Outdoor onsen with sauna. I've tattoos that can be covered up with the stickers they provided. Rules were clear and upfront so just have to follow them. Free supper. Clean room.

Really nice hotel. Not only they serve breakfast, they also provide ramen at night and snacks in the afternoon free of charge.

We only stayed one night, but what an experience! This is a must do if you want to experience zen and Boudhist culture. The food was not for us though, but you should at least try it.

We stayed here for 5 nights at first and felt to extend our stay for another 5 nights. Such a special place. Go to the morning services at the Temple.

We had two nights there a Saturday & Sunday.
Very good place to stay, very close to the station and the bus terminal, we used both so ideal for our needs.

Rooms are small in size, bed is also small, but it is very clean and new.
Adequate room amenities.
Breakfast spread is also good.

The staff was super helpful and polite. They also spoke English. If you book early the price is very very good. Even if you extend an extra day or purchase same day the price is decent!

Staying at this small guesthouse in Kanazawa was truly the highlight of my trip, feeling more like a home than a traditional stay, thanks to the incredible atmosphere and staff.

Although we only stayed for one night, it was sure enough to experience the hospitality of Nina-san at Pongyi.

My wife booked our accommodation here for 2 nights last December 3-4, 2025. The price was very good. Both the staff and the amenities were excellent, and the hotel itself felt luxurious.

Gorgeous little upscale hotel with beautiful rooms. Extraordinary woodworking for its decor, even in each room. Restaurant on the premises too.

Our stay at your beautiful hotel was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Japan. We stayed at 11 different hotels and yours provided the most immersive Japanese experience.

There is nothing we could complain about. The arrival instructions are even showing pictures of the parking lot so you can be sure you're at the right place.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was clean, well appointed and the shower had great water pressure.

Situated in a quiet residential area, around 10min walk of Kanazawa station this beautiful Ryokan offered exactly what we needed after the big rush in Tokyo.

The Minn Kanazawa is on a main street close to buses but also walkable to many attractions and restaurants. The room was large and comfortabl and nicely decorated.

First of all, largest room of our 16 day trip in Japan. Japanese bed was good, but minimal space to get around it causing us to walk on bed.

The hair oils they offer for guests is the best thing ever.

It was easy to catch the bus here from the station, comfortable room with enough space. Very clean.

This was by far one of our best stays during our 6-weeks touring of Japan. (Hotels, airbnbs, and bookings combined).

Excellent stay at the Route Inn in Tonami. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. A variety of Japanese and western style dishes.

Stayed here for 3 nights using Tsuruga as a base city to explore the Sea of Japan side of the country, and it turned out to be one of my favorite hotels in all of Japan.

Very modern and convenient hotel. Few minutes walking distance from the railway station. The rooms are bigger than on the rest of Japan. Very strong Wi-Fi.

The room price here is very amazing. It is really cheap even though we book a room for 2 people at the size of 27metre square.

Hotel Vista far exceeded our expectations for its price point. This hotel is stylish and the rooms spacious (island double bed! ) and well appointed, with lots of natural light.

Great location because it is only a 5 minute walk from Kanazawa Station. Super easy check-in. Room is on the small for our group of four but this standard for most hotel accommodations in Japan.

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and great location. Kanazawa is, so far, the highlight of my entire 2 week trip in Japan, and this hotel played a big part in that enjoyment.

The hotel’s location is very convenient, with a nearby mall and easy access to tourist attractions. The rooms are centrally heated, so it can get a bit warm at times.
