Checked in at 9:20 p. M, laid down at 10:15. Within 20 minutes, I was bitten 3 times by bed bugs and toilet seat wasn't attached to commode. Asked for a refund, but owner refused! Being a veteran, I asked for a prorated refund, he again refused! I left and checked in at the Econolodge. This motel is definitely the pitimy of all the hotels in the Huntington area! Definitely by pass this place!

We are moving across the country in a moving truck, towing a car, so finding a hotel with a place for us to park is nearly impossible. We finally found this place and I was skeptical they'd let us park here, but the man and woman (owners? ) at the desk were incredibly helpful and understanding. We stayed one night, the beds were comfortable, and the room was fairly clean, and the A. C. Worked. Admittedly, it had road sounds, and I could hear people right outside the door, but it was just what we needed to rest and get on our way. I definitely recommend this place to weary travelers.

Great staff. Very caring! Very upgraded! Beautiful now.

♥ I Enjoyed My Stay Here! May 19th — 21st 2018 I Spend a Few Days/Nights at: "MOTEL 6" — Huntington, West Virginia, and Must Say, l Was VERY Impressed, and Enjoyed it! The Inside of The Hotel Rooms, They Been Remodeling, and Updating Everything, and Currently Must be in the Process of Redoing, and Remodeling All of The Other Rooms, as Well! The Beautiful Hardwood Floors, and The Brand New Big Flat Screen TV. A Huge, Comfy Bed, The New Updated Look, and Style and, Also The Appliances, such as;. The Microwave, and Fridge,. Is Amazing! The Rooms are Absolutely Beautiful, and Pretty Spacious, and Decent in Size, however, The Bathroom, Even With a Bathtub and Shower Combo, It's Nice, Its just small. small stores, gas stations, and the main Highway, Ect … thanks,

Room was good but the rest of the property was run down and the location was in a rough area.

Over charged my card first of all. The room was not worth the price, that I was charged. I called the front desk and asked for another pillow, because we only had 3 pillows for 2 people. DON’T stay here, find somewhere else, not worth it!

The staff is super nice! Good price & big room, they do everything they can to make your stay comfortable:)

The proprietors were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed was pretty comfortable. It was a cold night and extra blankets would have been helpful. The motel was very close to the highway so it was a bit noisy with highway traffic but all and all it was ok for our needs.

Warning stay away. When we went into our room it was freezing cold. It was the same temperature outside as inside. The smoke detector was beeping. The water to the toilet and shower didn't work. The door to our room had a one inch gap around it. I could go on and on about this room. When I went to the office they said that they just reopened and shouldn't have. When I asked for a refund he gave me $20 out of $68. When I asked for my deposit back he said he just gave it to me. It was supposed to be the $20 refund for the room not my deposit. Don't stay here pay the extra $20 some place else.

Front desk associate was EXTREMELY rude! Room was not the best, the heater barely worked! Very poor hotel that is not worth the overcharged price!

Everything was pretty ok in a good way. Hard wood floors were nice. Could've been cleaner in the bathroom.

The bathroom was very dirty. Looked like the floor hadn't been mopped in weeks. And the commode had stuff running down the front of it. Whoever their maid service is needs to get better help.

We have been loyal to Motel 6 ever since we moved across the country with our 2 dogs and stayed nightly at locations along the way. However, our recent stay at Motel 6 in Huntington WV was very disappointing and I wanted to write this review because it did not meet the standards that we have experienced elsewhere. When we arrived to check-in, late and exhausted, the staff was hostel to us having dogs with us and questioned what kind and what size. They said there was a size restriction and I said your website explicitly says there are no restrictions on size as long as they were well-behaved and supervised (We have 1-15 lb dog and 1-60 lb dog — again we've never had any issues with staying at your other locations with them and never leave them unattended. ) We declared the dogs when we checked-in but they said they had the right to charge us extra for them. I again said that this was no where located in their policy. The room being dingy, with no tub stopper and unfinished renovations and the general unfriendliness of the staff I could look past, but our entire stay we felt unwelcome. Ita a terrible feeling to have as a customer and we did not have another option at that time to go to. What is most disappointing is that we would like to return to this location (we live nearby and have been doing home renovations that require us and the dogs to be out of the house at times) but I will not patronize this location again.

The workmanship on the room was shoddy. Bathroom tiles were cracked and drill holes in the walls. No towel rack. The Free Wi-Fi was worthless. The signal was very weak. The picture on the TV was blurry and barely watchable. There was no chair in the room.

The room was new and clean, which we appreciated. But the sinks did not work and shower did not function. We did not feel safe in the area, the room sounds from next door felt like they were inside our room. As the room was bare, the sound was reverberating.

It was clean and staff was nice, but coffee in lobby and been sitting there for almost 12 hours. The shower had very little hot water, the toilet moved, nowhere to put shampoo and soap in shower. There was sterphon everywhere.

PUre nasty &Poor poor poor service! Bed bug infested. I found bed bugs in both rooms. First room I showed them a few dead bugs I had killed on pillows and sheets… I was then moved to another room and next day later as I was leaving I found another one! Talk about blood boiling They literally tried to give me a 20$ discount! The woman at front desk was rude and had told me if I didn't like it to go down the street to another hotel. How professional? I say they need shut down! Worst place ever been to Pay the extra 10 and go to days inn.

Exterior looked like a dive. Front desk clerk was rude, refused to give us the military discount even though we had our disabled Navy Veteran aunt with her ID with us. Also refused our payment because my husband was presenting our aunt's card on which he is an authorized signer (he is her Full time caregiver and she would have verified that as she was right outside in the car). We have stayed in Motel 6s in nearly every state with a vet's discount and the very same card for payment and this was the rudest we've ever experienced. We went elsewhere.

Very rude at front desk, after paid for room they asked for a $20 deposit. Then seeing I had cash raised it up to 40. After checking in my room with my pregnant fiancé was asked twice three the night while smoking outside if I wanted to buy drugs. Can't believe this place is still in business. Need to get better employees or just flat out new ownership. Disgrace of a place would give this place negative stars if I could.

Only thing I think is that a microwave an refrigerator should be available in each room. Other than that is great here… :-)

Management was attentive to my needs… however the traffic noise from the 4 lane highway 30' away from my door was not acceptable. The room door needs a material around the jamb to keep out the sound. One could see day light around it. I know it was only fifty bucks… but on the way home I took my 50 bucks elsewhere to a motel @ least a block from the highway.

Do not stay here. This is literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and I travel often. Was charged $106 for the nastiest room. I had a bad feeling from the start but was exhausted from driving and the jacuzzi looked good. The rooms absolutely are not as clean as they look in the pictures. People were doing drugs right outside of my hotel room. My sheets weren't changed, what looked like pubic hair all over, ashes, burn marks, mildew, mold, dirty toilet, no toilet paper on roll, dirty towels. They did provide me a refund, but only after the clerk yelled at me. A gentleman had walked in while I was explaining my situation, and decided to stay somewhere else because of what he overhead. The clerk then proceeded to yell at me and tell me I have no right to say things like that in front of other people while they are trying to run a business. I felt very unsafe the entire time. The whole situation was awful and I would recommend going down the street to the other CHEAPER hotels. I got a room elsewhere and it was near half the price, clean, quiet and safe. Just saying.

I have stayed at the Motel 6 in Huntington VW twice now and both times the rooms have been very clean, the people at the front desk really nice and were both very enjoyable stays.

The front desk person was friendly and took care of my needs. Especially when the last guess smoked in a smoke free room. The rooms were run down but the beds were clean. It was very affordable. What can I say?

Clean a little scary since I'm not a local. But I realized the contractor was there the next morning to finish updates. Actually the people seemed fine people from other states just went in rooms lol. It's a good night sleep though and that's all we needed. Oh shower too. Save money that's my moto.
