We love the swimming pool and the lifesafe guard is very kind. The staffs are friendly especially the dinner and breakfast buffet. The room is very spacious.

I had a great time here with my friends. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This place is magical. The staff were wonderful and provided a fantastic check-in experience. We deeply appreciated the upgrade to a Junior Suite.

The hotel is located on top of a mountain, you need a car to get around. It’s a four star property, it’s more like a courtyard properly but it’s a little nicer.

Spent a couple of nights in this wonderful hotel in our family trip of Mt Fuji admiration. The facilities are grand and luxurious feels. The breakfast buffet was of a great standard.

I had the most beautiful experience during my birthday trip to Mount Fuji, especially around the Yamanakako area.

The manager of the villa was very helpful and accommodating during the initial house tour, being very thorough with explaining how everything works.

We booked a twin room with a sea view and a private open-air bath. The beds were huge, and the view of the rising sun from the hot bath was magnificent!

I was looking for a place to stay once in a while at a hotel by the sea that I pass by all the time, and I found this inn with free-flowing hot spring water and an open-air bath with its own room!

Hard to say anything negative about this place. The service was kind, the rooms were immaculate and well lit, it was clean and the buffet was a treat.

Stayed here for two nights on 30 Nov and 1 Dec. The hotel has def seen some years but everything was clean and tidy.

Wow, what an amazing stay we’ve had! The hotel is incredible, and the staff are so helpful. We wanted to book a golf trip through the hotel but had some trouble because everything was in Japanese.

The world is indeed a small place. Had the opportunity to stay here (3-13-25) with my Japanese family and learned while there that it originated as a summer home of the son of Mitsubishi’s founder.

Beautiful experience for our family of 3! The room was traditional, very large and well equipped/decorated. It had a beautiful private outdoor onsen and a private indoor onsen also.

Our absolute favorite place during our entire trip around Japan! The town is very quiet and friendly, surrounded by mountains and within walking distance of the sea.

Gero Onsen Suimeikan is a wonderful place to stay — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed with both Japanese and Western elements.

We, a family of four, stayed in a large tatami room. This hotel has a beautiful night view of Gero surroundings and scenic views🗻🏔 in the daytime. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable.

I had a great 2 night stay after my initial 3 nights in Tokyo! Tried both the dinner and the breakfast. They are both traditional Japanese meals with many small dishes.

Our stay at Shimoda Prince Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.

A charming yet clearly aging hotel with a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. The highlight is undoubtedly the onsen overlooking the ocean – a truly unforgettable experience.

Spent the night with a family of five (two children and a grandparent). We stayed in a spacious corner suite on the fourth floor, I believe it was room 57. It was a lovely experience.

Fantastic inn, lovely private and open baths and helped us book a taxi on departure.
