Cheap Hotels in Surakarta

We traveled to this place during our three week journey through indonesia. We are from germany. The Host is super friendly and has very good recommendations.

A highly recommend place to stay and got many praises. Stayed here for few nights and the vibe here was homey.

Our group had a blast staying at FIM by Zigna during 2025 Christmas holiday. Value for money with great service. They even organized a Christmas eve dinner event, complimentary for all guests.

Staying at Zigna Kampung Batik Laweyan was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and cozy, the facilities were complete, and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

On my 2nd stay, room was comfortable, spacious, clean, and bright.
Love the room tone and interior, and I appreciated the balcony and quiet area.
Staffs were helpful and friendly.
Service was great.

Like most Bobopods. A strategic location, cleanliness is well maintained, friendly staff, complete facilities including reliable Wi-Fi, satisfying hot water and good housekeeping service.

After staying at Bobopods in Jakarta Kota Tua, Bali, and Malang, now I finally visited the Koala in Solo for my solo trip.
Check-in and check-out are always efficient and smooth.

As the name says, Petit Boutique Hotel, it is a petit hotel, probably best for short term travelers who will not ask for various amenities or services.

Stayed here for couple of days, the room is quite narrow but clean. It's located closed to iconic pasar gede.

I were once stayed at Moxy Bandung.
I am sorry to tell you this but that was bad experience because tho the hotel ambiance was great the room was tiny and as a non smoking room it smell smoke.

We stayed for one night at Moxy Solo as a family during our vacation, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

The room and all inside are clean, the service is excellent, and the location is good. The price is reasonable. All worth it.

Good place for going to solo CFD or waiting for patient in Kasih Ibu Hospital. There are many foods around to so you aren't bothered looking for one.

Towel in the room (black towel) are quite rough and scratchy.

Nice and cozy hotel, located in centre of City. 4 years old.
Not far from MBZ mosque, Pura Mangkunagaran, pasar Klewer, and Slamet Riyadi road and many local atraction.

Such a beautiful hidden gem in Solo! The place feels calm and elegant with strong Javanese vibes. Every corner is perfect for photos.

Best price, clean, worth to try if you want to stay rest and have a travelling to solo.

Its a very strategic place for backpacking to solo it right at the heart of solo and on sundays there is a car free day on the street behind it!
But since its cheap dont expect 5 star rooms.

We stayed for few days, got a very nice room with a great view of the city. The room is very spacious, the pillow is great, the bed is big. The room is also clean and not smelly.

A budget hotel in front of Manahan Stadium Surakarta. Overall experience was good, check in and check out run smoothly but you need 100k for the deposit.

Nice little hotel in the centre of Solo. The front is wheelchair accessible with no steps. There are lifts. The room I'm in has a walk-in shower with only a very small step to stop drips; very nice.

Had a really nice stay at Amarelo Hotel! The smoking room was just as described, and the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful — they even let us check in early, which was such a plus.

Lovely hotel, very antique. The stained glass are a very lovely touch to the overall decor of the place. The staffs are all very kind and friendly.

The hotel is located in a beautiful historical building, not too many people stayed here during my visit, so it is quite and peaceful.
