I spent 4 nights. I met some nice people from Himeji, Kumamoto Thailand and other cities. Clean, comfortable and friendly.

This hotel was right next to the station and in perfect distance to get around Ise. The inside atmosphere was very clean and cozy, with lots of spaces to hang out as well as a bar upstairs.

The host is probably the best host I have ever had. Incredible level of hospitality. I would never be able to forget the experience we had even if we stayed for only one night.

Very easy to see why it has a 5 star rating. Possibly our favourite stay of the whole two week trip — and we only stayed one night!

Had an unforgettable stay at Hostel Fujisan YOU. First of all, the location. It's located centrally in Fujiyoshida, about a 5 minute walk from Mt. Fuji station.

Wonderful place to stay, Masaya was a great host, speaks excellent English, attentive and friendly. I would stay here again! There are some restaurants nearby as well as a convenience store.

The host is very friendly, can speak well in English so foreigners won't have any problem. The bath is nice and rooms are clean. There's also a very cozy common area.

​This was a very clean, quiet, and spacious place that felt wonderfully cozy for our family.

I love how cozy it is and the room gives you a Japanese feel with how the interiors are designed. I also love that they have complimentary coffee abd tea. The staff was amazing!

This place is a gem. It’s a short walk from kawaguchiko station and the hosts were very nice. They helped us keep our bags while we climbed up Mt Fuji and were very kind.

I had a lovely and memorable stay at this accommodation. It offers a relaxing, cozy, and warm vibe that makes you feel right at home.

If I could give higher rating I would. The place that the owner almost build himself is cosy, clean, well placed and you feel like home. The host is the most fun, kind and giving host I have ever had.

Brilliant location — very close to the train and bus stations — and all the major sightseeing points are within a 10-30 min walk. They have umbrellas available for free, laundry is 500 yen.

It locates in a small, quiet and nice village. Everything is good, the host is friendly, the room is cozy, clean… however this area is so boring at night.

The best traditional hotel we've ever stayed in, perhaps the best hotel of any style! If you're lucky enough to book it, do it with your eyes closed.

Magnificent. Owners are soft spoken and polite, rarely seen but appear immediately when summoned by the bell at reception.

I had an amazing stay at Fuji Guesthouse — staff were so helpful and attentive and gave me all the information I needed for the area and to climb Mount Fuji.

Kinoya Hostel was a warm and inviting Ryokan on the two occasions I visited. Both times I was staying with one other friend, we got to try two different rooms.

An absolutely wonderful, small and authentic place to stay, away from the usual tourist areas in Japan.

Best location for a reset before we headed to Tokyo. Ride a bike around the village. Visit the salt makers. Go to the cafe. Visit the fish co-op.

The building is old, the floor are VERY squeaky, but it's beautiful. The staff are friendly and explain everything, the other guests are generally nice and you can make new friends.

My 2-night stay at K’s House Ito Onsen was wonderful. The traditional shared room and common area were great with a nice view of the river.

Chill vibes, employees are cool and they speak some English if you need it. They give great recommendations on things to do in the Ito peninsula. Get the breakfast, it’s amazing.

They have a nice foods, and the room was si clean, all staf was so friendly.

It is a clean, cozy and serene place to stay.

It was extremely clean, much bigger and more spacious than I expected. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, and the location was perfect.

I really liked my stay here. The facilities are great, especially the large kitchen and the big common room and the outdoor theme really enhances the experience.
