Our first night, great food, steak on a stone WOW… and great staff, helping us Choose the best drinks. Glad we are here for a few nights.

Absolutely has to be their signature dish Steak on the stone. We give it 10/10 and by our standards that's realllllly good.

Food was good, pints Guinness fresh, prices reasonable, very friendly staff, clean place, close to Castle
Was 10 people in my group and we all had same opinion
1 day trip to Kilkenny.

The food was delicious and very tasty (we had the angusburger and fish & chips). The atmosphere and the service was standard. If you would eat very tasty barfood, I can recomded you the Rafter Dempsey's.

Great place staff so friendly. Olive is a gem. Food is fantastic best steak I had in a long time.

I had a lovely stay here the rooms could be improved but the rest was lovely. The staff was just so friendly and helpful and really accommodating. The breakfast really hit the spot full irish and there was also a continental breakfast there also loved it. Would recommend for a stag or just a group of friends put for a brill time in kilkenny.

What can I say about olive gerry and mikayla we went to a stag all 20 something of us wee were treat like royalty from the second we went in till we left this morning gerry and olive couldn't do enough for us even if we were bowld we had our breakfast every morning and then. Our steak which was unreal thank u very much between the whole lot of ye you know exactly wat you are at gerry olive and mikayla thank u so much.

Great pub in the heart of Kilkenny city… great food, lovely staff and great affordable accomidation for those wishing to stay.

A Lucky turn oft High Street and we found the perfect place for Lunch. The BBQ Ribs (Daily Special) were amazing some of the best I ever had.

We had a Brilliant time in Rafters The Food was Great The Staff are lovely and friendly.

Great gig during the Kilkenny Roots festival. The place was packed but the staff handled it well and we got a comfortable seat. What's not to like?

Fantastic time food was very enjoyable and accommodation was clean as well as very central.

Lively pub with B&B overhead. Don't try to go to bed early!

Nice place the food is really good and reasonably priced the staff are very friendly and a great selection of beer's.

Nice B&B, after Pubtour through Kilkenny you can still take a cosy nightcap before you can go directly from the pub to the above rooms. Rooms were quiet but also very little going on during our time of stay. Breakfast was OK. Nice interior of the rafter.

Excellent, service great, a most enjoyable experence, I have visited there on several occasions and look foreward to my next visit.

The restaurant is located on a side street of Kilkenny. We ate the steak we prepared on our own stone. The service was great and the food delicious.

Nice pub, just of the high Street, good food. Only downside is the grumpy owner, but he's saved by his friendly staff.

No frills sleeping quarters but a great location on a hidden street. The staff was extremely pleasant. They served the heartiest Irish Breakfast I had over a seven day tour!

Perfect BNB or just for the pub. We took the BNB option, the rooms have some private bathroom and toilet, we have all the space we want. ++ The pub is in the sme building, it really matches the expectation of an Irish pub.

Nice athmosphere. Barman Robert very friendly. Food also served here which I did not sample. It also does overnight accommodation. There was a man playing nice music there also. Good lication just off High Street, Kilkenny.

Always great experience in rafters staff friendly food top notch little slow on the service but well worth the wait.

Lovely business. Bar person very attentive to everyone especially to Elderly people on there own A New call for me.

Ok food at reasonable prices… good staff and a clean place to eat.

Loved the location and everyone was real nice. We were above the smoking area and our room smelled of smoke. We are nonsmokers so that was a little unpleasant. Wi-Fi was not strong.

Just back from a two night stay. What can I say we enjoyed ourselfs down to the ground. Celebrating my sister's hen party, the staff were great there was nothing they wouldn't do for us. The food was fantastic both breakfast and dinner was included, great selection on both days. Big thanks to Michael who kept us entertained with the cocktail class on Saturday evening… stilll feeling the effects from it. Not forgetting the night porter who must be the most patient man in ireland. Thanks again to Josephine for organising everything. Great place to stay for hen and stag parties.

My fried who is home from New York and I stayed here it is a clean pleasant B&B at a very reasonable price, the room was exceptionally clean the was a bit of traffic noise but that can't be helped all in all I would hoghly recommend this place.

Just went with my girlfriend, everything was reheated and dry, had to send it back, but wer charged 50% because I took two bites of the burger… waitress was lovely and done a great job do.

Really really noisey. Impossible to sleep. Only for rowdy drinkers.

Hated it he thinks he is better than everyone very bad choice the Melrose house is a lot better or the kilford arms please don't chose the rafter dempsey trust me.

Wide variety of beers and the best burger I've ever eaten in my life.
