Boutique Hotel Château Royal

A real gem. A lovely hotel, with great service. It's perfectly located — the surrounding area has lots to see and public transport links are great. The rooms are really comfortable and generously proportioned.

This was the first and last stay at this hotel. While the rooms are nice and the location is good, the bad service made the whole stay a bitter memory.
It is overpriced.
They asked for an extra 100€ for a child bed.
The worst service, and food was at breakfast, so I recommend skipping it and just go to the next by Einstein Café instead.
All stuff, restaurant and reception, were unfriendly, some seemed hanged over or still under influence of drugs from the previous night.
For the same price, you can get much more value for your money, pretty much anywhere else.

Nice design is not a good enough reason to stay at your hotel. Good service should match the good design.

Really lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly.
Rooms — they need to sort out their aircon and heat situation — all of our rooms were hot then cold on repeat. Sometimes cleaning staff would leave left over room service. Also wish they had a more simple room service menu and not so fancy. Otherwise great stay! Really bad TV placement and TV channels though.

Couldn't recommend this place more! I stayed here while in Berlin for the marathon and it could not have been more perfect. The location is 10 mins from the starting village. The service and hospitality was incredible. They have the best restaurant and made sure I was well-fueled for my race. The beds were so comfortable and I've never slept better. They even left me an electrolyte energy drink for me which was so cute. Would love to stay here again!

Stayed for just a couple of days on a trip to Berlin and had a great time! Our rooms were ready early when we arrived and the location of the hotel helped us fit everything we wanted to see in. I highly recommend the hotel!

Room was immaculately clean, rather smartly designed and fit with quality materials. Staff were helpful and efficient. This was a very comfortable home base in a convenient location. We’d happily stay here again.

Great rooms, very friendly staff, and an amazing location. Three stars for the room because of the air conditioning. It is not very strong and we could not cool down the room much at all. It was too warm at night to sleep. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the air-conditioning but this is how it was designed.

Simply my favorite hotel, everything is perfect! The bed is something very superb and comfy. To start the day, the breakfast is exceptional, so so good! Very recommended.

Was fortunate to spend a week at this amazing hotel with our crew while working on a film in Berlin. It’s a 4 star hotel with 5 star experience. Do yourself a favor and spend an evening at the bar with Ricardo he will take the best care of you. The only recommendation I have is they need to add fries and a burger to the bar menu ;).

For what we paid and expected this was spot on. Location very central, restaurant great, bar super and very chilled. Rooms great — like the bathroom/changing room idea works well! Gave 4 stars only because it's not posh-posh but then we knew that, and there were corporate functions going on a couple of nights that made us as guests feel not first priority — probably a rare occurance but might be worth checking. Couldn't use the roof terrace one night — for example which is not what we booked!

My husband picked this hotel for our visit to Berlin, so I had zero expectations. But let me tell you, it was outstanding! We love a boutique hotel and Chateau Royal is now the hotel that all others will be compared to. Every step, every encounter, every staff member, every amenity deserved a "bravo. " The location was in walking distance from the train station and some of the main sites in Berlin. I don't even have the words for our room! I literally did not want to leave. We also visited the bar after returning from dinner and it had a nice vibe with attentive bartenders. This hotel gets 5-stars all around!

An excellent boutiquey hotel in the Mitte. Great room and shower room, excellent breakfast included. A good bar with great cocktails and discrete comfortable seating. We had 5 guests in for dinner at the.
Hotel — it was really good! The staff are very engaging and helpful and perfectly discrete and backgroundy. No hudtle or bustle! We loved this hotel. Its a 5k circuit from here arojnd the tiergarten and they also hire bikes. You must go!

A perfect location in the middle of Berlin. Lovely charme hotel, nothing like the big brands. Art oriented decoration. Nice rooms with a good bed. Some small defects in the room but nothing serious. Good Wi-Fi. Good breakfast and nice service at the reception. Service at the bar could be a bit more proactive. Especially the bike rental service was great. We really enjoyed sight seeing by bike.

I recently stayed at Château Royal and had an incredible experience in this beautiful place: from the warm welcome of the team to the stunning aesthetics in every detail. Helin was able to help me with everything—from booking restaurant tables that were fully booked online to assisting with other inquiries. Christoph helped me retrieve forgotten items from my previous hotel, and Christian from Guest Relations gave me an incredibly inspiring tour of the hotel. It’s clear that the entire hotel team enjoys working in this beautiful place and treats guests with warmth and openness.

I visited the bar and restaurant at Hotel Château Royal Berlin, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere, especially by the fire, strikes a perfect balance between elegance and warmth, making it an ideal spot to unwind.
The bar staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, happy to prepare anything we wanted — though the Pisco Sour was definitely a highlight.
The food menu is small, which I appreciated, as every dish felt carefully selected. I had the risotto, and it was absolutely delicious — simple, fresh, and perfectly cooked.
A stylish, comfortable place with great service and a thoughtful approach to both food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Really wonderful. Elegant and well equipped in an unfussy, stripped back kind of a way. Amar is one of the best waiters I have ever met. Such a lovely play to stay and perfectly located in Berlin. I have stayed here twice — would definitely recommend and return.
