Lovely stay at this hotel 2nd to 5th January. The position is excellent, short walk to the s Bahn station. The hotel has obviously been refurbished, everything gleams and sparkles.

We received a warm welcome at reception and were booked in quickly. Hotel is in a great location and was very handy for walking to some of the major sites in Berlin.

A real gem. A lovely hotel, with great service. It's perfectly located — the surrounding area has lots to see and public transport links are great.

Rooms — they need to sort out their aircon and heat situation — all of our rooms were hot then cold on repeat.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Neuer Fritz. From check-in onwards, nothing was too much trouble for the staff – everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful.

Overall I loved our stay here, honestly no complaints at all. From the moment we met the reception staff Patricia and Hyden we were sure everything would go smoothly so friendly and professional.

Very good hotel, we booked the Half Board option and both the breakfast and the dinner were very nice. The staff was very kind and helpt us with needed requests.

Great location, good value for money (for Berlin). Good breakfast for a small hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet. Just be aware (as others have said) that the rooms are very dark.

Telegraphenamt Hotel in Berlin is a beautifully restored historic property. The architecture, the warm lighting, and the antique artefacts across the hotel make the stay truly memorable.

Grand building with spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. Walking distance from Museum island.

Stayed for 3 nights with breakfast. Room was roomy with kingsize bed, mattress so comfy. Kettle, fridge and tower fan in room, all of which were very much appreciated: as was the balcony.

Excellent location within easy reach of Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island, Ubahn station less than 10 minutes walk away, the hotel itself is just of the main road so it can be quiet, room was a good

A refreshing change from the usual hotels, this is a converted house with a lovely garden. Nice spacious room, decent bathroom. Breakfast is ok.

Delightful place to stay.
We were visiting Berlin with another couple. This little hotel is a real gem. We luckily had the rooms directly onto the courtyards which were lovely.

A very good hotel overall.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped, big bed and a big, modern, shower.
The staff are very nice but perhaps a bit less helpful than expected from a five star hotel.

What an amazing room! So much space in 313. Big and comfortable bed. Big bathroom and superb quality shower. Housekeeping was great over the five nights spent here.

I loved my stay at Hotel CALMA Berlin Mitte! The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, with thoughtful, modern design made that everything feel calm and inviting.

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2 x M rooms. Rooms were a great size and overlooked the courtyard so were nice and quiet. We enjoyed the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Spacious rooms but terrible air conditioning system. The control system seemed to do nothing except emit a bright green light at night!

Absolutely amazing. Ideal location, beautiful spacious room, comfortable bed, heated floor in the bathroom and most importantly, 24/7 sauna, with a lounge area, towels, water, showers, lockers.

I had a great time staying here. The hotel's location in the city center is absolutely brilliant, making it easy to explore Berlin.

Great location and staff! Many restaurants nearby, right next to the Spree, and easily walkable to many of the must-see sites of Berlin. Room was good for size but pretty basic for the cost.

Contemporary yet cosy hotel. Located in the lively Hackescher Markt district, it is the ideal starting point for visiting Berlin. I recommend it!

Top recommendation! Perfect place to stay with kids in Berlin city center. The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Also breakfast and superior room were very good.

Overall everything was pretty nice, initially I stayed in a shared room, on the third night a guest arrived that made difficult to have a proper rest during my stay so I decided to ask for upgrading

Was mostly happy with the stay. Clean room, 3 beds were comfortable and warm, bathroom and shower were adequate size.

Room was clean & comfortable and hotel is near a lot of good restaurants and the attractions.

Quite big rooms, clean. Very central in Mitte. No A/C. Rooms cleaned only upon request. No safe in the room.

What more do you need for a city break, plus cool locations all around and a quick connection to the city.

Return visitors. Love it here. Amazing views (superior room floor 5) … and a warm welcome. Like the quirky style and unusual room layout, with movable screens and curtaining.

Enjoyed it but not a 4-star hotel. I also fan very loud at night and made it hard to sleep. Good breakfast.
