AWESOME staff with the utmost customer service, very accommodating and pleasurable stay!

Just FYI Huntington Area folks. If you are visiting the Delta Hotel Huntington Downtown or anyone that is staying there … you have to have a permit to park even if you are visiting guests of the hotel! I parked in the empty spot thinking the other spots were for guests! Otherwise extremely rude people from Nicley’s towing will tow your car! I got to experience this tonight and my 8 yr old daughter had to hear the tow truck guy tell me “if I was too fxxking stupid to read then I deserved to have my car towed! ” Charged me $50 to drop my car and had ME drive it off the rack! When I called Nicley’s to report him my daughter again got to hear them be nasty to me and call me a liar and hung up on us! I will never recommend any of my friends or family to ever stay here!

I made reservations over a month ago and when I arrived I'm told they were canceled. I showed my confirmation for a suite including breakfast to be told no room is available! This place is a joke!

Huntington is a surprising small city. Lots to do and good places to eat. The Holiday Inn is a great place to spend a couple of days right in the middle of everything. Very comfortable.

Great location downtown. Well maintained and good service. I like coffee in the morning. Not sure why they only give us one regular coffee pod and one decaf. Every other hotel gives you two regular coffee packets in room. I end up going downstairs to get extra coffee pods.

This place was priced right, very clean rooms, all floors were perfectly structured and air flow was setup correctly. Our room was clean and was properly sanitized by the smell of bleach. Carpets were clean and the bed spreads were also perfectly sanitized. Overall, best Holiday Inn I stayed at in West Virginia. I would stay there again! Thanks to general manager for putting details first as it definitely was on display.

This hotel is great. Located directly in the heart of downtown Huntington so it is within a stones throw of several restaurants, multiple bars, shopping, a movie theater, an escape room, scenic views of the river, and the civic center if you're coming for a show or concert. The food is excellent and priced moderately as are the drinks. Convenient parking around the hotel as well as the parking garage.

Rooms were dated but large and clean. (I did catch a hint of stale cigarette undertones beneath the boquet of "new car smell" air freshener. ) The water pressure in the shower was great — could have used it to pressure wash my deck! Location is great, central to town. Staff was courteous and the breakfast buffet was acceptable.

The hotel is okay. Most of the staff are very kind, some are not. The rooms I have stayed in are clean enough but sometime I find small things that bug me. I really enjoy the food for room service. There are some renovations going on at the moment so sometimes you'll see 'water will be unavailable from X to X' or the big differences in rooms. The pool is small and the gym is as well doesn't seem clean.

Beds, are nice with fluffy pillows. Staff is always polite, helpful and friendly. Close to eating, entertainment and shopping.

Rooms where very clean and maintained as they always are, I have stayed here several times and have never had a problem with service. Conveniently located so you can walk to many restaurants, movie theater, and civic center, starbucks is within a stone's throw also.

Service was nice, food 3 out of 5 but tons of surrounding options for food. Outside of that everything was exceptional.

The place is nice, parking convenient. Most hotels in this catagory offer free breakfast, they claim to have " continental" breakfast which is a piece of fruit ar a prepackaged danish. Anything else cost $10. Rooms poorly lit and swtches poorly placed. Staff very friendly and helpful. They only have 1 guest washer and dryer so don't expect to access them, ever! Good for a night or 2 but not an extended stay.

Inexpensive Rates, Clean Rooms, Friendly Service.

Excellent location in the downtown area. Close to campus and restaurants. Breakfast is good, typical Holiday Inn faire, halls were noisey however.

They realky need to update this location, its clean, but the room is outdated and just because it says hoilday Inn doesn't mean its like the others…

Clean rooms. Amazing staff who were incredibly helpful and very nice. Big TV in the room and access to a lot of great restaurants within walking distance.

Had a great stay. We were there only as a quick overnight trip to see a show preformed at City Hall, but our stay was very nice. The room was great, staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had all of the amenities that we needed.

Desk staff was kind and helpful, lobby and accommodations were elegant and clean. Average and reasonably affordable hotel with a slightly upscale feel. Was great for our overnight stay in beautiful Huntington, WV!

Really nice hotel! Great service and always very clean. Lots of variety in reteraunts with in walking distance. The few square blocks around the arena next door, the hotel and Marshalls campus are very nice but the surrounding area is very poor with a major drug problem so stay close during the night time. But I've never felt in danger near the hotel.

It was great. The room was clean & had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. It's located close to fun places downtown.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room showed a lot of wear & tear. I've had more comfortable beds & pillows at other holiday inns.

Great hotel! Within short walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and a movie theater. Very large rooms, comfortable beds and linens, and always very clean. I’m here at least once a week for work overnights and have never had a bad experience. Great work everyone, other hotels should strive to have the quality of stay offered here.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was really nice. Service was great. Woukd stay there again for sure.

Our motorcycle broke down in the middle of nowhere. The hotel was the only one near the repair shop, but 35 miles from break down point. $280. When I asked about the breakfast I was told the price did not include it. Bottom line… a very expensive hotel, a Holiday Inn, for… a room… eh. I've stayed at nicer places for far less. That being said… it was very clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Nice rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a little outdated but they are still nice.

Comfortable clean not too pricey.

We attended a small memorial service at the Holiday Inn using their small conference room. The Hotel itself was beautiful with upscale finishes and the meeting room was private and adequate for our small group.

Great hotel. Location is amazing in the downtown area within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had some issues with the a/c unit not cooling enough but the hotel went above and beyond in correcting the issue and making sure we had a great visit. I would definitely stay here again.

The best thing about this hotel is there are decent places to eat walkable. The towing is overly aggressive, as we were towed in the time it took us to check in one year, before we could even put the ticket in the window. Rooms are decent, but the real reason for only rating 3 star is no outlets by the bed. Get with it people, every hotel should at bare minimum have a lamp with at least 2 plugs by the bed. This drives me crazy, everyone uses a phone. Cool little town for a short visit though.

Is a very nice place to stay. Employees were awesome, so helpful, helped to are room. We has a double, disability room. Which was great. Waiter — service was great in restaurant. Easy to find. Location was perfect for us to be able to get around town where we needed to go. Also we will stay again if needed. The picture of us at Jim's. Steak & Spaghetti was awesome. Try it. The hotels breakfast buffet was super and dinner was great also. Especially the multi lawyer chocolate cake. Was to die for. Got couple pieces to bring home with us. Beds comfortable, even for disabled person. Staff gave extra pillows. And she slept the best in ages.

Great location and the room was pretty standard. Good walkable for and drinks, which is a plus. Nice little town.

Nice enough, I guess, but the internet is extremely slow and randomly drops out entirely for no apparent reason. Bad enough for regular browsing, you can forget about downloading anything and streaming video? Forget about it. Even short videos in Facebook or YouTube freeze up and buffer constantly. Remember dial-up internet from the '90s? It's a lot like that. Rooms are nice, but all the lights are compact fluorescent so at night everything looks dim and sickly blue tinted. No clock in the room. Elevators are very s l o w. Maybe they run on the internet…

Very convenient location downtown near many restaurants and Marshall campus. Room was clean and bedding was very comfortable.

The suite was perfect except one of the main lights was burnt out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again.

Everything went as expected. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing below satisfactory.

Breakfast was not free, its $10 for a buffet. One of the big reasons I chose this hotel. If it wasn't too late to cancel I would be somewhere else. The internet was also extremely slow.

Rooms were clean and looked new. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Good shower pressure too.

Unhelpful staff. Business suite right beside utility closet, which is super loud with all the activity… so expect to get woken up early. Front desk lady didn't seem to care. Room was nice though.

Got there pretty late, but room was great. Everything was where it should be and I slept well. Comforter seemed to be a little short for the bed but overall great service.

Loved the decor in the public areas and the room was very comfortable. Enjoyed every aspect of our short stay. The hotel was within a short walking distance from all the entertainment we came into town to see.

Spent my elopement here. It was a wonderful hotel. Very comfortable bedding and pillows, and great guest service. They even took the time to make me a mimosa to have with my breakfast, even though it wasn't on the menu (wedding day jitters). Friendly town, wonderful people. Planning on coming back for our first anniversary soon!
