3-Star Hotels in Aichi3*

This is a retro hotel that is walkable to the shopping arcade and beach. Although older, the hotel was extremely clean. Rooms were like apartments — larger than expected.

The location is near Atami Ginza tori, not vary far from the Atami Station, about 10 min walk.

Huge room with separate seating area and great views of Atami from window/balcony. Outstanding dinner and breakfast. Great bargain. The rooms are outdated.

Stayed here for two days.
15 minutes or so from Atami-Station on foot though, you need to consider the big difference height. Especially in Summer season, you might consider to use taxi or public bus.

Came for a quick day trip and had a wonderful time. Got 30 minutes of work done in peace and quiet in the room, then spent another hour or so in the private rooftop onsen. Well worth the prices.

We stayed here knowing they don't have elevators. It wasn't as bad as I thought.
They have a free shuttle service from Atami Sta. That needs to be reserved.

This is the sunrise view in my room at Hotel Resorpia, Anniversary well spent ❤️
Near Sun Beach, Convenience Store, Train Station, 2 min away at bus station.

A floor-to-ceiling window to invite the ocean, sun, breezes, moon, and stars into your room! Simply amazing! Not to mention the spacious room space plus a Japanese tatami living room!

Stayed at the detached Balian room.
A tatami room, bedroom, and Balinese-style open-air bath.
The open-air hot spring bath in the room was amazing!

The sashimi boat platter was amazing.
The bath was private and there was no time limit, so I was able to relax while looking out at the ocean.

I stayed here as a gift from my daughter on her birthday.

It was a wonderful experience. A big attraction is that the rooms come with hot springs.

Stayed for two nights in this luxury hotel. The hotel grounds is sprawling, with own golf course. Quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was also awesome. Kudos to the attentive and friendly staff.

Spectacular resort. All the stuff members are incredible hardworking and attentive. Food was phenomenal. I love the combination of Japanese tradition, music, arts and sports.

The staff at the reception were super friendly and helpful even though I don’t know much Japanese. I wish I knew their names so they could get some recognition! The rooms are clean and high standard.

We were genuinely quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. Visiting as part of a three week tour for our honeymoon, we stayed in 9 hotels, and some swanky ones costing almost 10x this per night.

Stayed here two nights and it was fantastic. Perfectly located with on-site parking. The lobby is stylish and very comfortable. Room was spotlessly clean, spacious (for Japan) and well appointed.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough! PERFECT location, super friendly staff. It feels authentic Japanese. The breakfast is great.

We were satisfied with everything here. The room was large enough for 4 people with a baby, we've got everything we need (amenities) the room is quite old vintage style with ocean view.

The guest room features a tatami setting and is neat and tidy, although it is not a new hotel. The dining experience is quite good—the food tastes excellent and is well prepared.

We stayed at the Nippondaira for one night during our trip through Japan, and it was a unique experience. Our room was classical Japanese-style with tatami mats in all rooms (except the bathroom).

Simply stunning! We visited in January and stayed in the superior japanese style room. Room was huge and had Mt Fuji view. Breakfast was delish, you can choose either buffet or japanese kaiseki.

Excellent hotel very accessible from the train station. Plenty of amenities and facilities with friendly and helpful staff.

Truly an unusually good hotel at this price point. The rooms are compact but perfectly nice and well-appointed.

We stayed for 2 nights back in February and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming and polite, especially the restaurant staff.

This is by far one of the best traditional ryokan I’ve ever stayed in Japan. The crew was warm, welcoming and polite. The service was impeccable.

I used it on a business trip.

Came to this hotel by mistake (had a reservation in a different city). The staff was very professional even though I didn't have a reservation there.

Excellent vibes & location. The onsite cafe was a bonus! The rooms were clean and stylish. I enjoyed the inclusion of a book in my room from the cafe.

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was well-maintained with a proper separation between the shower and dry areas. Everything felt clean and comfortable.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and we are very happy with everything.
Excellent service, comfortable beds and rooms, and many complementary facilities. We will definitely come back!

An overnight stay after visiting Premium Outlets Gotemba and like all Dormy Inns in Japan, this does not disappoint. Basic necessities but comfortable enough for a short stay.

All guest rooms, including the new wing that opened in July, have an open-air bath on the balcony, allowing you to enjoy your own private time without worrying about the people around you.

It was a special day trip, and the room was just the right size with a private bath and several types of individual hot springs ♨️ The view was amazing.

About 20 years ago, my husband and I took a day trip to the hot springs.

I wanted to see sea otters, so I looked for them in Toba, and I was able to find a nice person, Mr. Basashin, who took care of me. A hearty dinner that even my husband, who is a big eater, couldn't

We stayed one night at this hotel. This hotel is a traditional Japanese style, it is very cozy and traditional.

This stay was the highlight of our two week trip to Japan! They were so kind and welcoming to us and we loved our room and the hot baths downstairs!

Exceptional location, great rooms, typically efficient & friendly Japanese service.
We truly loved every part of our recent stay here.

Overall an excellent stay. Wish we had chosen to spend a couple more nights because the hotel and amenities were so great.
