Great front desk staff, clean & spacious king suite.

Very nice lady at check in and I love the rooms.

Helpful and Courteous front desk staff. Comfortable beds. Refrigerator and Microwave.
However, due to Covid-19, No Amenities and No Free Breakfast.
(I would suggest that, with McDonald's being next door, they could arrange for some free breakfast sandwich coupons) … Alternatively, at LEAST individually wrapped danish to go with the Complimentary Coffee they DO provide.

The person at the desk said room had 2 queen sized beds. Nope. Full sized.

Close to the exit and has gas stations and fast food restaurants right beside here. Nice people that work here. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Our room was not made up and we did not have any new towels. The lady at the front desk was very polite and apologised.

We had a good time here. The room was clean and spacious. The attention of the staff was great. Breakfast was yummy and we'll prepared. It is conveniently located close to the beach and the pier, and also the USS Yorktown and submarine. We will visit it again soon.

Absolutely great for the price. Beds and room were clean, smelled great. The breakfast was beyond what was expected and the man in charge of the breakfast buffet was super friendly to my kid. He even helped him get some apple juice! They had cheese omelets, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and a waffle iron to make fresh waffles. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely search this one out!

It is located less than five minutes from the USS Yorktown museum which is a popular tourist destination. Our room with a king size bed was clean and very large. We had a comfortable couch and chair. The was a refrigerator, as well as a tv. The channel selection was very good. The included breakfast was the usual choice of waffles, scrambled eggs, but also yogurt and cottage cheese. The coffee was not all that great. The parking area is very large.

We booked a smoking suite for one night. We arrived and the toilet was plugged. It took about 30 minutes for someone to come handle that. The toilet seat was so loose that it would actually move while you were sitting on it. I am not a large or clumsy person and I almost fell off it a few times during our stay. We went outside to use the pool, but it was padlocked. The padlock was not removed during our stay. There was no thunder or anything. Just closed. We returned to our room tried to turn on the TV and that didn't work. The sound worked, but not the screen. That took over an hour to get a replacement. The shower curtain had a lot of mold on it in the bathroom and there was hair in that tub and the jacuzzi in the room. The comforter had a lot of holes in it from cigarettes. I woke up the next morning with bug bites all over my legs. Breakfast was the most pathetic one I've EVER had and I've stayed at some sketchy motels. The juice, coffee, and waffle batter were watered down to the point that it was absolutely DISGUSTING. The waffles actually fell apart when we pulled them out of the waffle maker. The milk for the cereal was even watered down! We went back to our room to make coffee there in the coffee maker provided for that room and upon opening it up to put water in, discovered that it had not been cleaned in a very long time. There was dust and hair in it. So we ended up going across the parking lot and buying breakfast at McDonalds.

We stayed here for two nights in August on our way home from Florida. It's in a good location that's right over the bridge. The room was clean but had a musty smell and the view out of our window was the backside of another building. The have a great continental breakfast with a lot of options. I would recommend if your looking for a decent stay at a decent price.

A friend's experience with this particular hotel over the weekend. This is an embarrassing thing to post because it acknowledges something not many people know about me/my son. But it was an experience I think needs light on it because of how the people in our country have grown to treat one another, so I am willing to expose myself to make a point. My son is homeless. He is also five hours away from my home. He catnaps during safe hours and wanders at night. This past week, he secured a union plant job that required clearing a drug test and he had orientation today and starts Monday. As a congratulations to him, I offered to put him in a motel close to work Sunday night so he could have a good night's rest and a long hot shower before his first day. Booking a hotel/motel and not having the credit card upon check in is a difficult thing. Motel 6 has worked with me in the past on two occasions fairly seamlessly. The closest one with the best rate near his new job was a Days Inn. I called them directly to arrange a room and explain that he wouldn't have a credit card upon check in and it all needed to be done "third party" via my credit card. I was told I could reserve it and be billed for it, but he would need a credit card on file to stay there. I humbly informed them he wouldn't have one — that he was currently homeless and I was trying to help him and he was starting a new job. Her answer? "He's homeless? I'm sorry I cannot help you. We don't want that here.

I work there and I love it.

Everything is great, room is clean, the people are nice. The breakfast was real good not just donuts and muffins. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Oh and the king suite with spa tub was awesome!

THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS**** I got out of the hotel and started itching BADLY. I have bites ALL OVER my body. I was fine before entering this hotel. I'll attach a picture in a moment if possible. People in the parking lot were propositioning people for a "good time. " Two looked like they were living out of their van in the parking lot. The room had a used sock and toothpicks on the floor. It smelled like stale cigarettes. The curtains didn't close correctly. The phone was disconnected. You needed a key card to not ONLY get into the room but to get into the BUILDING. This should tell you all you need to know about how bad the situation is outside the building. They only offered shampoo. No conditioner. Seems trivial, but it goes to show that the place seems to have given up a little. I would give 0 stars if possible.

It was very nice and clean.

This Days Inn was very affordable and the breakfast was included with the room. The staff was very friendly. This hotel has seen better days though. It was quite run down and everything but the mattresses and linens showed signs of extreme wear. Additionally, the breakfast area had room for about 30 people, but there were probably 200+ people checked in. This led to an overflowing and chaotic space that was standing room only until you could claim a table. Being so inexpensive, the average guest seemed to be people passing through on vacation with lots of small children adding to the general madness. The staff did their absolute best to keep the food and supplies stocked, tables cleaned, and guests happy. I do not blame the hotel for the other guests that we're there, but just understand what to expect if staying here in the summer months.

Nice area. Staff is very friendly. The hotel needs to be updated. Bathtub has black spots in it. A dark brown ring in the toilet. Toilet paper holder is rusty. Hotel was full, and they couldnt move us.

The rooms are lovely. Nice decor clean. The young lady who checked me in at midnight welcoming and friendly. However the morning staff who appear to be the owners were curt and not friendly. Pete and Mike as they seem to name themselves to blend in to the white community are very business minded as their name Patel suggests. I assume being that they are Indian male and knew me to be an Indian woman traveling alone and scruffy looking had their prejudices up and perhaps therefore curt. They talked rudely to their own obviously impoverished white woman housekeeper. Thats is behaviour common to Indian male who have built in biases towards women and poverty.

My 1st time staying here and we loved it! Breakfast was great, the hostess in the breakfast area was awesome and friendly. I liked that I could walk to the Waterfront Park. Pool is small but nice. Will stay here again!

I checked out and left a pair of Beats ear buds behind by accident of June 2nd. I can not get management to call me back this is an expensive item and I was very upset I left them and made someone aware and no one will return my call. If an item is left in a room should it not be common practice to notify management and then have them notify the client. You have my phone email and address. I hope this is not the way Wyndham does business. If the housekeeper took the item and didn't report it that is a shame. I travel several times during the year and if this is the way I'm treated I will never return to Wyndham resorts.

Really good place to stay in Charleston not too expensive very clean good service the lady that make your breakfast she sings in the morning she is very sweet loved her all around good service.

We just started here the last 4 days and three nights and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We loved the staff and they cut up and laughed with us like they have known us for years… I only wish I had gotten some of their names and kept in touch. I don't know what hotel a couple of these 1 star reviewers stayed at, but it wasn't this one. Beautiful, very clean, spacious room, very nice ladies at the front desk. One of the better hotels I've stayed in over the past 48 years, certainly the nicest around Charleston.

If you get a chance to meet Keisha at the front desk, you have found the diamond of the staff. She is a sweetheart with extensive knowledge of the local area and a willingness to aim you in the right direction to maximize your tourist needs. BUT my visit included full daily pricing for my room. Yet I have not only not received my points credit, the GM of the property has ignored two emails asking (very politely) for an explanation. It's a decent enough place, but be aware you just might miss out of your earned Choice Rewards points.

Room was clean and noise level was okay. Pillows were bargain basement quality and offered little support. Coffee pods used were not replaced the second day. Toilets were low and a person with knee problems might need their cane to stand up as there was nothing in reach to hold on to.

The room was clean but furniture was shabby, hence the loss of a star. The towels were thin but worked fine. The bed was very comfortable which is rare. There were no disturbances beyond hearing a person or two leaving their rooms, which is usual anywhere. The back side of the building was a delight in the morning as the sun came shining in over the mountains and the river. It was lovely. The water was hot and plentiful. The photos are of some furniture looking worn, and the room looking messy (my own doing) but beautiful with the sun coming in as I ate my breakfast and one of the river.

We came to this hotel because we came into town for a funeral. At check in they require a credit card to hold and tell you that you can pay cash when you check out, fine. Get to room and notice right away there is mold in the shower. The biggest problem is that there was roaches crawling on the walls. At checkout we told the front desk and was told they would pass to housekeeping and the manager and that I would get a phone call. Still no phone call yet. The same lady who told me I could pay cash would not take cash because she charged my card. I told her I did not want it on my card and basically she said too late. Miserable experience and based on that, I will avoid any Wyndham property in the future. No concern for customer issues, just charge you and let you go.

The room was great for the low price. Nothing fancy but met my needs. Staff was very kind and helpful. Will stay there again if I have to.

Amazing service. Our room wasn’t in working order when we arrived and they moved us immediately to a different suite. The staff continued to go out of their way to help our stay be better. So pleased and will definitely stay again. Not to mention the breakfast was seclusion and well stocked the whole time!

For the price of about 70$, for the wife and I, king room was spacious, with a small seating area and desk. Bed was nice and comfortable but nothing too fancy or plush. There wasn’t much else left for a basic room. Water-view was nice. It may had been a previous smoking room as it did have a small odor to it and the gap for the floor to the door I could fit my XL hand under flat so we heard anything and everything outside the room was heard. Staff super helpful and breakfast was de met for such a cheap location.

Awful. Once we were finally in a room that had been cleaned (yes… Our first two rooms had not been cleaned), I found the room in desperate need of help. Not only was it messy, but it was dirty. The bedding was stained and the bathroom had stuff laying around… as if the cleaner gave up halfway through. We also had cockroaches in the room. Many… especially near the kitchen area. My kids were scared of them and I was completely disgusted. That many cockroaches were unnaceptable. Upon checkout, all the staff member said was "well… this is the south". No. No reason for it to be that bad. Some of the staff were kind people… Not their fault. But this hotel rates lower than any other hotel/motel my family has ever stayed at. Also, the television didn't work half the time and there seemed to be sawdust on the ground between the beds. Why?

From the day I checked in I was very pleased with the experience. The front desk employee, Monica was a welcoming face who immediately made you feel at home. Her personality was humble, sincere, and pleasant with a smile that just made you feel warm. The room was very pleasing, clean and comfortable. I felt secure in the building and my surroundings. The day of check out, to my surprise there was Monica there again to greet me with that same warm smile and a sincere concern if my stay had been acceptable. You do not find many people like this in this world and to have her with your company is a great asset. Upon departure I found myself wanting to give this fine person a hug to let her know she is so much appreciated in this world. I would definitely visit this establishment again and hope to see Monica to brighten my day. Please be so kind to recognize this dear lady for being who she is. It is much deserving.

Great location. Friendly staff. The heating/ cooling unit makes a lot of noise. The floors are also very noisy. The t. V. Channels kept losing signal, which I really don't understand. Breakfast is on the 2nd floor in a weird setup. And, the pool isn't heated, so we couldn't take advantage during a spring break vacay. But again, the people are very nice.

Very pleased staying at this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is great, there is a small kitchenette, a desk and chair, a sitting area with a couch and chair, along with two very confortable beds! Everything was very cleaned, and smelled nice and fresh. The location is amazing, it is close to the beach, downtown Charleston, and is surrounded by great restaurants! Really enjoyed my stay here at the Quality Inn and Suites, I will be staying here again!

Nasty, nasty, nasty! Will NEVER stay here again. We left half way through the night tonight and got a room at the Holiday Inn cause we saw 3 roaches and some crack head was puking all over the steps where you enter. Now I have to talk to the manager Pete in the morning to get a refund. Do NOT stay at this roach infested crack house.

Bed was uncomfortable. Holes in covers. Three lights in room were blown. Heat was messed up. Either burned up or froze. No in between. Tv didn't come in very well. All channels looked fuzzy. Room had cobwebs all over. Only good thing was the shower and the lady at the front desk was nice.

This place is awesome! Drove from Pittsburgh PA and the lady at the front desk was great! She was very friendly and funny. Very people oriented. Staying here for one night and catching the cruise ship Saturday.

It's a awesome place to stay For a guy, the golf course is at the end of the parking lot at the back end and to the right. Right only 25+ feet on the left are the baseball field, the softball field and even soccer and rowing. For the first ladies, hwy 17 is at the other end of the parking lot. For all the the shoppings that they want to do. And last thing I want to, say, the staff is awesome and the rooms are spacious and great, bc.

Do not walk, RUN AWAY, literally and stay away from this disgusting and vile filth for a couple of things. First hotel claims to be smoke free yet the putrifying, pungent ador of stale cigarrette smoke is suffocating. Next, the toilet stopped working after one flush. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes between flushes. That's not all. There was just half a roll of toilet paper. Automatically l called the front office. First time no one picked the phone. Tried again and explained our predicament (NO TOILET PAPER! in the toilet). The receptionist sirprisingly appeared unmoved said she couldn't bring us a roll because she didn't have anyone to send. Needless to say, l had to walk across to the front desk which by the way is not attached to the main building — in freezing rain and snow to get one roll of TOILET PAPER. L voiced our frustration and the receptionist told me to speak to the manager because they had raised these concerns and no action was taken. Ln addition, she noted her job was the front desk and she was not responsible for anything else. Disgusting, experience. Never again⛔

Patel the manager is very rude as well as his front desk staff. Rooms are NOT clean. Information on website is misleading. This hotel does not even deserve 1 star. We left and stayed at a clean hotel. We were not refunded even leaving before staying in the dirty room less than 10 minutes. I would NOT recommend this hotel to my worst enemy if I had any.

Very clean and wonderful staff. Just steps to downtown Gatlinburg. If you sit on the balcony at night you may even see a bear. Wonderful place to save and at a really good price. I will be staying again.

Made a reservation for a family of 5 requesting a roll away bed. Called THE DAY OF MAKING THE RESERVATION (a month in advance) to confirm I could get the extra bed. Was told yes for $10 Upon check in the day of the reservation I was told they were gone. It was explainwd to me that ineasnt the only one and calling and /or making comments on the reservation would bot ensure my reservation. I could, of course, book another room for twice what I paid for the 1st room. The attendant said she would get me extra pillows and blankets at her convienence and then never showed. I have a 2nd reaervation I am cancelling. Do not stay here!

Very impressed staying at this Days Inn. Hospitality goes a long way. When I 1st walked in and met Monica, the mgr. Of the hotel, she was very professional on getting me a room for the evening. The room was clean, spacious & quiet on my stay. In the morning the continental breakfast was decent. Overall, this is a good valued hotel when your in town. Thanks Days Inn.

Convenient location, friendly staff and fair price! The breakfast is nice and the staff works very hard to assist with all your needs. Would receive 5 stars if it is renovated the facility is older but still comfortable! If you need a nice warm bed at a fair price in the area this is a good choice!

The best thing about this hotel is perhaps its location, but there aren't many more positive aspects. It is wholly an average hotel at best, with a good breakfast although served in a strange space that makes traffic flow problematic. My room was dated, with stained furniture and an older bed/mattress. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach, enough that I requested my room NOT be cleaned during my stay. The bathroom had serious issues with mold/mildew around the tub, and really ugly water stains from faucets that were almost impossible to turn fully off. After looking around in the area, I would gladly pay another $20-30/night for a much better experience.

Friendly, reasonably clean and good value. Need a place to stop for the night? This works nicely. Resort or romantic getaway? Keep looking.

That the motel was clean. The restaurant ladies were friendly and breakfast was great. When I checked in, the man at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Only complaint was the two women who were at front desk later on Saturday and Sunday. They were rude to say the least, but will stay there our next trip to Charleston.

I asked for a room with 2 beds as I had a guest. They gave me the" upgrade " as they termed and 1 king bed, as if I suddenly decided to start sharing a bed with a friend. Made staff aware and was put in a room that was filthy. Paid cash, manager Steve offers full refund, that didn't happen. AAA even contacted Steve, he lied. Paid for a room that I refused to stay in and really caused a problem between the young lady friend and I. I do not recommend this service to anyone.

Not a bad place. They actually still offer smoking rooms. Don’t worry, all the smoking rooms are contained in their own building, not connected to the non-smoking building. Wish the cable TV was simplified. Too many channels with no signal.

We stayed here for a week, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was awesome & the ladies preparing it were so nice, especially Ms. Colette House keeping & front desk staff were also friendly & courteous. Great price too! Can't beat the location either!

We stayed here for the extra days that we were not with our large party at a near by resort. The rooms were clean showed a little wear and tear but for the money it was worth it. Breakfast was good and the house housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk help were ok, they did not seem to enthused to be helping you. I would stay again, it was economical.

We have stayed here twice in the last two years when we go on our family vacation. The rooms are very nice and the customer service is excellent! The only draw back is they do not have gluten free options at the Continental breakfast.

I use this hotel yearly for trips to Charleston. Always clean and friendly, and the two queen suites are nice and spacious. Better than average breakfast, as well. I plan to continue to use this hotel for my travels.

Great location. Room surprised me with a big jetted tub. Actually had bacon for breakfast which is a big plus for me. Decent water pressure. King suite had plenty of room.

The room was dirty and smelled very musty. There was old garbage behind the furniture. The lady that checked us in 9/2 was not friendly and rude when we asked for more clean towels. The next morning at 6a we asked to be switched to a different room; we were given a new room and it was more clean with no smell, but it did have garbage behind furniture. The lobby also smelled musty. We stayed at this hotel in 8/2016 and were very satisfied. Not sure why it was so bad this year. I do not want to return ever to this Quality Inn location and would not recommend it to anyone.

Average hotel. Mini fridge and microwave. Nice sized TV with plenty of programming. It's close to a Hooters and the rest of town. Bed sheets and the floor were typical but the bed was fairly comfortable.

The staff are very friendly and professional. Morning breakfast was good and the preparer was amazing. Location of hotel was convenient. There is a smell to the place that is not so pleasing to the nose almost like a mildew smell. Rooms should be a little cleaner than what the house cleaners are doing. Dust on the furnitures, rim of the tub had mildew, roaches in our microwave and the floors feel damp.

We wrecked our car on the interstate and needed a place to stay overnight. The rooms were clean and nice but the people are what makes this hotel so good! The staff was amazing and so sweet and thoughtful. The continental breakfast was good too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel was a great price. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing super fancy but it met our needs. The breakfast included toast, cereal, and fresh waffles from a waffle maker. The lobby bathroom was out of both soap and paper towels, but that was relatively minor. Overall it was good value for the money.

We had a great stay at the Days Inn! The room was very clean, smelled fine, the bedding looked clean (I hope it actually was). We had a great view of the river behind the hotel out our window. We swam in the pool (it opens at ~9:30 a. M. And closes at 9 p. M. Just FYI. They had breakfast, which included Waffles!, cereal, bread to be toasted (few varieties), scrambled egg circles & GoGurt (both in the mini fridge in the breakfast area), and OJ/Apple Juice/Coffee/Milk. The waffles were worth the wait in line. Our kids had plenty to eat and weren't complaining, so it was sufficient. We were hesitant to book because of other reviews, but decided to give it a try since they were so much less than the next cheapest available. We have no complaints about our stay and would recommend it to others looking for an affordable hotel. There is a McDonald's next door (if that is your thing), Little Caesar's Pizza less than 2 minutes down the road (our choice), and other restaurants nearby. Great hotel stay that you can't beat for the price.

Location is pretty good. Rooms are well sized and a good fit for small family. The service is great they are very friendly and put in consideration for small kids. The breakfast is great it is hot. They have gravy and biscuits, sausages, bacon, scramble eggs, waffles. They have juice and the work people are friendly.

My husband and I stayed in a suite. It was pretty gross. First thing we did was roll up the sticky bed cover and put it on the floor, the top was sticky and there was make up and glitter clumps and smudges on the underside of it. The jacuzzi tub had a big wad of hair in it and it didn't turn on unless you turned the water mains on thru an open hole under the bathroom sink, when it was on the cold never went off so it was either in and out, in and out or a cold bath. The room stank. There was stale soft wet peppermint candies by the bed, yuk. Only one cup of regular coffee and one cup of decaf for two people. There is no cable, crappy channels. Ugh. Will not stay here again.

Terrible management. Very rude. Hope you know how to do maintenance in case something breaks down in your room. They just give you a plunger and tell you to fix the toilet. Oh! And bring extra towels!

Great location! The Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was clean and modern. This is a great place to stay in Charleston SC. You can be Downtown or Isle of Palms in 10 minutes. Hard to beat.

Without contacting me the manager denied discount that was applied due to their own incompetence of misplacing the needed paperwork and then charged my card for balance difference two days after check out. Manager, Amber, is rude and will not return a phone call and neither will her supervisor. Front desk staff, well at least Mike, are unprofessional and very undertrained. The breakfast here is the worst I have ever been offered at any place I've stayed during my 45 years of life. Still waiting for the refund they told me they were processing. Had to deal with trying to get extra charge refunded while dealing with unexpected death in family. Would recommend you drive quickly past this location! Will be warning family, friends and anyone I run into not to stay here.

This was the best hotel experience I have had in a long time. The check in was quick and the front desk lady, Nancy was so sweet she answered all of my questions and was very kind. The rooms were spotless and smelled very clean. I will definitley be coming back here… Thanks Nancy.

The Receptionist was very very nice and sweet… Her name was Molly… She gave us a discount … The only things we didnt like is the ciggarette smoke is so thick in the air it will knock u down… and Two Women across the hall were fighting so bad and loud… I had to stick my head out the door and say, we have three small children can yall please have some respect and stop and then the lady started cussing me… Eventually the cops came and handled everything… But the Continental breakfeast was great! They have a variety of everything…!

Worst experience EVER. I booked this dump on line, after seeing good reviews. They must have been fake. I have never been greeted in such a Rude way, No hello, just a give me your credit card and drivers license. But she did take the time to yell at another guest bringing in her luggage “ Remember No Pets, No Smoking” while she was looking up my reservation. I had requested a handicap bath room on line, but said there was only one in the hotel and it was taken The motel smelled moldy and was very dated. But after driving for 10 hours, I was just ready to go to my room and relax. After our wonderful greeting, we went to our room. It was freezing, so I tried to turn down the air conditioner, but the switch did not work, so I went down to Miss Charming at the front desk, and she said I just didn’t know that it was the same “noise”. She said she would move us to another room if the air conditioner was really defective, but added saying “hope you didn’t mess up the room” We had been in it 5 minutes… But when the maintenance man to came, he said that the unit had to be replaced and he didn’t have another, she said well something had to be done since she had to “ sell” that room. She did put us in another room across the hall, but after moving all of our luggage, AGAIN, my 89 year old Mother In Law turned on the TV, but the volume didn’t work, would not go above level 4, and the close caption also didn’t work.

One of the worse hotel experiences EVER, from the start to the end. The biggest reason for us staying there is because they said they had a pool for our AAU basketball team of teenage boys. Upon arrival, they informed us they did have one, but it was not yet open. The manager stated that she could not refund our money for us to take the boys elsewhere, but after some going back and forth agreed to give us a discount for the first night and IF she could not get the pool open the next day we could just leave. However, upon check out she had not informed the desk clerk about the discount, and the desk clerk stated she was not authorized to do this. She said she would take our room numbers and let us know what the manager decides. That was only one of the issues, however. Upon entering the room there was a musty smell. We cleaned and sanitized it, but that smell did not leave the room. The next day we were left no towels and when we returned that evening for the boys to shower, we were told that there was only one towel available but "someone had wiped makeup on it. " We had to go out and get towels for our boys after a long day of basketball. The issues were not exclusive to me. Some of our parents experienced flooding toilets, heavy stains on floors and shower curtains. I think it is very safe to say that we will never take our boys to that place again.

Decent place near the bridge and aircraft carrier. A bit aways from town but better prices. We just drove over the bridge into town and parked all day at the visitor's center.

The guy at the reception desk was very rude and unprofessional. His last name was Patel, He kept mentioning that "if you damage something, you have to pay for it". He make it Sound like I was a voilence and aggressive tupe of person. He kept mentioning About if we gonna damage we will need to pay for it… Even after after I signing the paper. It make us feel like we were a bad person and had never rented a hotel before. Very unprofessional receptionist/manager!

The building our room was in was very clean and quiet. Our bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water. Our friends we were traveling with told us the next morning not to bother with breakfast there. They threw theirs away and said the coffee was awful. We went to the McDonald's (you can walk there) and had the biggest and best sausage and egg biscuit we've ever had at a McDonald's.

Horrible experience. The electrical outlet had no cover on it. Tried to plug my phone in and it pushed into the wall. The phone didn't work. The TV remote didn't work. They changed my room and the hair dryer didn't work. The chair had a burn mark. I left my phone charger I called them to this day no one had returned my call. The breakfast was a joke. One choice of fruit, dried bread, frozen cheap waffles, generic syrup, and yogart. The chairs in the breakfast area were filthy. I will never stay there. They transfered a call through around 430 am. No one had my hotel room no. So no calls should have rung through. Yes l am ranting, but it was a horrible experience.

Service was not the best. We almost lost our room because our reservation was canceled. We were then told that we could get a room but at a higher price than originally booked. The bed was not very comfortable even for a king size bed. The breakfast was good and had plenty of options to choose from.

Walking through the hallway to our room the smell of cigarettes was bad. Our room was dirty and smelled bad. The Jacuzzi tub was what I had been looking forward to all day, was very dirty, I cleaned it myself. We were kept awake most of the night by doors slamming and pounding from the room upstairs. There were cigarette burns in the bed sheets and just overall not worth the 150$ I paid for it. So very disappointed… : (

This hotel is located in a great area right outside of Charleston. The rooms are pretty nice. I wish they would have had refrigerators in them though.

Very nice Staff after a long day at the hospital with my son. This is our second stay here. Very resonably priced and OK cleaninliness. Beds seem comfy. Smoking and non smoking rooms. Late winter so no idea on pool. Floors could be a little cleaner but overall no problems here.

Overall a good experience. Hotel is a little old but has been kept up nicely, and it has a great continental breakfast. All of the staff seems to be pretty helpful and friendly.

The room is nice and the service is good. The free breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, but at the price point it's nice that it is offered. Overall a good place to stay on the cheap.

This place is dangerous! Do not stay here-especially if you have small children! My husband stayed at this hotel a month (in November 2015) ago. In the middle of the night, he woke up to the light fixture falling off the wall. In the morning, he realized that while he somehow escaped bodily harm, his phone (his lifeline to his family while working) had been smashed. He alerted the front desk who said she'd leave a message for the manager (funny thing was that she WAS the manager) who could call next business day. Now it seems to me that a light fixture that is improperly installed is a liability for the hotel and dangerous to patrons. These two reasons should have made it important enough to fix the problem quickly but I guess not. They have given us the run around for the past month. The manager has not even bothered to call back. Unfortunately, it seems that Days Inn corporate is equally disinterested. I am really disappointed with the lack of concern they show for my (and any other guests) safety company wide. Thank goodness it was just his phone. It could've very easily been his head! It would be less insulting if we didn't have to pay for the damage caused by their negligence. This is the worst display of customer service/concern for customer safety I have ever seen.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Drug dealers in and out all hours of the night. My trailer was broken into and property was stolen… management told me it was not there problem.

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Very hot water. Good mattresses also. I was pulling g's and flipping off commie jet pilots while cracking jokes with Maverick and all of the sudden, I hear on the radio "Negative Ghostrider! The pattern is full! " WHAT HAPPENED DID IT CRASH ON US!? No but I'm awake now. Did I know there is an airport nearby? No, but I do now. Won't forget either. Crap coffee. Nice stay for the money. 9/10 (almost all motels have bad coffee so)

Location was excellent and a gentleman named Cartha went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were accommodated.

Pleasant staff. Hotel decor is awesome. Breakfast was great. Excellent price. I know where we will be staying in the future on visits to Charleston…

Our stay at Days Inn was great for the most part. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Quiet building. Obviously locking your car up in any city is a smart move. Only disappointment was the breakfast… or lack of? Haha No bagels, no hot waffles, etc. No fresh fruit besides some old apples. If it would've been a better breakfast this would've been a 5 star rating, no doubt.

Worst customer service I have ever received. We waited 11 minutes for someone to serve us at the front desk. Finally a woman came from down the hall to noticed us at the desk and walked somewhere else before coming to see what we needed. She was rude and acted aggravated to serve us. We had reservations at the Mills House downtown but they had overbooked and compensated us for a room here. It was well past 11 pm by the time we arrived so we were exhausted and ready to get to our room. After we finally got checked in (a long and over complicated process due to the ladies bad attitude and aggravation about us obviously bothering her) we got to our room. There, to our delight, we were greeted by a dead bug on the counter. We will never stay here again. Absolutely awful!

Book three rooms and by a mistake of the receptionist who noted the numbers wrong in your computer I were to wake up three wings of the morning. The receipts provided to you in the morning when one is still sleeping, The reception service was terrible and racist. Totally wrong. The hotel is comfortable but the services of the staff are not.

Dirty sheets and broken furniture. Stale and musty rooms…

My mother, grandmother, my 4 year old and 19 month old, and I are staying here while my 5 year old is in the hospital and this place is not at all worth the money! People at the front desk are rude and not friendly at all. The only reason we rented here was because they had a pool so the kids could play in it until hospital visiting hours, the pool was closed the day we checked in due to sprinkling, we planned on swimming today once opened at 12 here it is 2:30 and still not opened. Was told due to rain coming but it is 80 degrees and sunny. Then was told due to chemicals needing put in around 1:30 and still no-one has been in the pool area. The pool hours are already hard for families having things to do at certain times considering they are open from 12pm to 9pm. This place is ridiculous and I do not recommend staying here.

Just spend two nights here for to go see the Yorktown. Both nights were full with Family Reunions. While that is all fine and well, the service for other guest suffered. We could not get to the coffee or juice that is suppose to be accessible 24/7 do to the parties having the area occupied. When we were able to reach the area's there was no hot coffee as offered. The rooms do not have linens for the hide a way bed you have to ask for them. The maids did not leave items in the room i. E. Coffee when they seen you were out. When my mother in law called the front desk the person had an attitude about the whole event. The place is ok, but I would call ahead and see if they have a party first because if so everyone else will be ignored.

I enjoyed stay. Clean no smells very nice 2 things ice machine only in building two, and breakfast in main building.

I went there with a coupon on my cell phone and the guy at front desk told me, that I can use their printer to print it and they accept them only on paper. Thats their company policy he said. Im a driver and travel a lot. Thats the first time for last 4 years that happens to me.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff, and great complimentary breakfast! We also enjoyed the lobby cookies.

The front desk staff kept calling me sir on the phone when I called for pricing. Check in was great the front desk staff was nice. The room was nice and cozy other than 1 of the beds had us itching so we got in the other bed and had a good night sleep. The breakfast was nice and hot and worth the stay plus there is free Wi-Fi.

Thieves, keep everything locked up and really check the pic.

I've stayed here many times and had great experiences every time. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. One if the better Day`s Inns I've visited.

This place was very nice. Clean modern room, good Wi-Fi, and no weird smells or sounds. The price was pretty fair too. No problems here.

Tonight I was running the Arthur Ravenell bridge in Charleston, SC as I do often from my apartment downtown when on my back a thunder and lightening storm began. Upon seeing the strikes, I sprinted back towards Mount Pleasant and went into the first building I could find to escape; the building happened to be the Quality Inn and Suites and I'm so glad it was! Without a phone or money on me I figured I would ask the hotel if they could check the weather (to see if the storm would pass and I could run back) and if not, if they would call me a cab so I could get back to my house downtown safely. As I explained my situation to the front desk receptionist, one of the staff members, Lisa Crowley, emerged from the office and said she would personally drive me home! I could not believe how kind and generous Ms. Crowley was! She brought me to my doorstop although it was out of the way and it was prime Charleston traffic hour. She truly optimized an employee that put her company first and southern hospitality. I am in still in shock about how she "went the extra mile" (a few) for me even though I was not even a hotel guest. Being a student studying Business and Hospitality Management I can especially appreciate Ms. Crowley's kindness for she set an excellent example of how employees put their customers (or in my case, people) first. The Quality Inn and Suites is truly lucky to have Ms. Crowley as a member of their staff and her kindness and generosity should not go unnoticed!

I didn't expect much. Sheets were clean, so that's good. Breakfast wasn't worth free. Not terrible but very marginal.

The "pool" is a closed up thing in the middle of the parking lot, although today it is over 90 and sunny. The towels are threadbare and there are just two "bath" sized and two hand towels. Hard to wash my hair. Don't go across the street to the Texas Steakhouse either. Awful. I don't know if this motel's breakfast will be any good. But the bed is nice, Jeff was nice (desk clerk), the room is quite and right near 64, and the place is clean (not worth over $70 though). It's not great but it's not the worst place I ever stayed in either.

This hotel is very dirty and stained up and in bad need of updating. This is my second week staying here. Booked because of the pool. The pool only opens if it is sunny. If its hot and cloudy they keep it closed. Staff gave me dirty looks because both weeks I stayed here the first room we got stunk very badly and asked to move. The internet does work pretty good and a pretty good breakfast. Next time I will stay across the street at the cheaper and newly renovated Red Roof Inn. This is a horrible dirty place to stay. I stay in a hotel at least 4 nights a week and have a ton of hotel experience. This one is not worth the money at all.

Iole is the best front desk person there.

Update: the general manager apologized and has given me the rate on my reservation number. I called in a reservation, was quoted a rate for my stay, but when I arrived the rate was more than double what I was quoted. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told she was the only one there. I was told there was nothing she would do and she would not honor the rate on my reservation number. My wife, 6 month old, and I are sleeping on the floor at a local friends house because all the other hotels are sold out on Mt pleasant this weekend.
