Wyndham Surabaya

Went to wyndham surabaya 7 yrs ago before covid-19, today we are back to this hotel and the hospitality are still one of the best. Even some of room facilities are urgently need of maintenance but overall still good. They also offer scheduled-shuttle to tunjungan plaza 1-2x times a day (if im not mistaken)

Don’t stay here. The lobby gives a false impression—it doesn’t reflect how the rooms actually look or feel. After getting my key and heading up, I was greeted by that old, musty carpet smell, heavy with mold. Stepping into the room, the mold odor was even worse, and the air-conditioning was far too weak. I called the front desk, and while they sent a repairman, he admitted that most other rooms are at the same temperature. For the price Wyndham is charging, you’re much better off choosing one of the many nearby alternatives in the area.

Hotel was good and In a nice location! The food at cafe was excellent.
Walking distance to the mall and cafes. Even if you want to party, a few clubs are around the corner.

Attended an event at Wyndham Hotel today and the experience was disappointing from the start. There was a long queue outside the entrance, but no clear direction or assistance — the security staff appeared confused and unresponsive.
Upon reaching the lobby, we found out there was no dedicated valet service. Instead, the security guards were doubling as valet attendants, leading to poor traffic coordination. The driveway could have easily accommodated two lanes, but without proper management, vehicles had to wait for a guard to manually move other parked cars just to exit.
This caused a major traffic jam outside the hotel, creating a stressful and chaotic arrival experience. Overall, I would not recommend hosting or attending events at this hotel unless they seriously improve their guest handling and traffic management.

I like the lobby. So luxurious. The room was comfy, got a bathtub inside. Good view from room (pool+city). Location was great! Breakfast was tasty with a good variations of food. The sad part was the jacuzzi still under maintenance.

The staff at Wyndham Surabaya were exceptional the service was second to none, the location close to everything. The hotel needs some TLC and the food selection needs some tweaking. All in all a pleasant stay very comfortable beds. Thank you!

Nice cozy place to stay. It is also clean. The parking lot is a bit cramped though for it size. The menu is okay. Nothing special. The room is okay. But the price is a bit steep for its class. Perhaps because it is in the middle of the city in one of the main road. Beware on peak time the traffic could be very heavy. For those who drink there is a wine station here on second floor which has nice service. Worth to try if you are happened to visit here.

Everything was good with the hotel except for the smoking lounge location. For some reason, the smoking section is located next to the restaurant in the lobby and we can smell the smoke in the lobby. The lobby is huge but lacks seating for guests. Everything else was very good.

I recently stayed at Wyndham Surabaya and overall, it was a pleasant experience.
• Location: Excellent! The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, making it easy to access shopping and dining options.
• Room: The room was very spacious and comfortable, a definite highlight of my stay.
• Breakfast: The breakfast was average—nothing particularly memorable.
• Swimming Pool: The water in the pool was quite cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable for swimming.
• Shower and Amenities: The shower had good water pressure, and the towels and amenities provided were of good quality.
• Wi-Fi: The internet connection was reliable and fast, which is always a plus.
• Lift: I loved the elevators! They have glass panels, allowing you to enjoy the view outside while going up or down.
Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, especially if you prioritize location and spacious rooms. A few improvements in breakfast and pool temperature would make the experience even better.

Good hotel with upgraded furniture and amenities like newer 50 inch smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. Although some are still not renovated yet like the wallpaper and carpet (looks older than the rest). Also the bathub are somewhat non functional and bath foam are empty (calling room services to replace it is fast though).
The food itself is good but lack variety compared to other 5 stars hotel, and the restaurant still allows smoking indoor although separated a bit far.

The room was very spacious and there was plenty of room to move. However the rooms need updating.
The breakfast had a nice egg station but it can have more variety. The staff is friendly however difficult to communicate if you don’t speak Indonesian. While I enjoyed my stay and it was good enough for a two night stay I am not too sure if it is a five star hotel.

Located in the city center and on a one-way street. The hotel is big and luxurious. The lobby is also spacious. However, the security is less sensitive, car parking is a bit difficult.
Spacious rooms. Spacious bathroom with bathtub. Complete toiletries. Mini refrigerator and electric kettle complete with sugar coffee and tea sachets. Slipper available. There is a fairly spacious work desk. The view is very beautiful from above, especially at night. The bed is very comfortable, spacious and soft.
The breakfast menu is quite complete but doesn't suit my taste.

Please do not stay here. We stayed here today, we drank the faucet water for gargling, and we ended up in the hospital. Their water is so dirty, and when we asked for ample compensation, even just a refund for our room. They refused. Do not stay here! It really is disgusting.

My stay here was almost perfect. I genuinely love this hotel since the room is clean, comfy, spacious and homy. It would be perfect if only there is no issue with the hot water at night.
