Stayed here for 3D2N and honestly wished I had booked longer.

Such a perfect place to stay! We loved it. Great breakfast at nearby Cafe. Noise isolation between rooms could be better but no problems for us, visited during autumn.

The view from the room is amazing! I loved it and the private onsen that they offer is also a really great add to the experience! ✨

We chose (海) Umi room with stunning Mt. Fuji view. The room was large with separate toilet and bathroom. They have private hot spring which you can reserve and use free of charge.

The hostel is in a beautiful old traditional wood house. The room I stayed at was very cosy and comfortable, even the futon had a heated blanket to warm me up in the coldest nights!

Lovely stay, close to everything and it has everything that you need. It's a charming wooden structure house. Great BbQ room.

Check in service was smooth, all online and over zoom calls which was different. The French lady working the online reception was friendly and very helpful giving us recommendations.

The view from the room is outstanding, the window is so big and there’s coffee table and pillow chair for sitting next to window. Because its winter, the view was amazing.

Rooms and facilities: Traditional and modern at the same time. Rooms are bigger than most accommodations in Japan. The place is very quiet and aesthetic. Clean, too.

Reasonable price. Room with air con, heated fan, heatable blankets. Includes a very convenient shared kitchen and showers (includes laundry for a small fee).

First, you have the stunning design of the house, nestled in the heart of the forest, peaceful and refined in that uniquely Japanese way.

The most beautifully restful stay. The food is incredible and such a treat (7, 000 yen for a multi course tasting menu! ). Amazing ambience and hospitality — we felt super zen and cosy.

This place is cool, cozy, and a little eclectic. It has an old, charming aesthetic that is very different from other hostels that I have stayed in. The bed space is good.

Nice place to stay, nice staff and food. It's a 15 minutes walk to the Shizuoka station which is really convinient. I recommend this place if you want to stay in shizuoka city.

Hostel is very nice, better than photos. You can see the Fuji mount from hostel street. There are water machines (hot and cold), bathrooms with shampoo, soap, etc.

We stayed here during our Fuji trip. It is a decent, clean accommodation and the self-check in/check out is efficient. The place is also quiet.

I have just spent three weeks at Michael's hostel. It is my third visit. Michael and his wife Kazuko are the best hosts, knowledgable of the area and very helpful to your needs.

We had a great stay at Backpackers JINYA. It’s a simple but comfortable place, perfect for budget travelers. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the common areas are nice without being noisy.

We loved our stay at Jinya Backpackers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and private (despite having a curtain door). The bathroom facilities were clean and frequently quiet, despite being shared.

A beautiful little hostel and diner! The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage prior to check in as we explored Ise.

I went with some friends for a weekend and really enjoyed it. Very quiet and clean, and the Americana decor is very charming.

Nice comfortable stay. We got a room to ourselves as we have 4 adults. The bed is spacious. Since it is a guest house, the amenities are shared and do keep your volume down when you are in your room.

I spent one night here during my trip to visit Takayama and Shirakawago. It was a great experience!

I enjoyed the hot spring. Although very simple, the price was fair.

The place is ok for what you are paying, room was ok (we booked a double) and there is a beautiful view on every room.

Really great stay. Would recommend anyone stop here on their Japan trip. Can rent bikes and see the sights. Host goes out his way to make sure you are happy.

This guesthouse is within 2 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. There is toothbrush and toothpaste provided in the room.

Great hostel for a low price, located near the kawaguchiko station and close to lake kawaguchi makes it an ideal option when planning to hike in the area.
