Great public spa. Five resources including sauna. Convenience store in lobby very … convenient. Super breakfast w both western and Japanese options in abundance. Staff very helpful.

Staying at this small guesthouse in Kanazawa was truly the highlight of my trip, feeling more like a home than a traditional stay, thanks to the incredible atmosphere and staff.

Although we only stayed for one night, it was sure enough to experience the hospitality of Nina-san at Pongyi.

HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My early 2026 Japan Trip!

My wife booked our accommodation here for 2 nights last December 3-4, 2025. The price was very good. Both the staff and the amenities were excellent, and the hotel itself felt luxurious.

The hotel’s location is very convenient, with a nearby mall and easy access to tourist attractions. The rooms are centrally heated, so it can get a bit warm at times.

Stayed from 21/12–25/12/2025 as a family of three. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were cheerful and friendly.

Good quality water filled with minerals (see pictures). Not oily but clean mineral taste. There are 2 pools inside plus a cold pool and a sauna, and 2 pools outside.

Water was great, a light green (like green tea) color and hot in the outdoor section. Outdoor section definitely worth it, screened in (to protect from bugs/birds I imagine?

The hair oils they offer for guests is the best thing ever.

It was easy to catch the bus here from the station, comfortable room with enough space. Very clean.

We loved staying with Chiyo-San!
We had our luggage sent and when we arrived it was already brought to our room.

Stayed at this ryokan for one night for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it was a very romantic experience.
The garden was beautiful and visible from our second-floor room.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful ryokan style hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a peaceful garden view and there were lots of lovely personal touches.

This stay was so special. Our first ryokan during our first trip to Japan and it didn’t let us down in anyway. First: hospitality — top level. Friendly, kind and very thoughtful.

We made it to Guesthouse Kazura just in time to check-in by 8pm. It was snowing heavily the day we were in Nanto, so it wasn't an easy journey.

The new rooms renovated are really nice and the service is good too. The best part which I like is the dinner — very high quality!
