Reviews of Mercure Surabaya Grand Miram
Loved our stay at Mercure Grand Mirama Surabaya. I came with my husband and our toddler, and surprisingly, this hotel is very kid-friendly. There are a few cute photo spots, and near the souvenir center, they even provide some kids’ toys that can be used for free.
The facilities are quite decent, considering the hotel has been around for almost 20 years. The staff at Trimurti Restaurant were also very friendly and quick to help whenever I needed to warm up my child’s food.
One small downside for me was that the room walls weren’t very soundproof, so sometimes we could still hear noises from other rooms, especially when there were events like weddings or engagements happening at the hotel.
Also, the AC in our room wasn’t super cold; not uncomfortable or hot, just a personal preference for me and my family.
Overall, definitely worth the price, and the central location makes it really convenient for sightseeing and exploring local food spots around Surabaya.
An issue during checkin, due to a difference between the booking app and hotel management. Stayed two nights, but hotel card did not work for the lifts and room on the second day, a classic hotel issue. Hotel guests were not prioritised for car parking. Needed to parked in the back and walked a bit far to the lobby. They seemed to prioritise car parking for events (e. G. Wedding), instead. Although, other stuffs were good. Nice clean room, delightful breakfast with variety of menu, nice pool, friendly staff. Overall a nice hotel, but the previously mentioned issues should be addressed by the hotel. Thank you.

Had a great 1-night stay at Mercure Grand Mirama! I was pleasantly upgraded to a renovated room. The Guest Experience (GE) team gave a wonderful warm welcome with a sweet message written on the bathroom glass door, along with some snacks and welcome drinks featuring a personalized "Selamat Datang" print.
The room itself was comfortable, and both the AC and shower worked perfectly.
Breakfast was also delicious with a wide variety of choices.
The swimming pool is quite spacious, but I noticed that many tiles on the pool floor have started to come off. I hope the management can repair this soon to avoid any injuries, as it's the only minor drawback to an otherwise perfect stay.
On the plus side, parking is very spacious. The hotel's location is also excellent—surrounded by many restaurants and cafes, and very close to several malls in Surabaya. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back to stay again!
