Stayed for about 3 weeks. Enjoy the quiet place. Cafes and restaurants around it and a good location. I hope they will put shower pod or something so the water will not splash everywhere. The bed is cozy and the place is clean. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Unacceptable Lack of Basic Amenities and Services.
Dear Mooi House,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the shocking absence of basic amenities and services during my recent stay at your hotel. The complete lack of towels, tissue, and running water in my room not only caused immense inconvenience but also reflects a flagrant disregard for guest comfort and a failure to meet the most basic standards of hospitality.
Upon entering my room, I was astounded to find that there were no towels provided. The absence of this essential amenity is completely unacceptable and represents a severe oversight on the part of your hotel's staff. Without towels, I was unable to freshen up or maintain basic hygiene, which significantly detracted from the quality of my stay. The house staff said that it will be ready at 7 pm as it also happens the day before.
Furthermore, the absence of tissue paper in the room only compounded the issue. It is inconceivable that a hotel of your claimed caliber would overlook such a basic necessity. The lack of tissue paper not only inconvenienced me but also demonstrated a blatant lack of attention to detail and a failure to anticipate the needs of your guests.
As if the absence of towels and tissue were not distressing enough, I was appalled to discover that there was no running water in my room.

Not a fans for this place. With the price, you wouldnt get amenities which you usually get in a much cheaper hotels (like shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, welcome drink etc). The room is not sound proof, at the time I was there a family with a lot of children's also stayed and I can tell you I cant sleep well with how the children scream and running around knocking everyone else's door. I dont know how the owner of the place not reprimand the children parents because they made loud sounds that you can hear from 1st floor through 3rd floor (they rented 2 rooms, which they didnt close the door and so whatever things they do, the sound is very disturbing).
Other things I found bad is the Wi-Fi, sometimes it connected, other times it make you mad. I prefer using my mobile data while staying here.
The room is clean, sure, but with how the situation and everything else I recommend you all to seek other hotels with cheaper price but more service and quiet, undisturbed room. In here, you will only get less than what oyo or reddoors hotel give to you.

One thing that we love about staying here is that they have smart TV so we can watch Netflix! BUT… the Wi-Fi in room 209 is terrible it’s frustrating. The signal is terrible as well so we have hard time to use the internet with and without Wi-Fi, couldnt work and do much thing in the room, even watching the Netflix. We were originally from room 205, the Wi-Fi and signal are great there, but we had to change room because the drainage let out smelly odor and eventhough we’ve closed the bathroom door, the odor still filled out the main room.
Another thing that made us couldnt sleep well was the position of the aircon, we got sprayed by the aircon so we had to move the bed, and the lamp from corridor hurt my eyes. Maybe it would be better if the bed position is reversed, so the head near the door.
The other thing is the water heater, it only works halfway when showering! And it makes disturbing noise after using the toilet.
Other than that, the room is clean, service is good, location is great and the decor is nice.

The best hotel I ever stayed. Friendly staff, u can enjoy Pelipur Lara coffe in front of the hotel (I suggest Baileys Coffee! ), very comfortable bed, spacious room, retro monochrome design, super clean, Spacious bathroom, I can see how much the effort of the owner to make this hotel, they watch to the detail. They provide dispenser outside the room, hot and cold water available, and they provide two cup and a pitcher, easy to make a tea or coffee (bring the tea n coffee by urself of course). And the water heater work very well, I dont have to wait too long for enjoy the hot water. I wish I can give you 10 stars!

I wish my home is not in surabaya so I can rent a room here 😂😂 it surprised me they had smart TV so I can binge Netflixing in my room. They also had a coffee shop and many restaurant in their neighborhood. The front lady was friendly. The vibe was good. It's suitable for a long stay.
