Parc Royal Suites Hotel

We stayed at Parc Royal Hotel as part of a road trip through Ecuador, and it exceeded expectations.
The hotel delivers true Western five star standards.
Fine hotelry with service that feels natural, not forced.
From the first day to the last, the service was consistent.
Professional. Attentive. Quietly precise.
Simple things mattered. A genuine good morning. A real sense of care.
I have traveled my whole life and know the difference between premium and something pretending to be premium.
This hotel is the real thing.
What stood out most was the attention to detail.
On the morning of our departure, they surprised me with a handwritten card, a thoughtful note, and cupcakes ahead of my birthday.
No announcement.
No show.
Just care.
That moment says everything about how this hotel operates.
Cuenca itself is a beautiful city, and staying here made the experience even better.
If you value service, consistency, and real hospitality, this hotel is worth it.

There is nowhere else to ever stay while visiting Cuanca. We were blown away by the service, accomodations, and location of this gem in the heart of the city. The courtyard renovations capture the beauty and elegance of this historic building transferring it's guest to old-world France. While inside the suites.
Feel more like a NYC penthouse. They spared no expense ensuring the suites are welcoming, warm, and quiet! A special blend where old charm merge with contemporary comfort offering guests a truly unique and memorable stay. We felt like we were in a five star hotel!

Originally I booked a one month stay. After one day here, I realized this was where I wanted to be in Cuenca! So I extended my reservation. In addition to the charm of the historic architecture, the location is ideal. The Suites are within easy walking distance of restaurants, parks, tiendas, museums, churches, and mercados. In addition, the staff are extraordinary! They enthusiastically fulfill — and anticipate — guest requests. I highly recommend Gran Colombia Suites to other travelers seeking extended stay accommodations.

These beautiful apartments are right in the middle of everything yet very quiet and very safe. There's a bakery on site that is amazing. The staff quickly became our friends and would help us with anything. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

What a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the historic district! The property is well maintained, apartments are stocked with the necessities and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Property is within walking distance of grocery, mercado, restaurants and points of interest. Taxis are everywhere and inexpensive.

A beautiful property in the heart of Cuenca's Historic Centre (El Centro)! This stunning collection of apartments is walking distance to an endless amount of restaurants, stores and Parque Calderon. Suitable for guests looking for a long term stay as you must book a minimum of 2 weeks. There are a variety of apartments available, so inquire which one is best for your needs. The suites include a small kitchen with everything you need to prepare small meals. There is a Tia convenience store with basic groceries, just a 2 minute walk down the street. For a greater selection of groceries, walk 15 minutes to the Super Aki or better yet, find fantastically fresh and inexpensive produce at the local mercados, which are also within walking distance. The best part about staying here is the staff who are incredibly kind and thoughtful. They work hard to ensure you have a safe, relaxing and comfortable stay and will assist in making reservations and arrange for transportation. They have created a nice sense of community here, and we enjoyed talking with them as well as making new friends also staying in the building. 100% highly recommended for an enjoyable stay in Cuenca!

I stayed for 3 months, great experience, nice and helpful staff, best location also. Highly recommend it.
