This place was very comfortable and the staff were extremely nice. The rooms are big and the shower is great. Security was friendly and very ready to assist. In short, you will feel welcome here. The gym has a great view, and while small, you can do your basic weight exercises and treadmill walk.
An issue I had was that some of the towels and pillowcases had noticeable black or yellow stains on them, and no changes were made over the 4 nights I stayed. This is true of the towels offered at the gym, and can be worse as I saw some with black fragments sticking to them. This is quite a big misstep for basic standards by a hotel of this reputation, so I do hope this aspect of cleanliness is improved on. It ruins an otherwise great experience at this hotel.

The hotel is amazing. The price is quite cheap. The lobby is big and comfortable. All the staff are very friendly. We lost our card to enter the room, but the receptionist was very kind and very helpful. The room is really cool. Nice pool. For food there are many variants, soto, rawon with lots of meat, salad, yogurt, fish, chicken. Very complete. The bread is also delicious. Next time I will stay at this hotel again. My family really likes staying at this hotel.

First of all, I don’t understand why they have so many five-star reviews! This is the worst experience I’ve had at any of their chain hotels. The facilities are fairly comprehensive, but the dining experience is extremely poor and does not meet the standards expected for a hotel of this star rating! The most disappointing aspect of the hotel is the overall soundproofing—the noise from the sound system in the banquet hall can be heard several floors away! If you value peace and quiet, I would not recommend staying here.

I had an exceptional stay at Grand Swiss Belhotel Darmo in Surabaya. The hotel itself is top-notch, with impeccable facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and made sure all our needs were met. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless, and the staff's professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It was one of the best hotel to stay in Surabaya! The staff were helpful at most of the time, I had to put my birthday cake into the chiller an hour early before I suppose to check in, and the staff allow me to do early check in and the room was great! Spacious! Although the bathroom fan was not working (which I forgot to tell), but, overall it was great, comfortable and I had a pleasant stay, the breakfast was nice as well with various type of foods and beverages.
I'd like to highlight one of small things that I actually feel that the staff were helpful, it is about the bday cake which has to be in chiller for the whole time, and even when I checked out, I asked them to keep the cake because I have to go places and will be back in the evening, and yet, they're fine with it, which I think not all the hotels are able to accomodate such request especially after the guest have checked out.
So, thank you so much for the hospitality and, I wish to be back here soon!
PS : I'd suggest for room phone replacement, I'm a bit worried because the phone in my room was bigger than usual phone, this might related to overcharging, so I had to unplug the phone from the charger during my stay.

Good price for a 5 star hotel.
Central location near zoo between the 2-3 main shopping malls (pakuwon, pakuwon city, tungjungan) in the city.
Closest mall are royal plaza and golden city mall.

Rooms: The TV, despite it's hi-tech claim, got debugging first time I turned on. No bathtub? Really? 5 star?
No bathrobe?
Facilities : I think 4-star hotel in Surabaya at least has sauna facilities, so I get disappointed learning that this hotel doesn't have it.
Food: welcome drinks are yum. But let's see what would it be for breakfast. Hopefully not as disappointing as prev hotel.

I had a great stay at the hotel, food was good. Room was good. Staff was excellent. But still I have to mention a few staffmembers. Sila in the lobby, Citra at the restaurant, excellent. And the other lady at the restaurant who checks u in, forgot her name, also excellent. I want to thank u all for a pleasant stay. I will be back and I will recommend this hotel to others. Thank u!

This is our second stay at the hotel since the last one gave lasting impression for our family. We had long stay for 4D3N and the staff’s hospitality is top tier. Facility are great and bedroom is very clean, and breakfast are amazing with different set of menu everyday. Additionally, Putra gave us a special complimentary menu on our last day, completing the wholesome experience we had during our stay. Definitely will come here each time we visit Surabaya!

I still remember that it was 22:00 p. M. When I first arrived in Surabaya. The experience of staying in a solo hotel is terrible. In this comparison, it's great to stay in this hotel. As an affordable five-star hotel, this hotel is very good. It is located in the city center. The front desk and lobby staff are always smiling and very professional. However, there are still many areas that need to be improved (such as the flow of the shower head is too large, the height is difficult to adjust, the wardrobe door is not easy to open, etc. ).
It should be noticed that Mr. Tizar is a very enthusiastic hotel outlet manager. He told me that I had been staying for a week, so they would like to provide a special breakfast for me and my boss. I'm surprised that he can remember me. I am always out of the situation. He is very enthusiastic and kind, and good at providing emotional value. I'm very happy to chat with him. Although I don't understand a lot of things.
To be honest, I'm reluctant to leave Surabaya. This trip is a good experience for me. If I come to Surabaya again, I will choose this hotel.

I love this hotel really☺️it’s a good choice because the price is acceptable for me and its service is excellent than any hotel I live in China. (am not degrading because I am Chinese and am telling the truth)
The service here is extremely great. Worth for staying.

The hotel has a great service/value ratio. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the temperature well regulated. The only downturn is the ambiance musique playing in the corridors that you can hear in the rooms.
The breakfast buffet is really great and the staff is really nice and helpful.

We stayed a night at this hotel. All staff is helpful, friendly, greet with smiles on their faces. Ika, attended to us when we had our breakfast. She is exceptional, even volunteered to assist us with desserts, offered fresh juice too. Happened to meet the chef topping up fried rice when we were choosing the sweet sauce chicken as we preferred more bones, thus help us with it. We would definitely returned if we are coming to Surabaya again.

Stay at this hotel for a week. Have a pleasant experience. The room is comfortable, especially the bed and pillow. Most of the staff are friendly and really attentive. They served a good coffee, we can choose any kind of coffee while having breakfast. One of must try menu on breakfast is the French Toast! superb good!
