Here's why I'm giving 1 star:
I booked a room at Ibis Solo from May 29th to June 1st, 2025. I checked in on May 29th at 1 PM. At the front desk, Dina told me check-in wasn't until 2 PM. But then I saw other people checking in at the same time as me, and they were already getting their keys and going to their rooms. Whatever, I didn't say anything, I just chilled in my car. At 2 PM, I went back to the front desk, and Dina still hadn't assigned my room because she was prioritizing other guests who checked in after me. Again, I stayed quiet, no complaints. Dina then seemed flustered trying to find a ready room for me and finally gave me room 337 on the 3rd floor. I was already tired, disappointed, and felt really disrespected by Dina. To make things worse, room 337's AC wasn't working at all. I felt like this room was just a leftover or a "junk" room. My wife immediately called to complain and ask for a room change, but Dina refused, saying she was too lazy to deal with it. My family and I were super uncomfortable in that hot room 337. My kid couldn't sleep until midnight because it was so hot. My wife even ended up sleeping on the floor because of the heat. This front desk staff, Dina, totally ruined my family vacation. Every time I come to Solo, I always stay at Ibis Style – you can check my history on your computer – and this is the first time I've been so disappointed because of how Dina treated us. On the afternoon of May 30th, I had my wife call to ask a male front desk staff member who was on duty to change our room, and he immediately gave us room 340, which had cold AC. I'm still staying in room 340 until check-out on June 1st, and I'm finally enjoying this vacation. I'll definitely remember this front desk staff, Dina, at Ibis Solo. And a warning to anyone planning to stay here: DO NOT ACCEPT ROOM 337 BECAUSE THE AC DOESN'T WORK.
