We had a wonderful experience during our stay over Christmas vacation. Best hotel in the area. Will stay there again.

The front clerk was so friendly! The lobby is inviting and the room is spacious!

This is one of the nicest, cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot! The view from the patio area is beautiful and the rooms are very clean, nice and quiet, we will be back.

Great hotel and a newer building. The Fairfield Inn has very clean rooms, efficient workout area, and delicious breakfast. It’s a business type hotel so the rooms are not huge and the breakfast is limited. The location is very close to Pullman Square and downtown restaurants. I recommend the Fairfield ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very clean and quiet place to stay. We had an excellent experience from the time we walked through the door with courteous and helpful staff as well as a good complimentary breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit, etc. Highly recommend for anyone looking a place to stay with reasonable rates.

The hotel is located on top of a hill. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. They offer free parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast. I recommend going to the balcony outside of the breakfast area to enjoy a great view.

Consistent quality and updated rooms with inroom Netflix. Pool and breakfast. Will continue to stay with Marriott in the future.

This is much more than it seems from the price and stars. Whenever we're staying over in Huntington, like we are for a wedding this weekend, we prefer to stay here if possible! The rooms, lobby, beds, breakfast, and staff are first rate, and there's a nice overlook from the patio. The parking is convenient and well lit at night. I always feel safe and pampered when we stay here!

No military discounts for all their rooms service sucked.

Stayed here last night after a long drive bringing my son to college. Staff was friendly. But I got up to my room, pulled down the sheets and found bedbugs! I immediately called the front desk and they offered me a new room. I paid for a room with 2 beds, but they only had run one with a single bed available. Their couches aren’t terribly comfortable to sleep on.

Everything exceeded our expectations. Check in/out was super fast. Shower had metal shelves to hold shampoo, etc. The in room microwave, coffee station and refrigerator were very convenient. Many options for complimentary breakfast. I will look for a Fairfield Inn next time I travel. Not every hotel has to be luxurious — very clean and comfy!

Very pleased with my stay here. The room was nice an clean (had a great veiw). The staff was pleasent. Will most definitely stay here again.

The rooms were huge! And the bathrooms were too! The beds were super comfortable and clean. Plus, their breakfast that runs from 6-9 am was pretty good too. All around great place to stay.

Amazing location also great staff. Loved how gym was open 24 hours and pool open until 11 pm.

This hotel is practically brand new. If you get on the right side you have a great view from your room. Indoor pool and patio are nice amenities, and the rooms have plenty of power outlets which is a huge plus. Nice clean bathrooms too.

Clean, comfortable room, well maintained. Good breakfast with very fresh fruit. Further back than the other hotels into Kinetic Park. Trust your GPS. Still very convenient off the highway.

The front desk clerk was absolutely nothing but rude when we came in! When I told her that I too was a hotel operator her attitude changed very quickly. She’s just here for a paycheck and don’t care about the guest and their needs! Rooms are ok but without great customer service, room quality don’t mean squat!

Poor service related to room was canceled in error and they never sincerely apologized. Turned the whole thing around as if my fault. Had to settle for one king bed for 3 grown adults. Had to practically beg them to offer any type of resolution. Whole city sold out d/t college graduation.
They did comp my room charge begrudgingly
The manager Robin acted as if she had to cut off her right arm to do so. Honestly, was looking for an appropriate apology that I never received while other employees in office watching and observing a terrible and immature response from their mentor and manager.
Pretty sure if Marriott had seen the response I received would cringe in utter disgust that their customer service training was completely ignored. Any educated person with any training knows that a customer complaint handled promptly and with sincerity goes much further than a free stay that was the incorrect room in the first place.
Marriott lost a customer today.

This was a hotel I wouldn't mind staying at again. On our cross country drive we stayed here over night. They have a great indoor pool (towels to use so you don't have to bring your own or use the ones from your room) small but great gym (weights, treadmills, elliptical machine, etc) nice complimentary breakfast, and helpful staff! If you need larger parking spaces with easy access for trailers and semitrucks, then this is a great place. It's one of the reasons we choose this location over the other hotels in the area. Everything was really clean and our room had a beautiful view of the mountainous area your surrounded by! They also have a military rate to help benefit our soldiers and their families. The only draw back was it was a bit more expensive then we expected but well worth the money.

Very clean the beds were extremely comfortable just really expensive do to whatever the event is at the big Sandy arena.

Everything was nice and clean and we slept really well. I dislike the strange policies that I was told by other people are considered normal for hotels. I made the reservation in my fiance's name and reserved it with my credit card. When I called to see if the room was available for early check in they refused to speak to me about anything. After giving my phone to him, the receptionist said "IF this is John doe, your room is available for check in. " Strange they refused to tell me, whose card was attached to the room, but would tell a man whose identity they had no way to verify…

Would recommend this place. Excellent location to restaurants, gas stations, interstate access. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Facility clean, comfortable pleasant decor.

Room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Best pillows in the world. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion are Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage that smell so good. We got in very late and slept in so we missed breakfast. This was a stop on our way to Chesapeake, VA so no time to check out any of the other amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

We asked for a 2 bedroom suite. And got a 1 room, partly departed by a 2 foot offset on the wall. 1 bed, for my son and I Guess Wally, thought I was a perv. Got a roller bed dor mt son and left next morning. Worst part. He said All " Executive King Suites, come that way. " Really go to NYC AND REQUEST A 2 BEDROOM EXECUTIVE SUITE, And it won't be a 1 ed, 1 room accommodation, I assure you Wally. Now if I wanted 1 bed hotel room, it would have been okay, but calling it a King Suite, it is not.

Nice new hotel. Simple, but clean and new. Chocolate chip waffles were a nice change from regular waffles. Unfortunately they only had that one out of the three mornings I was there. Didn't use the pool, but looked at it. It appeared to be very small. Which wasn't a problem since I didn't use it. But, for a family with kids who want to swim they may be disappointed. Will likely be back in town on business and will stay again.

Was there for a professional training. The room was very nice and neat, and staff was very professional. Breakfast was also good. Bathroom needed clean the first day of the training, but was very nice second day. Overall good experience.

Really nice and worth what little extra we paid for their king suite. Modern and well kept. A few good college type eats nearby. View from our room was nice. Although we slept in thier hot breakfast smelled wonderful when we came down.

Loved this hotel. Sits on top of a mountain and overlooks the valleys down to the City and river. Rooms, lobby, beautiful patio with fire pit, fitness center, and pool all have this view. Delightful staff, lovely breakfast, beer and wine for sale. All exceptionally clean. Planning to go back. Highly recommend to travelers and locals.

What she amazing experience. Over the to breakfast, Kelly takes good care of you! Fresh food with a wide selection. I did not care for the genre of music playing (too loud). I did all the to turn it down and they did. Very clean!

We always stay at this hotel when visiting Huntington. It is I was very clean and the staff is always friendly. Complimentary breakfast was tasty, with options ranging from eggs and ham, to fruit and yogurt, to bagels. Definitely recommend this place.

This Fairfield Inn & Suites was beautifully decorated. The attendance at the front desk made my stay more enjoyable thanks for the great customer service. Will be returning and recommending to others.

Very clean, rooms were very nice, clean. Staff was very friendly, had a patio out back to sit an eat or just relax. Pool stays open till midnight. Just a suggestion they should have a curfew for children in pool. Couldn't get in pool because too many children.

The beds and rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and they carry special "Gluten Free" selections if you ask. This is a big plus for my family — as 3 of my children have Celiac Disease. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Overall it was a great experience.

Stayed here on several occasions, at least six, because the location is optimal for us and it is the best option in the immediate area. New hotel, so fairly clean… but the positives end there. Extremely loud due to poor construction and the perpetual traveling sports teams that frequent the hotel. The pool is abysmally small and shallow. Been told on multiple occasions by staff that "this isn't a full service hotel" when making fairly common requests. For example, front desk sells bottled wine (with corks) but has no wine opener. Many other examples like this. So, in a nutshell: You'll likely be safe here and there is a low probability of contracting an STD from the toilets… beyond that…?

New building, staff very friendly. Rooms are clean and good size and good appointments. Pool open til midnight and 24/7 gym, both nice. Room A. C. Good. Water pressure good. Hot breakfast was good. Cons: the place seems like it may be sub par construction? … things like door latches didn't like up, shower door wouldn't close all the way, floors creaked. Also we stayed here 2x… the second time we were told incorrect hours for breakfast and therefore missed it… which was a huge bummer and upsetting.

Marriott quality & practices made this feel like coming home. Not quite. But it was a good place to stay.

Very nice, modern looking lobby. I believe there was a pool, an exercise room, a large dining area, and a small snack shop by the front desk. Delivered a pizza here yesterday and as much as thats worth, I left wishing I could come back, lol.

Best looking Fairfield I've ever stayed in. Feels more like a Courtyard, I wish every Fairfield was like this one. The view was also fantastic, make sure to ask for a view of the valley. I could see the fog riding over the river in the distance past Marshall University. The free breakfast was the standard Fairfield breakfast offerings like veggie sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, oatmeal with good toppings, cereal, bread, and yogurt. Will absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is brand new so it is very clean to begin with. It has a modern look and feel with friendly staff. This hotel is great. I will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the loudest hotels I have stayed in. The door to the room slams so loudly that it rattles the floor from down the hall. The closet doors also cause so much noise from other guests rooms and you can hear voices through the walls. The staff is extremely friendly but I was so on edge I checked out 5 days early.
