Ibis Styles Solo

Really enjoyed staying in this clean, modern and stylish hotel. The staff were impeccable in their service, the food is very good and the musical entertainment in the bar was sophisticated and atmospheric. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone – the location is excellent too.

I stayed here for 1 night from 1 to 2 June. When I arrived in this city late in the evening on 1 June, the security guard in front of Novotel kindly guided me and moved my luggage to the ibis lobby. (Thank you pak)
During the stay, the staff treated me very kindly. Perhaps because I'm Korean, almost all the guests looked at me curiously lol.
I think the room is the largest ibis hotel I've ever visited. My friend who lives in Solo says it was a 4-star hotel a long time ago, which is probably why the room is big. I'm an Accor Platinum tier member, the staff upgraded my room, and the welcome food was already set up in the room. My room even had a great view, with 2 of the 4 sides of the room being windows.
There is a billiard table in front of the lobby, and the pool seems to be shared with Novotel. There are numerous cafes across the street, and Indomaret is within walking distance of the hotel. Everyone in the city knows this hotel, so you will not get lost.
The bottom line is that this hotel offers a better experience than the average ibis Styles brand's accommodation quality at a really crazy (in a good way) price. I always stay at The Royal Surakarta Heritage or Grand Mercure Solo Baru every time I visit Solo, so it's a shame that I haven't experienced Novotel attached to this hotel, and I'm thinking of doing it on my next visit.

Here's why I'm giving 1 star:
I booked a room at Ibis Solo from May 29th to June 1st, 2025. I checked in on May 29th at 1 PM. At the front desk, Dina told me check-in wasn't until 2 PM. But then I saw other people checking in at the same time as me, and they were already getting their keys and going to their rooms. Whatever, I didn't say anything, I just chilled in my car. At 2 PM, I went back to the front desk, and Dina still hadn't assigned my room because she was prioritizing other guests who checked in after me. Again, I stayed quiet, no complaints. Dina then seemed flustered trying to find a ready room for me and finally gave me room 337 on the 3rd floor. I was already tired, disappointed, and felt really disrespected by Dina. To make things worse, room 337's AC wasn't working at all. I felt like this room was just a leftover or a "junk" room. My wife immediately called to complain and ask for a room change, but Dina refused, saying she was too lazy to deal with it. My family and I were super uncomfortable in that hot room 337. My kid couldn't sleep until midnight because it was so hot. My wife even ended up sleeping on the floor because of the heat. This front desk staff, Dina, totally ruined my family vacation.

We only stayed one night here, and the experience was a good one. Comfortable rooms, good service from the staff. There was a good spread for breakfast compared to other Ibis Styles hotels we've been to and shout out to service staff Nico, who served us very patiently and diligently. Well done to Nico and the rest of the team at Ibis Styles Solo! We will be back for a longer stay in future!

The lobby hotel are great and warm welcome from miss nixin and colleagues, arrived at room the room are clean and tidy cold with comfy pillows blanket and proper size bed, and the other experience is when taking some sambal for my breakfast mostly in other hotel they do some (fake) sambal with no taste and not spicy at all in here I got many choice and its very delightful mixed with my friedrice and cooked live with their own chef infront of me. Such an amazing experience visiting solo this year and with this hotel’s ❤️❤️❤️

Comfortable Hotel, Clean, close to Solo's culinar tourisme place. Hotel interior design is excellent. Good Hotel facility with Gym, Swimmming Pool. Room service is good, clean. Breafast at restaurant is good with variative javaness food. All of those are serviced by humble and responsive Staff.

Arrived in the morning at Ibis fortunatelly we are allowed to do early check in. Staff are helpfull & friendly. Got best view room 1041. Glad that Ibis provides roll pillow. Breakfast menu is bit salty for my tounge. Hot water can be served based on request.

The service are very warm, and I feel so pleasure to be here. When I just tried to request omelete with cheese and they just respon me with "yes maam I will make it, but would you like to wait for a few minute" and yes i'll be waiting. And voila when it come to my mouth its melted and chewy from moza cheese. And dont forget for the room, it was clean, neat and comfortable! Thank you.

I’ve been staying for 5 night. It’s one of the best hotel I’ve stayed. The breakfast service was superb from Alzura. Thanks to him, he made everything easier and provide what we needed without me asking. As he already knew what we need every morning like a cup of coffee and even our coffee order.

We spent 2 nights here for business trip which we do every Month… everything was Excellent. Thank you so much ibi solo. Will definitely Come back … its actually a good hotel to stay with family coz the hotel is connected to Novhotel pool that has kids area as well. Great job.

I had a long stay in Ibis Style Solo. It was the very best experience so far I have had. I am impressed with the cleaning staff that did the job very well for my room, stay clean and fragrant, also the front office is friendly. Fitness facilities are also well provided. I and my husband enjoy staying there and will be back when I travel back to Solo.

Affordable price, big room, strategic location in mid town.
Complete with gym and pool for kids to swim.
What need to improve is the breakfast menu and taste. I can not complain but it can be great if improved.
