ibis Perth

Each time we stay in Perth the Ibis Hotel is always our choice. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of retail outlets, restaurants, clubs and bars. It recently had a complete makeover and it now has a modern up to date feel and look. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are efficient and friendly. The Ibis has good food at it's restaurant which and also has it's own bar for a drink or two. Highly recommend a stay here.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant was very pleasant, with a great atmosphere and enjoyable food. They also found an excellent solution to securely store our bikes, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

Was shocked on arrival at reception to be asked, after paying for the room, to leave a deposit of $50 by credit card. When asked what the deposit was for, she said possible room service, parking (we had no car), “etcetera”. Have never encountered this deposit thing before. When asked if I could pay the deposit by cash, she advised that the deposit would increase to $500! The room was a shoe box with very little luggage room-reminiscent of a Paris or English room. When I checked out the next morning I was advised the $50 deposit would be returned to my card account “in two to three working days”. I had not accessed anything from this substandard hotel. The only good thing about the Perth Ibis is the Belgian beer house and eatery over the road.

Room was abit small in my opinion and facilities were not mind blowing, but all in all ok.
Notes:
— Do not bring a power adapter that is too large, it gets in the way of the switch itself and sometimes turns it off if you push the too-large adapter in all the way.

We selected iBis Perth on Murray Street because it is so central.
Walking distance from / to the Train Station and Busport (via the grand underground walkway link).
Catch train to Fremantle (the Market and streets).
Catch the free CAT bus-lines to see the city.
Short walk to the Malls street of Murray and Hay, and to George Terrace.
We could walk to Hertz Murray Street to collect the rental car.
We could park at the Wilsons facility in the next street — very convenient.
We stayed three nights, so booked the larger room with separate bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
Ideal for a bit of self-catering (but please add dishcloth etc.! ).
The rooms are large and spacious, very neat and clean.
TV worked well, with Chromecast so that we could watch our own BritBox from the iPhone!
We used the Laundry facility ($5 for the Washing Machine and $5 for the dryer).
The Restaurant downstairs was great — we had a few beers there, on the sidewalk — great atmosphere.
The staff are efficient, helpful and friendly!

I have been a member of ALL / Accor for some 20 years, and have stayed in Accor hotels worldwide!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and functional. Very handy location in CBD and close to train station and jetty.
Only negative was the street noise in the evening with loud car revving and nearby club at weekend. Window did not block much sound!

Hi, we stayed in room 220, on the 19th Nov 25 early morning at 2am, we checked into this room. Service for the hotel is fine but this room is no good, the aircon is not working, the centralize aircon only blow alone the corridor and not into the room, so maybe we should have open the room and sleep overnight, the room was very hot like tropica country and very humid due to the flooding in the bath room, we were given a fan after the receptionist came twice to check the aircon system, we were told to turn on and off but apparently to reach 18 or even 20 degree is impossible, the turn on and off was not working …
While we are checking the aircon, I found out the inlet service air louver were extremely dirty, the dust can be accumulate to become a soft pillow.
My son was coughing none stop throughout the night, so in case u are having sensitive nose or back drip, kindly avoid this room 220.
The toilet bathing area glass door cannot prevent the water from flowing out. Those rubber or silicon around the side doors does not prevent the water from leaking out from the crevices, so every time you bath, u will flood the whole toilet, we have used 4 toilet floor towels to block the water, but to no avail. Ibis standard should be good but this business hotel room does not meet the standard. After two days of heat and water survival, we checked out.
Even the air outside the ibis is cooler and fresher.

Located in Perth CBD, very strategic and next to the city centre, near supermarkets and bars, and the room is quite spacious and well-equipped amenities. We stayed for like over two weeks in different rooms because of some technical problems but their front desk staff are all very helpful. Housekeeping not so much, sometimes we needed to request basic things missing from daily standard like teas or face towels. But overall it was lovely experience, definitely recommended for first-time visitors to Perth.

I visited Perth and stayed at this hotel with my friends — I made all the reservations, and accidentally made a few mistakes (double bookings), and the front desk staff helped me solving the problems that avoided me paying unnecessary fares. The ability to cancel some of the reservations I mistakenly made, had made my stays so enjoyable. The same staff (the one who helped me checking-in) has helped me with the keys and some important and valuable information about the city of Perth in general. I really love her, her attitude, and her personality. My room was comfortable, and quite convenient — the hotel location was perfectly located in the city center, it was very close to the entertainment centers, the department stores, all the good food, and easy access to some prominent destinations in Perth. The Internet connection was also very fast and stable. All the hotel features also worked well. It just the room amenities provided to me in my room were very limited. I couldn't shave during 5-days stay at the hotel; and had I not bring my own toothbrush; I wouldn't be able to brush my teeth either. But overall, I had a fantastic time staying at the hotel because of the helpfulness of the front-desk staff who checked me in.

The room was good, better than my expectations. The only thing I find odd is that no hair dryer was provided in the room. A hairdryer is a basic amenity for a hotel stay. Something which IBIS Perth ought to look into.

Front desk staff very polite and helpful. Hotel well located and recently renovated rooms. However housekeeping is not doing a great job. The rooms were not kept clean (bathroom dirty, dust on the furniture and mirrors, carpet not vacuum, bed linen not changed, soap dispenser not filled). We stayed for 14 nights and had to call housekeeping several times to get things done. This is a shame as the recently renovated rooms will be tired very soon.

Sink blocked, lights dim, shower leaking, bad mould and stains in bathroom, strong odor through out, ripped curtain, soiled and stained walls and carpets, the bedding is just a dirty stained quilt in between sheets, construction noise ongoing for months from 7.10am, luggage storage room door not even locked properly, loud alarm like and machinery noises constantly even with aircon turned off, the hallways are no different dark dirty and soiled.
I don't blame the staff, this place should of been better well maintained and updated a long time ago.

The housekeeping staff were very good and room was clean. The duty manager and desk staff were very helpful in giving information and calling taxi's when needed.
The breakfasts were vast and always well laid out. Plenty of choice. Hot meals were always hot. Staff at entrance to dining area always pleasant and kept tables cleared and clean.
The hotel was in a good position in Perth. It was close to the underground station, a Coles, two banks, A great bakery, both Murray and Hay street Malls and several other outlets for eating. I stayed 12 nights.

During our stay at the newly renovated Ibis hotel, we encountered several issues that made the experience disappointing. Firstly, the shower leaked excessively, flooding the entire bathroom, even after a quick shower. This left towels soaked, and since they were often taken without being replaced, we had to make multiple calls just to get fresh ones.
The air conditioning was another letdown. While we expected to be able to control the temperature in our room, this wasn’t the case. There was no remote or controls, leaving us stuck with the same temperature as the rest of the hotel, which was too hot and incredibly noisy. It became so uncomfortable that we ended up turning it off altogether. To make matters worse, the window couldn’t be opened, depriving us of fresh air at night.
There was also no drinkable water provided in the room, and we had to go down to the lobby to get water, which was inconvenient, especially for a 14-night stay. Upon arrival, we were expecting a room with a fridge, as advertised, but there wasn’t one. The bed itself was comfortable, but the linens were itchy and uncomfortable, almost as if there were bedbugs.
The walls were extremely thin, and we could hear our neighbors using the bathroom, walking around, and talking, which made for several sleepless nights.

The reviews were scary but most affordable hotel nearest to everything Perth station, Perth underground the malls etc.
If coming from airport by train with just one bag easy to walk tho we did didi both ways.
Was good rooms look newly refurbished.
And the reception staff were great. Above expectation.

I recently stayed at the IBIS Perth for one night, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The room was small and outdated, with several glaring issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The shower's grouting was molded, and water leaked all over the bathroom floor, creating a safety hazard. The linen had several yellow stains, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the TV was tiny—about the size of a tablet—and there was no bottled water provided in the room.
To make matters worse, I discovered an empty wine bottle, two empty cans, and takeout containers left in one of the drawers by previous guests, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. The noise from the nearby pubs kept me up at night, with drunk patrons making it impossible to get a good night's rest.
The staff service was adequate, and most of them were friendly, but I encountered an issue with my breakfast booking. Despite paying for breakfast in advance, I was informed in the morning that I wasn’t on the list, and I had to show my booking confirmation email to resolve the issue. Sadly, the breakfast itself was mediocre and not worth the hassle.
Overall, I would not recommend staying at the IBIS Perth. The combination of outdated and dirty facilities, coupled with a lackluster breakfast and disruptive noise levels, made for a very disappointing stay.

We didn’t have bottled water in fridge then Woken 6:30am by hotel repairs on a Saturday without notice. Fine, we were told we would be upgraded to a higher floor as work continued Sunday. Room was smaller and dusty. Asked for another bottle of water and told only one per stay even though staying 3 nights. In Sum: housekeeping are not doing their job and leadership is not checking and communicating well with internal and external stakeholders.
