Good hotel in Cuenca. Approximately 15 minutes by foot to the historic center. Safe and quiet area. Rooms are nice, but you can hear all the noise from the hall and stairway.

It was a nice stay. It did exceed my expectations. I’d be back. Food kinda pricey. Very close to the tram. Breakfast is ok for the price.

I was a bit skeptical about this place but it was a real charmer. The service was impeccable and they had the courtesy of a late check out which was a huge plus for me. It’s not THAT noisy.

Stunning hotel, was very surprised. Fernanda at the front desk was excellent. The food was above average. Rooms were great. The fan they gave us wasn't great but otherwise it's a great hotel.

We were booked into this hotel by Royal Galapagos which provided our driver and itinerary for the cross Andean trip. It was an excellent choice.

The staff was professional and caring. The room was clean.
And worth the value. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is not a five star hotel, but it certainly is a five star service.

Nice accommodations in a very good neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is consistently good and the staff is friendly.

Lovely boutique luxury property with attentive staff that are comfortable conversing in English. The rooftop patio is a must do. Valeria that served us that is an absolute treasure!

The rooms are a bit small but if you can book the family room is worth it! Beautiful room.

We stayed 6 nights and loved it. Rooms either have windows overlooking the inner courtyard or outside. For air flow recommend outside window as it can get stuffy at night.

My gf and I celebrated our anniversary in Cuenca at Hotel La Ronda. The staff was understanding of our late check-in and the room with balcony we had booked was delightful and comfortable.

Our first 3 nights in Ecuador was spent at The Yanuncay Hotel in Cuenca. The hotel is a very short taxi ride to Parque de La Madre and all the wonders of the historic district.

Super nice front desk staff. Great TV channels. Awesome breakfast included tigrillo! Great location, right near the bus station and easy walk into town. Near great Chinese food!

Affordable single room. Very clean and organized. Good bathroom with hot water and toiletries. Working table and chair. Tv. Closet for clothes. Table for luggage.

This little boutique hotel was a delight. Right on the small beautiful San Sebastian square it is a short walk to the central square and just two blocks up from the river.

First time in Cuenca, so I wasn't sure what sort of place the Hotel Azul would be. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise!

A hotel with class and still very good prices. This is a gem, with a beautiful courtyard for you to put your feet on the grass, get some sun and enjoy some peace in the middle of the city.

Furnishings are dated and the bathtub is too high and slippery. Other than that, it is a good place. Don't pay the rate listed on-line.

This was our first time in Ecuador, so I'm critiquing on my personal preferences. Our room was beautiful and the solarium was a nice place to relax in the mornings and evenings.

Absolutely loved my stay at Casa Montalvo. It is in a great location in the historic center and we walked everywhere except for going up to the Turi viewpoint (which was a cheap uber ride).

We spent a week at Casa Montalvo and could not have been happier with everything! The room was spacious, beautiful and comfortable!
