The staffs are so polite and professional. The room is also amazing for us. One thing I want to add, this place is very strategic, it is located perfectly where every popular destination is reachable within approximately 2 km. You can reach a destination like train station, pura Mangkunegaran, Solo Paragon mall, and may culinary destination within 2 km which a great thing. The atmosphere is also unique because it is the first Sahid hotel before they expand and having branch everywhere, it has a kind of old and classy vibes with Javanese architecture and culture appears on every part of the building.
There is always room for improvement which is why I have some suggestions for the management. The first one is about the hot water indicator, in our room there is no clear sign om which one is the hot water button and which one is the cold water button so we kinda confused at first. Also about the noise from the other room, at the 4th floor we still hear some noise from another room when we walk in the hallway. We think it would be better if the charging port is provided near the bed to make it easier for us to charge our phone. The other issue is about the lamp panel control, it is kinda tricky for us to turn of either one of the lamp due to the panel control so it would be better next time if there is an instruction about the panel control. The other issue we have is with the TV which is not a smart TV yet, maybe it can be upgraded.
Had a really great stay at this 5-star hotel. The room was clean, modern, and super comfy — especially the bed! Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Only downside with the Wi-Fi — a bit slow at times. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for comfort without breaking the bank. Would stay here again!

The hotel is old but has character, so it feels authentic. Location is okay and the staff are friendly. The room is spacious, which is great. The only issue is it’s quite humid even with the AC on, so it takes time to feel comfortable. If you don’t mind old + humid, it’s a solid, no-frills stay for the price.
