It all started out fine…. The daytime staff when I arrived were wonderful. Then at around 11pm I gotten woken up cuz I could feel something crawling on my face. I swatted at my face and a small roach fell on my sheet. I instantly killed it. I called down to the desk and the clerk I spoke with asked if I wanted a new sheet? A new sheet? I said I wanted a new room? Wth? So they moved me to a new room on the same floor. Get to the room, and the fridge and phone doesn’t work. So I had to go downstairs to the desk to let them know. They then moved me to the 6th floor. I wanted to view the room first so they sent a person up with me to show me the room. We get to the 6th floor and he asks me what room number? I said I have no idea that’s your job? He said you don’t remember the room number? Isn’t that the key your holding? I said no it’s the other room? It’s not my job to have the key when your showing me the room? He got frustrated and went back downstairs. I must have annoyed him cuz another person came back up and showed me the room. I moved into that one. Not one time did management or front desk assist me in moving all of my bags and belongings to either rooms. I have been staying at Hilton hotels for a long time for business and I’ve NEVER experienced the level of hospitality and a roach issue. Very disappointed and disgusted. They did comp me a nights stay, which I expected honestly. But just very disappointed.

We live in Charleston and come here for a mini getaway often this trip wasn't so great. We love breakfast here it's a big drawing point, today it was terrible. We even ordered omelets. Nothing was cooked or even stocked very well. We love a fountain coke with breakfast and they didn't even have it open like it has been on previous stays Fell like it definitely wasn't worth the money this mini getaway.

Rude light skin little boy at front desk. Premium parking complete mess They gave our spot to some random guest after we paid and been there all day hate to say it but I do believe it’s because we’re BLACK and she was white. did nothing but take charge off my card. Did all of this while we’re out for someone’s birthday. Didn’t find out until we tried to park at 1am Not to mention the last time we got threatened to be towed because they thought we didn’t pay! But oh never threatened the lady who STOLE our parking spot WE PAID FOR 👀 We’re Hilton Honors members and have spent wayyyyy too much money for the pure disrespect from the kids working desk and unprofessional management In all aspects. Still have yet to speak to a member of management. Pay $230 for hard old box springs to sleep on, can’t call it a mattress. I can keep going Very disappointed with our last stay Will not be staying again Another hotel can have all this money GO TO THE MARRIOTT PEOPLE!

Spacious room, friendly staff, beautiful lobby, had 2 complimentary drinks and both were tasty…stayed for my daughter’s birthday.

No hot tub! The manager’s special is the worst ever. 2 drinks and a bag of snack chips. The pool closes at 9pm, and the exercise room is open until 11pm🙄. They close and shut down the lobby at 12:00 am and I am not looking forward to the breakfast which I’m sure will be a huge disappointment as well. I will not ever be back here when there are other more fun and better choices in this town.

The atmosphere was calming and relaxed. The pool was great though it did NOT have a hot tub which was upsetting.

They were very welcoming and there was so many options for food close by. There wasn’t an available parking spot for us when we got there and they saw we had small children with us and they made a spot for us so we wouldn’t have to haul them a far way.

The lobby is absolutely awesome. The rooms were massive. Employees were very friendly an helpful. I would recommend, an will definitely stay here again.

We would like to thank Embassy Suites for an amazing Valentines evening. As the winners of Valentines Contest, We were given a room and a three course meal.
The room was wonderful. It was quiet and spotless! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room decor was very modern but warm.
All three courses of our food were absolutely delicious. The fish stuffed with shrimp was incredible. The chocolate strawberries were scrumptious.
Even though the hotel was packed, we never felt like we were constantly running into people.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for an amazing evening. We will definitely stay here again as a little getaway.

Our experience was good from checking in to checking out. Every staff person we dealt was friendly, helpful and polite. It was also not far off the interstate and a mall was across the street.

The breakfast was GREAT! Snacks at night eh, room service everyday was mediocre, one day they left us without any toilet paper and when we first got there hairs were everywhere in the bathroom.

Do not stay here in 2019. There are extensive renovations going on, no where to park or access valet and the management can only say sorry for the mess. The hotel is still charging rates in excess of 150 dollars a night for an experience that mimics Beirut in the 80s. I will not be back.

Poor communication upon making reservations. No one informed us that lobby and parking lot are closed due to renovations.

The breakfast and the free happy hour drinks and snacks were delightful. The staff was not as friendly as I have experienced with Hilton in the past. Also the lobby bathroom was not clean and the rooms seemed very damp. Not. Great value.

Very disappointed in the Embassy Suites in Charleston WV. The furniture in our two suites was worn out, faded and smelly. I really didn’t want to sit down but didn’t have much choice. The bed were sloppily made and questionable—the sheets were wrinkled and messy. There were several years worth of dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor. When we checked in at 4 p. M. On a busy Saturday, only one elevator of the three was working. It took a long time to get to our rooms. The indoor pool had so much choline in the pool and hot tub that it burned our nose and eyes. This whole place needs a complete makeover. Hilton should be ashamed and embarrassed to have their name on this place. However, the employees we had contact with were very pleasant, friendly and professional. Oh, one more thing. We drove one vehicle and had two suites but we were charged for two parking spaces at $15 each. Now since we are local, we knew we could had parked at the mall for $1.75. When I told the front desk we only had one car and knew the mall was $1.75, he took the charge off both suites.

I usually really enjoy this place, but I am here for a conference which ends at 4:30. I brought my family and they won't let them stay in the room till the conference is over (an extra 2.5 hours in the room). We always stay here when we are in Charleston. I am really let down by this.

Spent NYE 2017 here. Not impressed. Accommodation need upgraded. Very dated Hilton property. Hilton needs to visit WV and remodel this property. Stayed in Hilton in Easton 2 nights before. Fantastic property. The NYE party was very nice but the dance floor turned into an alcoholic swimming pool with multiple accidents of broken glass and spilled drinks. The DJ had announced multiple times no drinks on the floor but the crowd did not obey the rules and no Hotel staff enforced them. It was very crowded and nice but the dance floor became very disgusting very quickly for that caliber of a party. Food for thought. People dancing with no shoes and glass breaking not a good combination.

This is great to place to stay if u need easy access to the Hospital. My elderly In-laws stayed here. There courtesy van helped them to & from the Hospital. The staff helped them order room service since my Father-in-Law had surgery & my Mother-in-Law is unable to drive. The staff was such a big help. Their room was fantastic. Thank you so much for going the extra mile!
