I had a confirmed reservation for more than three weeks with a credit card as a guarantee. I even got reminders about it. Yesterday when I showed up at 3pm after a long trip by land the receptionist said there was no room for me. She told me they canceled it because I did not answered my phone (? ). I asked why would they do such thing. She said it was not her fault with no empathy or apology and they wouldn’t even try to re-accommodate me in another hotel. I got very upset because ALL hotels in Cuenca were fully booked due to the local festivities, and there was nowhere to stay. I will not recommend this hotel for their lack of professionalism. Really bad experience!

I had no data in my phone and It was extremely difficult to find another place to stay in a city bursting with people due to the local festivities. I will not recommend this hotel because of their lack of professionalism and empathy in cases like mine. They ruined my vacation!

Place was good for location and rooms; only thing I had a problem with was the price I booked on Expedia was not the price the location asked for. But after getting Expedia involved the problem was resolved.
