The stay here was part of 'my quest' for the meaning of life. I think it's 'you only live once'. When I first arrived at the room, it smelled a bit like the Indonesian herbal massage oil (found the English term for this online — Bee brand medicated oil). I didn't mind the smell at all tho — in fact I quite like it. Had chicken satays (ordered for the medium size as there were only 'medium' and 'small' — the 'medium' was more like large! ), a bowl of tom yum goong and a cup of americano. Dinner cost IDR 150K. All in all, it was a great stay. The hotel offered a lot for a three-star (whoever did the 'starring') hotel.

Great Value, Excellent Location, and Top-Notch Service.
"My experience at Quest Hotel Surabaya was highly satisfying.
The location is excellent—right in the city center, and it was easy to access a nearby church and many restaurants on foot. The room was surprisingly spacious for a 3-star hotel.
The food was also a highlight: delicious breakfast with good variety, and the event catering (coffee break and lunch) was excellent. Especially for the rujak manis (served during coffee break), tastes delicious and fresh.
Regarding parking, while there is limited on-site parking due to the hotel's compact size, this inconvenience is easily solved and managed thanks to the convenient and efficient valet parking service provided by the hotel staff.
A special appreciation must go to Ibu Yulia Santoso. Her professionalism and excellent hospitality truly elevated our entire experience.
