The whole place is in need of some TLC.
Tired decor, grotty carpet in the hallways and the air-conditioning has no temp control.

Small rooms, noisy aircon in room that goes most of the night😖

Aged. Small pillows, small bed, small TV, thin walls, restaurant closed. Cheap price cheap hotel.

One nights stay in this very central city hotel, nice clean room with shower room could of dine with a shower towel for stepping on after showering, nice experience checking in staff nice and friendly at check in/out restaurant staff a bit moody! A complimentary brekky was decent.

From start of stay the staff couldn't do enough for you and so pleasant and helpful we received a btl of champagne and a lovli card to celebrate our anniversary this gesture goes a long way. The hotel is kept spotless and would definitely recommend.

Great staff on reception, great location and good value for money — will be back.

Firstly the service of the hotel restaurant staff, particularly Jarryn, Cameron and Matt has been outstanding! I'm staying for a week (which I only have a day or two left of being here) and throughout this time they have been incredibly friendly with smiles on their faces, very polite/well mannered and always seem happy to help and serve! Couldn't be happier with their service! The rooms are incredibly clean and kept to a high standard, everything look's a nice and is comfortable and amenities are right at hand and thoughtful of what customers would want! The cleaning crew are very efficient (Even though I try to be considerate and not make mess for them! )

It’s always nice to come back in ibis. Staff are helpful and friendly. Include free breakfast with a lot of variety to choose. Asian and Australian etc. Room always clean. All the best to your team! Cheers! Always coming back to visit.

The ibis was great the meal was delicious, service was excellent no complaints at all would recommend it.

All stylish, air-conditioned rooms at Ibis Perth feature a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has a work desk with internet access. The property offers an on-site restaurant and meeting/banquet facilities.

Good place to stay. Right in the middle of the city with short walking distance to the train, bus stations, Hay street market, Murray street market and Elizabeth Quay. The shower room is too small.

The pillows stunk heavily of really bad Body Odour. Bloody horrible experience and didn't sleep a wink. Waste of money. **************** Update — after originally scoring this place a 2 I have had to revisit. The manager of the hotel personally got in touch with me to extend his apologies, and offered many options to try and make up for the below average experience. I did try the Ibis again since, and it was a great experience. Food options were great, bed was comfy, linen was clean and bathroom also in good condition. Have revised to a well earned 4.

Delightful hotel with great service. Friendly staff and clean room. The building is not new, but it is adequate in facilities and amenities. The breakfast is a good spread of hot and cold selection with decent latte to go. The location is fantastic; within walking distance of major attractions and ample restaurant around. Sign up for hotel membership to get discount off meals at the adjacent restaurants.

Hotel is really lovely, clean and modern. Bonny was so helpful at reception, I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's very central to all amenities in perth.

Got a $15 deal off Groupon for the breakfast buffet. I understand it goes for at least $20. I wouldn't have even paid $10. It's just THE MOST basic breakfast items such as scrambled eggs and bacon. There are some fruits from cans, two yoghurts and some really dry, sorry-looking pastries. Only coffee is from some sort of instant machine, even though they sell takeaway coffees. I would have liked to have had pancakes or waffles. If you got it for free with your hotel room, it's worth grabbing some food. But don't actively pay for this or you'll be disappointed.

This Ibis hotel is comfortable, usually well priced and in a good central location. The staff too are helpful and friendly. The hotel however is dated with the hallway carpets needing a clean. In the room too the air-conditioning isn't up to modern standards; there is no means of controlling the temperature with the only air-con options being OFF, LOW, MED and HIGH. The newer Ibis hotels (e. G. Melbourne & Adelaide) are far nicer than this hotel.

Always our go to. Place after team. Meeting, free fried spring rolls and samosas for non alcoholic people while your colleagues enjoying some drinks…

Good Hotel located in centre of Perth. Reasonable priced comfortable & quiet. Short walk to shops, restaurants and transport.

Room is OK. Just the breakfast same for everyday. Breakfast is the same every day.

Rooms are clean and up to date. Se vice is friendly and helpful. Good central location. Some noide from hallways and plumbing but not much. Comfortable beds and big pillows. Tv a little dated but no issue. Overall great value for money. Recommended if you areon a budget.

Today Gemma at the restaurant was very nice, welcomed us nicely and was very helpful. One of the ladies from the wait staff was not as helpful though. She need to learn to accomodate and treat people equally.

Ran into some old friends having dinner. They liked it. I only eat Crack so can't comment on the food They lost a star cos in 2007 I was barred from booking a room. Simply cos I was accompanied by a streetwalker. We would have got away with it, except a particularly virulent strain of gonorrhea fell out of her axwound at the counter. Not happy Jan I wanted to pass that strain onto one of my ex-wives!

We saw Josh Glanc do his sweet sweet Karma Karma (etc. ) Chamedian show for Fringe World. He was very good. Need I say more? Okay. It was clear that he was excellently trained and his comedic timing is precise and gets better every time. Gorgeous man. Also great venue.

Nice place. Well located… neat and tidy rooms. Staff were lovely :) down fall no bath and the window opened with no security from the 7th floor.

Very nice place and helpful staff. While the hotel room is on the small side it's tidy and clean, with a nice bathroom. The hotel is nicely located, close to pubs and bars. It's also very near the Perth train station.

We stayed here over two nights and had a very delicious Christmas lunch (table set up with Christmas Crackers). I had asked if, as having Coeliac Disease, whether there would be gluten-free. I was well catered for with even gluten-free small cake type delights at the end. There was a great choice of hot, cold, seafood, cheeses, fruit and more. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice. Our room had a switch to turn on aicon or not. Room clean. Only problem we had was the shower pashialy flooding the bathroom floor. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Thankyou for our Christmas stay.

Location, very central. Room quite small but clean. For two people too few possibilities to hang the Towels. If you need the room just for sleeping, absolutely good.

Nice 3 star hotel in downtown Perth. Very close to the main shopping street or actually at the shopping street. Very nice service. Free Wi-Fi and not complimentary breakfast. The restaurant also serves dinner. It is a walking distance to a subway station and also not extremely far from the beach.

Perfectly happy with the place. Friendly staff. Well situated, lots to see and do nearby. Plenty of eateries. Good transport links. Would use it again.

I stay here every time I stay in Perth… probably 20+ stays whether I'm on my own or with my husband & daughter. Why? Location is perfect, value is good, staff are lovely, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Yes the rooms are small but I come here to sleep not to have a disco in the room so the size is more than adequate. Rubix bar is a great place to chill out with a beer, food's good. Never had a bad experience in the many years I've been coming here (& I can be bloody fussy)!

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. My room was tiny, nothing like the photos shown online. My bed kept moving because of the wheels. My room also shared a door with the adjacent bedroom so there was absolutely no insulation and no privacy. The room next door had a family (a very chatty toddler and a baby) so I could hear them from 6:30 am to past 11pm! Given the room rate, I would have expected better comfort. The carpet is getting really old, outside and inside the bedrooms.

A good place to stay and be near the shops, restaurants, transport and Art galleries. Our room was clean and tidy, although a little on the small side with little room to open out our suitcases. As we were only staying two nights we did not want to unpack everything, so a bit more space to open them up on the floor and leave them, would have been better. Again, bathroom was small but always clean with good quality, clean towels and toiletries. Always milk in the fridge too. Staff were very helpful when the drier in the laundry room kept cutting out and did not dry our clothes. Although it was gone the official closing time when we reported it, we were given the money that we had "lost" and let in to the laundry room on another floor.

Fantastic! Very friendly staff, good room, clean and tidy hotel. Had an awesome breakfast — food was great. Also had dinner within the hotel at the Grill and really enjoyed that too. A very pleasant and enjoyable stay which I would love to do again.

Pros — Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons — Room was basic but that is all we needed. As Muslims, the breakfast was slightly limited to fried rice, eggs, pastries etc. Would have been nice to have more options. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. The central location was ideal for our overnight visit to Perth. We checked in on-line, so that made access to our room easy. Prior advice regarding parking was very helpful and the location was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful and the small note welcoming us to our room/stay was appreciated, along with the drinks and bar bites next door. The room was snug but comfortable and on a high level, just as requested. The only suggestion really would be for the inclusion of an in-room safe, which would be preferred over the complimentary safe deposit box available at the reception area.

Lovely check in experience after a very long day. Enjoyed breakfast and ease of checkout. Room was a good standard. Unfortunately, I was there just 12 hours due to work commitments, but a very useful and clean hotel. Definitely would use it again.

Everything is perfect except the room a little cold… there is no heating…

Lovely staff, most impressed with breakfast and a young lady who was very efficient seating people, getting guests more milk when ask while helping a gent with the coffee machine at the same time a deliver man needed help you could see her process every task with a great smile. As for the parking for some the price and distance more lighting. In the rooms the curtains revealed to much sun light. My parents had their vehicle and caravan written off in a accident. Dad was in the hospital my sister and myself fly direct from cairns and needed accommodation for four people. The price was fairer then most and my choice was pot luck. We most defiantly would stay at an Ibis Hotel again.

I am so happy with my stay in IBIS. The staff is so welcoming guessers and smile all time in the faces. Which makes you smile too. Feel good and relax while asking for something. Because they always listen me carefully. And they solved the issue immediately. Thank you so much. It was really a great experience.

Returning guest. Felt the facilities are simple but reliable. Good value for money. We had a smaller room than our last stay but our family of three were comfortable. Excellent service and great breakfast buffet. Prefer this hotel to other similar ones. More soundproof and sound facilities.

By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Lifts were playing up, stopped working, took you to a random floor, ground again, only let you off on your floor. Completely blacked out when friends were in it and they couldn't press any buttons.
The noise. Unsleepable. We have stayed here before and never anything like this. The front reception were kind enough to offer to buy me some ear plugs which with two small kids isn't possible. They did however give me the option to check out at 9pm. When heading down for breakfast (which 1/2 the rooms did the 1/2 marathon so didn't eat), we were told only one room had breakfast included.
We have a large booking every year before the HBF run, but will never book or recommend people to book here.

Hotel located in downtown Perth clean Wi-Fi room I was provided giveaway. Only the front desk left me perplexed, at my request to leave the suitcase to check out for a few days they refused I had to call the correspondent to fix it. But they had other valogie in storage mah.

The room was incredibly small it cost 200 for one night and there was no room to even walk around the beds im heavily pregnant and purchused a ice chocolate drink from there vending machine had a massive drink of it only to throw up everywhere because the drink went off on the 16th of febuary its now august when I let the reception staff know there only comment was oh we dont service our vending machines… you would think since it was an advertised part of there hotel they would make sure it was in working order with all perishables checked often to ensure health and safety of there guests when I questioned what I could drink I was told there was a small (not even a 600 ml) bottle of water in the fridge as a family of 3 staying in this room and booked as so it was gone real quick when asked if I could just drink the tap water I was advised to boil it in the kettle and then drink it… really I have a 2 year old and a five year old cant drink the drinks in your vending machine that I purchased die to them being off 6onths ago cant drink the tap water and expected to drink scolding hot water. Reception didnt care didnt offer more and simply said we have more water if you would like to purchases it at reception and as we are a budget hotel it is not upto us to supply drinking water… really? For 200 a night id say that drinkable water would atleast be expected.

The hotel is comfortable. Rooms are clean and modern. The location is perfect if you want to go out at night and find a restaurant or a pub.

Great location. Room was very clean and tidy. Free Wi-Fi was definitely a bonus. We were on the third floor and could not hear traffic noise which was a big surprise. Shopping, eateries and public transport was right out the front door.

Fairly straight forward for an overnight stay, business related. Clean new bathrooms, small but tidy and comfortable rooms. Lovely staff.

Great service, comfortable stay. Ibis Perth has a good location, with convenient walking distance to shops and entertainment. Certainly not the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed at (although that being said we only had a standard room), but was satisfied and comfortable.

Location was fine, tiny rooms.

Perfectly smooth check in, neat beds and good room service. Very good location and breakfast felt just right. Will be back again. Only negative was that the room felt small, but you get used to it.

Staying overnight at the Ibis was perfect when I was attending a concert at the Perth Arena as it was only minutes away from the venue and because it was close to the train station, I didn't need to worry about driving in and paying for overnight parking. The next morning I was able to do the short stroll to the mall to do some shopping. The bed was comfy and the shower had perfect pressure and the girls at the front desk was so helpful and friendly.

Had a lovely stay with comfy bed, also had tea and coffee in room. Room was a little small but good. Breakfast in the morning was the best I have had for years. Great stay. And central.

The standard room was average, not super clean but not incredibly dirty. I had a room that was right next to the vending machines, which made a constant noise the whole day and night, that was a bit irritating. It was in a very convenient location, surrounded by shops underneath, you could practically walk to most places.

Rooms OK. Really small, get what you pay for I guess. Internet expensive. Can hear other rooms TVs during the night. No on site parking.

The hotel is very average. Would not stay in it again. You need to pay for all extras — TV etc. No free to view TV at all. Internet is is very expensive. No microwaves in the room and very over priced bar downstairs.
