Lovely staff, very welcoming great location definitely staying there again.

Stayed last weekend of June found the staff to be really bubbly and happy. Clean rooms, breakfast fab, great location. We shall be back.

Very small rooms with all drunk ppl making noise at night.
trouble and rude staff avoid this budget hotel.

This hotel has very helpful staff who are extremely friendly, amazing coffee, the decor is beautifully unusual. The Voya products in the room were the cherry on top!

I'm absolutely disgusted with this hotel. I bought a voucher for a two night stay at the hotel through a holiday website. I checked the availability on the holiday website AND on the hotels own website, there was availability on both. I bought the voucher and booked straight away, only to get an email saying the hotel has no availability. I rang the hotel and was told they did have availability but have refused to take my voucher booking. At this very moment I can still go on the hotel website and book the dates I requested. They are using this voucher as advertising and then refusing the bookings in the hopes they will make more money off direct bookings instead. Disgraceful practice by the hotel.

Great place to stay food fab staff friendly and central to town.

Nettes Hotel in Stadtnähe. Sehr sauber und gemütlich. Großes gemütliches Zimmer und Bad mit Abstellmöglichkeiten. Frühstück sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich. Parkplatz im Hof. WLAN top. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Myself and partner stayed for 2 nights. Friendly welcome, all staff very friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Good location and price. Unfortunately the breakfast was very poor very basic menu to choose from and very small portions. Service poor as under staffed.

Location, location, location! We stayed here our first two nights while visiting Ireland for the first time. The location is ideal because you can literally walk to anything. Food, drinks, sightseeing, you name it! Its a very short walk to the Kilkenny castle. We had a wonderful view of the church. If road noise is a problem for you at night, it would be best to request a room in the back. However, it did not present a problem for us and we loved being able to look down on the main road. The people in the town of Kilkenny were very pleasant. The ladies working the front desk were very helpful and accommodating. The bathroom and shower were both spacious and they were nice enough to provide a hairdryer.

Gorgeous Boutique hotel. Just returned from a night at The Kilkenny Inn in Saturday for my Sister's Hen Party. Really could not be happier with the professional and courteous service from Yvonne and all the team. The rooms were immaculate, clearly very recently renovated, big fluffy towels in the bathrooms and Voya products which were an unexpected touch. Seriously comfy beds. We ate in the restaurant and our food was piping hot and delicious to a table of 23. The breakfast was made to order and very appetizing but was Just a little slow due to 20 ravenous ladies arriving at once… totally worth the wait and the fresh scones took the edge off! Short walk to all the action or 2 Euro per person in a taxi in heels which the hotel book without fuss or delay. I would go back to The Kilkenny Inn without hesitation be it for a hen or just a short break. Thanks Yvonne and all the team for truly treating us like guests and making my Sister's Hen night in Kilkenny great.

Great hotel. We have been there for a number of years. A few minutes walk from the center of Kilkenny. The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Also the staff in the restaurant. Good breakfast. Hair dryer to ask at the reception. Free Wi-Fi and parking. We hope to go back next year. It just like coming home. Jan and Mary, Holland.

"Kernal" a newly managed restaurant serves delicious Lamb, succulent and the Jus de Vis is a natural demand for more. The Salmon was moist and delicious while pleasantly crusted on the outside A very enjoyable evening indeed Thank you Ryan for your excellent service.

The hotel is being refurbished at the moment but that didn't detract from our very pleasant stay. All the staff are so nice and very helpful. They have a Michelin chef so the food was excellent and it is very popular eating place for non-residents as well. The service also was excellent. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. It's central to everything you would want to visit so walking is no problem and the parking is free. I would definitely return in the future.

Great stop during a tour of Ireland. The staff were wonderful and helpful. When I asked questions about areas to see around the hotel the staff member was very knowledgeable about things I might like to see. They also made recommendations of things that were not typical to the tourist attractions. Great stay.

Nice hotel, nothing special. It's what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, however, the breakfast was very good (at least a 4 star standard) the following morning. The only strange thing with it was that the bar doesn't served bar food or snacks. It's a full restaurant serving 3 / 4 course meals. It's got a few awards on the wall outside which is great. It just doesn't fit when the rest of the place is just a 3 star hotel! When I asked for bar food in the bar, the server was abrupt and said in a stern voice "this is the menu". If you are looking for a cheap, good quality hotel with an excellent breakfast that doesn't do bar food then this is the place for you!

Was a really nice place. Very comfortable in a great location and very nice staff. It was also really clean and maintained. Highly recommended not to pricy and great bar to.

Great stay here — staff very warm and guest focused — they could not have been more helpful — Eoghan and Yvonne at receptions so welcoming and helpful. Bedroom spotless. Food is excellent. I ate there the evening I arrived and had a salmon dish which just melted in the mouth. Had Eggs Benedict next morning for breakfast. Compliments to a super chef. 5 min walk to town, if even. Great lace to stay I have to stay.

Hotel near the city center with parking. Room limit level cleanliness. And TV, bedside lamp do not work.

Good hotel, close to the tourist area, with private parking and friendly staff. What is less good, to say something, the rooms a little left, mostly it seems by using.

Charged an extra 60 euros when we got here. It was in the small print. On their small print. We have the voucher and it is not stated in our small print on our voucher. False advertising. We have two young children and it was a very rare break away with my partner. We are still sitting in the lobby two hours later and now they want us to leave if we are not happy.
. As we have said we will go to the small claims court.

The food is amazing but, the service by one of the waiters was inconsistent and lacking. Gazpacho is cold soup and when I asked what it was he went to check and then said tomato and peppers and some other veg but, never mentioned that it's cold which would have deterred me. We weren't handed a full menu whereas other waiters handed other customers full menus… Dark haired English guy. Just needs a lot more training. Well done to Maria on the food! Excellent and a great step up from zuni. This is my second time here and last time it was excellent service and food, unfortunately not this time!

Lobby area, Lounge and bar are really high end. Food was great and some nice lesser known beers. Rooms were basic but kept spotless. Staff were friendly and free parking for guests.

Good location, clean and pleasant but not enough staff on duty.

Pros: It's close to town, parking is ample. Cons: The room wasn't very clean (fingerprints and smudges on the walls, mold/mildew in shower, carpet felt dirty), the Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, and breakfast is not included.
