Cottages in AichiCottage

Stayed at the detached Balian room.
A tatami room, bedroom, and Balinese-style open-air bath.
The open-air hot spring bath in the room was amazing!

The sashimi boat platter was amazing.
The bath was private and there was no time limit, so I was able to relax while looking out at the ocean.

One of the best hotels I stayed in Japan, close to the beach with great views and the staff was incredibly friendly, especially Hiroki san. His umeshu float was absolutely delicious!

We were looking for a small hotel with a friendly atmosphere and ocean views, and Garden Villa Shirahama did not disappoint. We had a lovely stay.

What an outstanding place this is. A beautiful little town with this gem of a place to live up in the trees. And the staff and the owner Jun was always going beyond what you expect.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

We absolutely loved our stay at K’s Villa Hida-an in Takayama. The house is a beautifully restored traditional Japanese home, combining comfort with authentic charm.

A lovely traditional style Japanese house. Very spacious and great location to the train station and short walk to the old town. The house was immaculately clean and well presented.

We love our 3 nights stay at your amazing house. Thank you very much for turning on the heater before our arrival.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay. It's located perfectly for exploring Takayama, and conveniently close to the Takayama station and bus terminal, a short 10min walk.

Amazing stay! The spot is stunning and so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind — maybe even write a book.

Great place out in the nature. Peaceful, fresh air with amazing view of the ocean. 30 minutes walk to the beach with taxis also available. The interior was amazing too. With a nice cozy atmosphere.

From Mark’s warmth & friendliness, to the stellar location of the property (we’re just minutes away from Jogasaki Coast, Mt Omuro & lots of little cafes), this was our home away from home.

Getting up to the sunrise and staying close to the nature is the blessing in life!
Masaya Villa offered me and my friends such an amazing opportunity to explore the beautiful Izu.

This is a hidden gem. We booked this place for two nights during the Sakura season. The row of Sakura is just right outside at the patio. It is a quiet stretch and you have your privacy.

Book on Agoda. I used it for 1 night and 2 days.
You can see the Kawazu River from the balcony, and there are tables with parasols on the balcony, so you can relax.

Amazing stay and super clean accommodation. We felt really welcomed by Nate and he made the trip twice better.

It was a great traditional experience, right in the middle of the old town, close to restaurants and the morning market.
The rooms were big and beautiful, but the stairs were quite steep.

It was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. They speak English pretty well and maintain good communication.

The owner was friendly and talked to me and I felt it was a comfortable inn. The entire accommodation was beautiful and clean.
I would like to use it again when I come to Takayama.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 7 pax and we booked 2 of the apartments. We absolutely loved our time here and wish we had longer!

We have just stayed 4 wonderful nights at Sunny Side cottage, and it has been the most amazing experience.

This is one of our best stays in Japan.
Best suited for both family and group trips.
The toys area for kids is a very thoughtful one.
Bonfire, BBQ, kitchen are very useful.

Absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb! The night view from the living room was breathtaking, creating the perfect ambiance for my birthday celebrations.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Atami Tenkai Villa and was thoroughly impressed with both the stunning location and the overall experience.
