My family booked through txxp. Com for a Thursday & Friday in mid April. Costed 11000 yen per night per room. We booked on 3F which featured super high ceilings & windows and a balcony.

Had an amazing experience staying at this Ryokan. Their hospitality was incomparable. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. Rooms and thermal baths are so well maintained.

The place was awesome! The staff was very kind, and the room with the private onsen in it was wonderful! We had the traditional dinner and breakfast wich we really enjoyed!

Reasonable price. Room with air con, heated fan, heatable blankets. Includes a very convenient shared kitchen and showers (includes laundry for a small fee).

It was such an amazing experience to have Sakura Guest House as our hostel.

Another great traditional style Japanese lodgings. Rooms and communal facilities were good, breakfast and dinners included, and an absolutely lovely hostess. Top marks!

Please be aware that this style of accommodation is quite common in Japan and you should not be judging it on western hotels. If you want them then they are easy to find.

This ryokan is excellent and run by the friendliest, most caring, and accommodating operators I have ever come across.

Great and authentic Ryokan, stayed with my girlfriend 1 night.

The service is top notch! I booked a room but couldn't stay due to a medical emergency and had to return home early. Hoshokaku was very kind. They canceled my reservation without a cancellation fee.

7 minute walk to Takayama old town red bridge. Hoshokaku provides a great immersive experience of Japanese culture. Japanese breakfast and dinner included. Kubota provided.

I had a great 2 night stay after my initial 3 nights in Tokyo! Tried both the dinner and the breakfast. They are both traditional Japanese meals with many small dishes.

We had a two-night stay here and it was absolutely amazing!

The Ryokan is like living in an ethereal dream world. The buildings and their interiors are beautiful and the backdrop of snow in February was just stunning.

They offer various public and private onsen baths, both indoors and outdoors.

The hostel is in a beautiful old traditional wood house. The room I stayed at was very cosy and comfortable, even the futon had a heated blanket to warm me up in the coldest nights!

Lovely stay, close to everything and it has everything that you need. It's a charming wooden structure house. Great BbQ room.

Check in service was smooth, all online and over zoom calls which was different. The French lady working the online reception was friendly and very helpful giving us recommendations.

The view from the room is outstanding, the window is so big and there’s coffee table and pillow chair for sitting next to window. Because its winter, the view was amazing.

Our stay at Shimoda Prince Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.

A charming yet clearly aging hotel with a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. The highlight is undoubtedly the onsen overlooking the ocean – a truly unforgettable experience.

Spent the night with a family of five (two children and a grandparent). We stayed in a spacious corner suite on the fourth floor, I believe it was room 57. It was a lovely experience.

Fantastic inn, lovely private and open baths and helped us book a taxi on departure.

2025-10-21 very nice day-use onsen. Access to 2 open air and 1 indoor baths for 1600 yens (soaps and small towel included). The resting areas (indoor and outdoor) are nice too.

This was our first onsen hotel stay and I must say it’s fantastic.

I stayed here for the firework in June. The owner is one of the best people I have encountered. It was my birthday and the owner made my stay very special. The atmosphere was super cozy.

Just a 6 minute walk from Atami St. Owned and run by the amazing Mayo San and her team. If you arrive early, you can place your luggage on the rack on the 3rd floor.

This was our third visit to Hiramatsu Atami and we will gladly go back again. We had one of the 2nd floor rooms which we like a they have more of a patio than the first floor.

There are many accommodations in Atami but chose this one mainly based on the location, private onsen and French food.

We stayed one night with the base price room with my mom. It was one of the most precious, relaxing and happiest time we could ever spend.

I used Google translate bc K live in a large minka in Kyoto and only speak and write Japanese.
This was an amazing hotel.

I’m giving this hotel 5 stars for delivering exactly what a good 3-star hotel should. The room is compact, but clean, functional, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials.

The open-air bath seemed to have been renovated and was very clean and nice.
You can see greenery from the bath, and there is a bench outside where you can relax and enjoy the view.

I saw some reviews saying it was old, but I didn't think it was that old.

Exceptional hospitality — The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and respectful, showing genuine care in every interaction.

The rooms were pristine and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and spoke English well, they even made us origami! Overall amazing peaceful and gorgeous resort.

This hotel has only one amenity, the laundry area. But the room space, large beds and sala were very satisfactory.

I chose this spot initially because of the good reviews on other sites, the price, and the fact that it could accommodate 3 people in one room.

Good business hotel very close to Toyohashi Station!

Located on the Shinkansen side of Toyohashi station, Just Inn Toyohashi provided a decent sized room at a reasonable price.

My husband and I stayed here.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was a wonderful stay.
