Strategic location, if ure hungry just come down and walk about 5 minutes to wing lok. Its a kopitiam resto. In front of the hotel is seafood resto or else u can order from online food app 😆
We booked for two nights but we had to cancel the booking due to the demonstration. We tried to get a refund, but they said not possible due to the procedure. However, that time was out of ordinary. The demonstration was huge. What kind of persons in the right mind would approach the center of the demonstration venue 🙄. Anyway, we haven’t experienced the hotel, but we did experience the service.

Stayed here for 5 days last week and had a fairly good experience overall. The room was comfortable and clean, with enough space to move around. It also came with a small refrigerator and a sofa, which were nice to have. They also offered a welcoming drink that felt refreshing in Surabaya’s hot weather. The staff were friendly and helpful, often standing by to open the door and assisting with our bags during check-in and check-out.
The location is good as it’s close to Tunjungan Plaza Mall and not too far from a hospital, court, and university, making it convenient for various activities. I also noticed they have several meeting rooms and a ballroom on the 2nd floor, plus a restaurant on the 9th floor that can be accessed from the 8th floor.
However, the lift was quite small, it fits only around four or five people at most. When carrying luggage, it could only fit two or three, and it also felt a bit warm inside. The Wi-Fi connection was quite slow during my stay, which made it hard to get work done. I also noticed a slight leak in the sink that made some of my stuff wet when using it, and there was a slight smell from the toilet even though it was clean. Hopefully they can fix those soon.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you plan to walk around and eat nearby, most food stalls, street vendors, or small restaurants don’t accept QRIS, so it’s better to bring some cash.
Overall, it’s still a decent place to stay with helpful staff and a convenient location.
