Tokai Hotels with a Pool

Beautiful resort with comfy rooms and attentive service. Dinner service was nice but pricey. Onsen was clean and I appreciated that it was available for private use after midnight.

Wonderful stay with our family of six. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, even arranging a complimentary taxi to help us move our luggage.

This 溫泉旅館 is situated on top of a cliff overlooking a large sea inlet between several islands, and the view from the room was really incredible.

I didn't have to pay to stay here so my review might be slightly biased, but I genuinely had an excellent experience. There are three public baths, including at least one with an outdoor bath.

Rooms are old. But the service and food are unbelievably great. Staff speaks well English. We had onsan and set dinner there. Food quality is great. Recommend.

Comfortable hotel tho a bit dated. Good room. Beautiful scenery. Golf was well organized. Oshima course a little tricky — blind shots. In good condition. Did not play the Fuji course.

Amazing hotel, it is right on top of a hill top facing the Suruga Bay and a forest across the road. I felt warmly welcomed when I arrived at the hotel, truly Japanese hospitality at its best.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was very good, polite. The room was very spacious and comfortable. More over the view was breathtaking, from our balcony we could see Mt Fuji in her full glory.

Room was very luxurious and hair dryer was very good to use. Only inconvenience is that the air-conditioner/heater is a centralised system so you can’t individually adjust room temperature.

A beautiful resort! We hosted an event here for our family and friends. The staff and service are incredible. Food is also delicious and the onsen is one of the most beautiful I’ve experienced.

We loved the hotel. We had a Japanese room and slept very well on the futons. Onsen was WONDERFUL especially the outdoor one.

We recently spent 6 nights at Hotel Izukyo, and while the hotel itself shows its age, the experience was wonderful thanks to the amazing staff.

Not bad at all, big room! Very good Japanese bathroom. It is probably not to everybody's taste but you have a nice view on the railways. Ideal for pictures.

I chose Hinodeya as I wanted a place close to Izukogen station. It's a 10 minute uphill walk from the station and is located on the main road through town. Taxi fare from the station was reasonable.

Wonderful classic tatami mat room with 2 great little private onsen rooms. Owners were kind enough to drive us to a suspension bridge in the neighbourhood (recommended activity for sure).

Love the hotel, I will definitely come back again. My booking was messed up due to my reservation site.

View is spectacular. The room is very spacious and luxurious. The food is also very good (breakfast is buffet, and the choices are abundant.

This hotel was unexpectedly lovely! The "onsen pool" was the perfect temperature, and it was nice to be able to enjoy an onsen-like experience with my mixed-sex group of (shy American) friends.

The room was a little small with two dogs.
There was a small dog run, and there were cages and dog sets in the room.

The things were fun and there was a very good multi instrumentalist staying in the same room. He's in band.

The pool and the seaside attractions are bomb and luxury!

We stayed here for one night to experience a Japanese Ryokan and to make use of the onsen. This is a small, family-run Ryokan.

We stayed a night and enjoyed it thoroughly.
The room was very spacious, and had all the amenities one would need.

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Though it wasn’t fully booked, it had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

This hotel is a total gem! The hosts are so welcoming and kind and they gave me a ride to the temple and to the station. This was the start to my Japan travels and I’ll go back.

Stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The ocean view from the room was beautiful, and the traditional tatami setup was cozy and clean.

I’m about to finish up my stay here and have seen enough. It’s a beautiful property, very clean and on the beach. We were upgraded to a corner room with 2 balconies and it has been fantastic.

The staff were all extremely friendly. They were always helpful, constantly making the trip more delightful.

Spacious rooms and fantastic view. We didn't dine in at the hotel restaurant and only tried the public bath which was satisfactory and nothing surprising. A bit smelly on the outdoor terrace though.

I had a very comfortable and relaxing night here. It's only a 5-minute walk from Izu Atagawa Station to the hotel.
The room is spacious and newly designed, and the bed is of moderate firmness.
