Check in went smooth with good services and good staffs.
But, we had been arranged to third floor. As soon got out of the elevator, the corridor is full with smell of fungus. Black mold. Jamur hitam. Berjamur parah. See the pictures, many black fungus on the wall and the ceiling. No air purifier, no dehumidifier, bad air circulation. The room also just centerized ac with bad air circulation.
The bed condition, different type with other hotels. Closely to futon japanese type of bed that put on the.
Ordinary bed. Under the futon, we can see a lot of dust and white dirty marks.
On 11pm, nightmare came. Our rooms are just next to the nightclub building. The sound of the bass and large speaker was really like a mchine gun. Berisik. Cannot sleep peacefully. Maybe people who go to the club, suit with the room, but for a family, please arrange to the opposite side of the hotel. Better than the room next to nightclub, this side of the room just to bear with the sound of the traffic light, tot tot tot, 24hours all the day. I don't recommend to people who sensitive with the sounds during the sleeping period.
Breakfast was good enough but the chef asked us to rate on the spot with mentioning his name on the review. Is it necessary? Forced us to review 5 stars on traveloka.
We requested to change the rooms on the night, and the receptionist asked to wait until the next day. And still need to wait until 11am.

I stayed here for 2 nights.
The room is clean and the location is good.
The buffet breakfast was pretty decent. But the pastries could have been better. The raisin roll taste like stale/ rancid butter was used.
Service was good, the waitress Ratna was pleasant and very accomadating.

Have great experience breakfast with lot of menu, but my room not have good view and one of pillow not have a cover. If in emergency you need coffee in the night no coffee or tea in the room, but my room near with refill water. The staff is good with their hospitality.

Fine for one night stay if you want to visit Bromo. We arranged transport from Bromo to this hotel via Medakiripura waterfall. More of a business type of hotel but it suited us well as we had a flight the nexdt day. Not an extensive buffet but all good for brief stop over. Rooms are small but this is more of a budget hotel. Efficient front desk.

The room are clean, the food are great but maybe the bubur ayam needs a little improvement on the taste because not only the broth, but also the porridge itself a little bit plain. But overall are good, and thank you tou Mr. Choir for accompany me and my friends well and good.

Nice budgetary hotel in the central city of Surabaya. Located exactly in front of the famous Dyandra Convention Centre. Walking distance to the most legendary shopping mall in Surabaya, Tunjungan Plaza. Banks and offices building are sorrounding the hotel. All the things inside the hotel as Ibis standard. Recommended for bussines and vacation travellers to Surabaya.

I had a pleasant stay at Ibis Surabaya City Center. The location is very strategic, right in the heart of Surabaya, making it easy to access various places. I truly enjoyed the delicious food served during my stay. The service was also exceptional—special thanks to Mr. Irfan and Mr. Choir for their assistance and hospitality. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Surabaya!

Good stay at Ibis Surabaya and very seamless stay. Check in process was very smooth and assisted by Bu Melinda. She also made sure my room is ready on time and calls my room whether I need anything else to assist during my stay.
The room is small (Ibis standard) by sufficient because I was only in Surabaya for biz trip hence doesnt stay much in the hotel during the day.
Didnt try the breakfast because I was up early and need to attend meeting. Overall, very good stay and friendly staff of Ibu Melinda made my day wonderful. Definitely will stay again.

The hotel is good, breakfast is good. I dont have any issues with the services. It is in the middle of city center. You can walk to Tunjungan Mall. There is an indomart downstair, maybe 1 min walk. You can get all the neccesities. Sovia was nice to greet us during the breakfast.

The hotel is in the center of the city, near almost everything and a bus stop. It is close to Alun Alun, the old town of Surabaya, and Tunjungan Romansa. If you want to go to the mall, there's a Tunjungan Plaza 1 2 3 4 5 6.
It was worth the money. The staff was kind and helpful. There's also an airport shuttle if you want to go to the Juanda Airport.

I didn't expect too much for the facilities at Ibis Surabaya City Center, I thought it would be the same as other Ibis. It turned out to be a 3-star with a 4-star feel. Starting from the neat and spacious room, sufficient drinking water even placed dispensers on each floor, surprisingly the breakfast was quite varied. There is an egg corner that makes me happy. The location in the middle of the city and close to Tunjungan Plaza is an added value. Welcome snacks and late check out are a bonus.

One of the best hotels in Surabaya. It is not that expensive and the hotel rooms are good for the price. Strategic location and the most important thing is their excellent service and the staffs are very humble especially Ms. Melinda. Keep it up.

This hotel is centrally located just a few minutes walk from the huge Tunjungan Mall, Staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are basic and have everything you need. Breakfast is basic, but very good for the price paid. Excellent value for the price you pay! Can't get a better hotel in this price range in this neighborhood.
