Stayed for 1 night and the stay was splendid!
Spacious and very nicely furnished rooms.
Breakfast was also good. Kids loved the French Toast set.

We finally got around to doing our photo album from our vacation in Japan during November 2023. While doing that we realized we never left a review for our amazing time at Taniya.

My husband and I spent a month in Japan, and the time spent at Taniya, was by far, the best part of our trip. It is a special spot, and the owners are beyond generous, kind, & attentive.

Yesterday evening it was raining so heavily that I was totally soaked. I stopped at the gate of this hotel to find a shelter from the rain.

Super sweet hotel. Location is in a smaller town. I could reach by train and a 15 minute walk. I chose it because of its traditional look.

Good half board, great onsen.

We stayed at Mizumari for our honey moon and it was our favorite stay while we were in Japan! Taiyo and his staff went above and beyond for us, and the amount of included amenities is incredible.

Yuki and Ken are the best! This welcoming homestay is located close to the top of the hill with gorgeous views, a perfect location for hiking from Magome to Tsumago.

What a fabulous combination of traditional and modern style! Yumi and Ken have designed a gem of an inn.

It is an excellent place to escape the cities and enjoy calm mountain views.

The inn has a long history that goes back to the Edo period but has been renovated several times and even has Wi-Fi. The toilets and bath appear to be very new.

Wonderful hotel perched at the top of the hill with amazing Japanese breakfast! The Wi-Fi is iffy but at least the hotel attempted to provide free Wi-Fi. Ample free parking space.

What a beautiful house in an amazing location! The house was decorated with ceramic pieces by local artists, and located so close to the famous Oribe Street. We would love to come back!

Kintsugi House Tajimi is a hidden gem that beautifully combines modern comfort with traditional Japanese aesthetics.

We had an amazing stay at Litore Iritahama.
This place is accessible and just right in front of the beach. The area is not crowded, unlike the other beach areas in Shimoda.

Rooms were clean and basic but extremely functional. The rooms were still served with fresh changes of towels and toiletries when one opt for no cleaning. This is excellent! The.

I spent three nights at this hotel in August 2024. The room was compact, similar in size to other hotels designed for two people. It had all the necessary amenities.

The Ekai in Toyohashi is a beautifully designed guest house. It is very clean, freshly renovated and invites you to stay. I had a wonderful evening with a few guests and Moto.

Wonderful 2-night stay at Glamping & Port Yui. The glamping site is newly converted from an elementary school and well maintained. Staff are helpful, friendly and professional.
