Amarelo Hotel Solo

Highly recommend this hotel. Its strategic location is close to shopping centers, Kasunanan, and the city square. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped. Five-star service. All staff are friendly. Food — since we stayed during fasting, we only tried the sahur menu, which was fried rice and mixed rice. It's okay, though not particularly special.

Wifi does NOT work in the room.
Edit: Wi-Fi signal appeared after review, none the less it was very slow and not worth connecting. They have great people though.

Let's do best to worst. Service is decent. They offer free cleaning along with very, and I mean very, cheap room service. Beef burger and fries for only 5 australian dollars (IDR 42.500)?! Seems like a scam! What is a scam though is the ice cream. They put cheese in vanilla ice cream with chocolate? What the hell?! Unless those are mini ice cubes, I am not eating that garbage. Anyway, for the location, it's quite genius. Placed right in the middle of a tourist area. There are many many tourist places in here, which are very walkable from this hotel. However, I think they should really work on more isolated places for a more resort-like feeling. Now for the worst part; the rooms. They are absolute garbage. Have you seen the ants and bugs in here? There are so much, it's like they just rained in a crack on the rooftop. Kid you not, there are multiple cracks in the rooms. One in the corner, one in the table, multiple in the side of the mirrors, etc. Not to mention, the toilets flush improperly! You have to have a metabolism of a moth if you want to flush these toilets. On my first day, I didn't know the toilet was broken after I peed. Second day later the bathroom smelled like the taste of expired milk if it was made into a gas. Also, the AC was leaking like it was raining tacos from out of the sky, said my child. No wonder why it's so cheap.

Cozy place, excelent service. Will be visiting again next time. Thank you Amarelo… love it.

The place is very strategic and the night is lively. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. I will stay here again.

I couldn't fault the place. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were all very nice especially Mai Sandi Barista who worked in the rooftop bar.
The location was very central.

He rooms are cool and very spacious for such an affordable price. The food in the restaurant is also varied at cheap prices. Very strategic location, opposite the hotel there is a traditional market, cloth, shoe, bag and other shops. The sidewalks are also wide and pedestrian-friendly access. There are also free bicycles for morning exercise.

We've booked 3 rooms in April for business trip from Kediri. It is a lovely hotel with strategic location. Thanx for Mr. Ali from FO who confirmed my welcome slice cake with his hospitality. And Mr. Alga at resto who does her best service when we had a yummy breakfast. Check in and check out were smooth with the help from F. O Team, We'll repeat stay here if we go to Solo.

For low budget, this hotel was very amazing. We've got a biggest room than the similar hotels. The facilities such as AC, hot water and television was good. Clean room with big bathroom. The hospitality and staffs was good. I will recommend to all of you while you're in Solo. Low budget doesn't makes you can't get the better, this hotel prove it! I love this hotel, and the City! ❤️❤️❤️

Center city, big room, resto cafe excellent, and good variations menu's.
