I find the location of Rydges Perth very handy when visiting hospitals in or near Perth. Transportation close and handy. Staff always helpful and curious.

Fantastic stay at the Rydges very clean room snuggly crispy white Bed linen.

Great breakfast downstairs (skip the coffee). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Close enough to everything.

Hi, Thanks had a great stay on Friday. We were disappointed with the wait (up to 10 mins for the lift at times) and also we were promised a complimentry bottle of bubbly on arrival as per your email which didn't arrive, as it was our wedding anniversary. The only other issue was that spirits are no longer served at the lounge bar on the 16th with our priority membership when they were last time. It makes it quite an expensive option to upgrade. Apart from that the room was lovely and our stay was enjoyable. Cheers dave.

For the entire period of my stay (4 days) only 1 out of 4 lifts was working. And no staff on hand to apologise or explain to the many frustrated guests waiting in the queue to use the lifts. How hard would it be to have someone man the service lift at peak times (as the sign indicated). Everything else was fine, but not recommended if you need parking. You will wait and wait for the valet service to bring it to you.

Rooms are great. Service was TERRIBLE! Not enough staff on a Friday night. Sat outside waiting for table service. After a long wait, decided that there was no table service and ordered at the bar and was informed there was table service but only one wait staff was seen. He was run off his feet consequently no service. Approached bar and got own menus and finally was served by waiter as he ran past. Not his fault but management for not employing enough staff for a busy Friday night. Pepper steak was wonderful! No information upon check-in what time or where breakfast was and no information about breakfast times in the room. Breakfast was shocking. No plates near beginning of queue which wasn't discovered until you came upon the food. Had to get out of queue to retrieve plates from other side of bar and rejoin queue. 2 x 4 slice toasters for all customers placed at beginning of breakfast queue instead of end. Certainly not enough toasters for the amount of breakfast goers. Placing them at the beginning of the queue created a bottleneck! There was no table service to order coffee. This was only discovered when after 15minutes of waiting I finally approached a person on the other side of the restaurant and placed an order with her. 15 minutes later — no coffee so approached the guy behind the bar who stated that the coffees had been lost and would have to order again! Food was cold. Awful experience don't bother paying for breakfast. Go somewhere else.

I was very impressed with Rydges Perth. We were staying one night for leisure and we could not fault the mobile check in, valet parking, concierge service, kingsize suite on the Club floor, the service or the hotel itself. Very happy with the experience. Will definitely be back soon.

My partner and I enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Rydges Perth. I booked a Queen room which included a bottle of house red (a passable wolf blass shiraz) and buffet breakfast for 2. Upon arrival we were greeted courteously by reception and promptly checked in without complication. Parking can be an issue if you are driving as the hotel only offers a valet parking option of $38 so you will need to factor in alternative parking arrangement if this is not preferred as we did. There is free parking along Hay street but conditions apply (after 6 pm from memory during weekends and before 12 noon). I do not recommend trying your luck outside of the free parking times as the parking is electronically monitored meaning if you exceed the free time you will be fined. The room itself was clean, odor free and presentable with acceptable amenities in the bathroom including water temperature/pressure in the shower/complimentary toiletries etc. One notable omission however was a lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom which was a bit surprising and it is something I believe should be rectified. The bed was very comfortable with very clean linen and pillows. There was bottled water by the bed head (the tap water was not very pleasant) and on check out discovered the bottled water wasn't complimentary.

Comfortable, bland big-city hotel. Staff were friendly in a routine way, but without the genuine warmth of some smaller hotels. My room was comfortable, with good temperature regulation, a supportive bed, nice pillows and a clean, well-equipped bathroom.
