Superb service Extremely nice staff Very very clean and new This hotel was amazing at both price location and service We were treated extremely nicely and had zero issues with check in or check out Staff was professional and courteous Pool was clean and gym was spotless Me and my wife will be staying here whenever we visit Virginia again. Breakfast was great also (7-11am) Check in starts at 3 Check out is 12pm.

Wow… the nicest la Quinta I've ever been in! Very modern, clean, with nice amenities. We used the gym during our stay. Some of the equipment was not functioning properly but besides that we were pleased overall with our stay.

The hotel was nice, the employees did the best they could, and the breakfast was as good as a hotel breakfast could be. The only problem is, is that my mother and sister saw my butt. The shower design was not created in the most efficient and family friendly way. The cloudy mirror from the shower to bed room area was so see through. My family saw the whole outline of my body. We asked employees why it was created that way and they had no explanation for it. After that ordeal we went outside to grill ourselves some food (that was a good idea for the hotel to have) it's just that while my mother was starting to work the grill and trying to get the right setting for the fire there were three drunk men that thought they could help us. One saw that her fire was larger than it should be and POORED BEER over it to try and make the fire die down. (ALCOHOL CREATES A BIGGER FIRE, if you did not know) my mother did not want to have a problem with him and his two drunk buddies so she waited until he thought he helped enough and we had to throw out or burnt and beer smelling hamburgers into the garbage.

Absolutely love this property! It's all new and modern. The staff is excellent and is very dog friendly. The breakfast is well done within the limited context of the continental style they serve. I really enjoyed the hot scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The grassy areas are a little sparse for potty walking the dogs, but it works. Close to lots of fast food as well as sit down places to eat. Grocery store across the street and Costco and Walmart less than 5 minutes away. Beds are firm but comfortable, and the bathroom is small but uses the space very well. Every thing is new. We've really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful hotel! Had a great indoor pool and a nice gym. The room itself was huge, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast. The only downside was that there was some sort of leak that had our floor wet on one side of the bed, and there was also a smell. Shower also had a weird window thing that was awkward considering I had my children with me and they could see into the shower from the beds. Would absolutely stay again though!

Great stay large modern room. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Pet was free.

This has to be the best La Quinta in the US. The story goes, it was an Aloft and was converted to a La Quinta. The lobby and rooms are well furnished and modern. There is a pool, gym, and lobby breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. Best of all, you get all this for the usually low La Quinta rate with the ability to bring your pets along.

Nice rooms with exercise room and pool. Outdoor seating and breakfast. I had an enjoyable stay and felt comfortable in my room. No odors or anything wore down.

Checked in late with our dog while traveling through. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and location was right off the highway. We greatly appreciate la Quintana being dog friendly. It's the only place we stay now with our pup.

Really really amazing! What a beautiful hotel. Sleek and modern. Great price too. Very pet friendly which can be a good or bad thing depending on the person. Amazing walk in shower. If you have someone who really likes taking a bath then your out of luck. Typical hotel breakfast with waffles, bagles, etc… If you want a better breakfast there's a Golden corral less than a mile from the hotel that serves breakfast everyday starting at 800am. Cost us $19.00 for two adults.

Based on my stay, I’m willing to wager 25 dollars that this is the only hotel in Winchester, VA that allows dogs. Actually saw more dogs than people. That said, it a lovely stay. The room was simple and modern. I liked it.

Love this hotel, very clean and loads of amenities. Breakfast is included. Prices are very reasonable. There is an indoor heated pool and a workout room. There are also computer s in the lobby. Very close to lots of restaurants and stores.

Super cute, updated hotel! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the rooms were very comfy and trendy, and the shower is to die for. Four stars for two reasons: 1, the Wi-Fi is exceptionally slow, and 2, somewhere around the second day we began to be convinced that this was an actual hotel for dogs, not for humans, since we heard almost no human noise, but tons of barking. I'm glad it's pet friendly, but it would be nice for the pet-less if they were confined to one wing.

Clean, up to date. Only gave it 4 stars due to internet not connecting with our laptop after several tries. Fridge was turned off but that is an easy fix, turned it on myself. I would definitely stay here again.

By far one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. Friendly staff, spotless rooms clean. And amazing shower! Can’t wait to stay here again on my next drive through VA!

The management and front desk staff were professional, accommodating, and friendly. The rooms are modernly renovated, clean and functional, more outlets than my entire house and the a truly pet friendly place to stay. We called for a roll away and house keeping had it delivered immediately. Amenities for the price is surely the best deal in town! Thanks!

Like the new renovations and open spaces. Nice complimentary breakfast area and relaxing fireplace. The pool is nice and the exercise room has some nice equipment. Rooms are big with open space but the best part is the Friendly Staff.

This is a great hotel in a convenient locations close to shops, restaurants, fuel. Very pet friendly. Rooms are super clean and comfortable with all the modern gadgets. Free breakfast was great as well. Best La Quinta we’ve seen.

Good location, easy access. Rooms were decent and seem to have been updated recently. Lighting had a very industrial blue color, not at all warm. The lighting may seem like a trivial issue, but it really takes away from the comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

The room was great and very clean. The desk staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My dog and I arrived very late and they helped set me up for a great one night stay on my trip.

Clean, modern, smells good, and they've done a great job utilizing space. Stayed on a Friday night before Christmas for under $100. Very glad I chose this hotel out of all the options in the area.

The hotel is beautiful and has anything you could want. The fitness center is excellent with multiple types of cardio equipment as well as sufficient equipment for strength training. The room itself is very modern, spacious, and we'll designed. The customer service was also excellent. If you are looking for an affordable hotel look no further than this one!

The hotel is transitioning to become a La Quinta, so my hope is that new LQ management will make the right improvements to really make this hotel stand out. As it is the hotel is very appealing, both aesthetically and from a comfort level. Plus they are pet friendly! Noise travels easily through the walls, though, so I hope the new management addresses this to really solidify room comfort and the feeling that you're in your own little sanctuary when you're in the room.

Decent for short stay. The safe in our room was inoperable so we had to pack our valuables with us. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom which made for a terrible smell issue in the room when you poop. We ended up going down stairs to the lobby bathroom is we had to go number two. Beds were not ver comfortable and the room had an overwhelming musky odor.

There was a hole in the wall and near the sink it looked like someone threw up and it didn't get cleaned. The walls were in need of maintenance. I picked this hotel due to the name but it definitely did not live up to my expectations.

They were very dog friendly. Nice lobby and big rooms. However, the doors to the rooms were very loud closing the we heard a lot of outside notice from our neighbors. Overall nice place to stay for the night.

Room semi-clean from what I can see… walls scratched up… possibly wallpaper was not the best option. No clue what is on the ceiling… lamp broken… would expect this from a red roof inn or super 8… odd box shaped room with creepy shower window into bed room. Front desk personnel super friendly but lacking competence of a squirrel… definitely much better options in Winchester.

Room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Staff were friendly. Hotel was easy to find. This was our first experience with Aloft hotels and it met our expectations. We will definitely stay here again. Love, love that they are dog friendly and the place is still clean! Only negative is that the door to our room was very difficult to open (let alone quietly) and there is no continental breakfast.

If not for the staff, I'd say 1 star. They alone were 5 star, eager and willing to help and please. The bsd — It has a euro hostel vibe with a bunch of parents partying, unattended kids, and lots of outside visitors (makes you worry about safety). No fee for pets, which is nice, but no 1st floor rooms. Room was large, but not very comfortable. And areas they cut corners you dont neccisarily appreciate without 1st knowing. Again, great staff, but how often is that what you book a hotel for? Would not stay here or any other aloft property again.

Let's start with the good. The staff is fantastic, they go above and beyond for you and do it quickly. That's about it for the good. The sheets are about as soft as sandpaper, the rooms are beat up and carpets dirty. The halls fair no better. The pool heater was broken, the band can be heard until 2am, and the trash hadn't been picked up in a long time as evident by the overflowing dumpster and trashcans, the dumpster is kept right next to the outside patio. The shower leaked all over the floor and every door in our room would slam into the wall with the slightest push. You hear every noise in the halls. Avoid this place, it is not good.

Just checked in to spend the night tonight. The hotel decor definitely has a modern feel to it, but other than that the room is pretty average. Nothing to shout about. The reason for the two star review is that their indoor pool was closed. We specifically booked this more expensive hotel because of the pool and were quite disappointed to hear that we wouldn't be able to swim. While I do understand that all pools must be cleaned at some point, when we explained the situation at the front desk all we were offered by the seemingly indifferent concierge was vouchers for breakfast, which is complimentary at most hotels anyway. We also sent a special request (extra pillows) with our reservation, but it doesn't seem to have been noticed. We are not high rollers by any means and this night in a hotel with a pool was quite a treat for us, and I was disappointed to find that the higher price tag didn't come with better customer service to make the situation right. So very disappointed about this ruined holiday.

Hotel was nice but overpriced. The rooms had an interesting Loft theme. The hotel had nice amenities and a pool table. It was already feeling run down and dirty even though it did not seem that old. It did have modern conveniences such as plenty of outlets and USB HDMI etcetera Connections in the room.

It is a typical upper middle class hotel with a nice gym and pool. Free Wi-Fi but no complementary breakfast (the in house restaurant makes a variety of meals — for a price). I had a good night's sleep on a clean bed and felt safe. They have a classy modern style of decorating.

Great pet friendly hotel with neat and modern decor. The room was clean and equipped with great amentities. My only gripe was the fact that even though the hotel embraces pet friendly rooms, there is no official dog walking area, no pick-up bags or waste receptacle.

The room was MUCH better than I anticipated. The employees treated our dog very well too. The food was good for the value, even though it tasted like it was store bought. But in the middle of a blizzard, that didn't matter at all. It was good and filled us up. Small pool, but still a luxury in a blizzard. We would definitely come back again as we loved our stay!

Nice, clean, and modern hotel. I only stayed for ~8 hours to sleep, so take my review with a grain of salt! Pros: THEY ALLOW PETS! So glad to stay somewhere that isn't hostile to my 17lb ball of fur (y). Pool and gym with good equipment avl. Great service. Free bottles of water and coffee in the room. Cons: A little noisy; my room faced the main road and I could hear traffic but that didn't bother me. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd ask for a room facing the rear. Their in-room coffee isn't very good!

Great hotel! No pet fees (as of last year) which was nice! Room was very clean and service good. The only issue we had was parking but it was hard to tell if that is the norm or if there was something going on that night. Cars were parked on top of each other and pretty much any open space to fit a car on the property had to be utilized. However, would definitely come back if passing through the area.

We have stayed here multiple times in Winchester. When we aren't looking for a BnB experience, we like to stay here when we are in the area. The rooms are stish, clean, and functional. We like the pet friendly approach.

Aloft in Winchester is conveniently located, clean, and reasonably priced. The room was small, but with a very comfortable king bed. Staff was was friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again.

Nice and modern. Receptionist didn't explain anything. Just handed me keys and asked what time in the morning I'll be checking out. The only way I knew where the elevator was is because the people in front of me asked after not being told. But lack in finish and maintenance. Shower pools on floor. One Elevator was dirty and beat up. Curtin in my room didn't have a cover and didn't work till I fixed it. Chair was broke till I fixed it. Bathroom light is burnt out. No free breakfast. Dog friendly… Loud barking dog when checked in. Then halway smelt terrible like wet dog and dog crap when I left to eat.

The good things about this place: Stylish, the receptionist at the Welcome Desk and bar tender were both friendly and helpful. The negatives: room was not clean (trash had not been emptied before we came, toilet paper had not been refilled, holes in the towels, stains on the bedding, room smelled badly, everything covered in dust, shower looked as though it hadn't been cleaned), the elevators were broken, supervisory staff was not friendly or helpful and even complained of being stressed out when I asked a question, so I apologized to her, and a few small things (such as the complimentary coffee bar was empty and a mess at 8 am with no one monitoring or offering to help). Overall: poor cleanliness and customer service. This hotel did live up to its company image.

Check in and out process was efficient. Nice bar in the lobby area. Rooms were fine except I question the design of having a frosted glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom, it flooded the bedroom with light anytime it was turned on. Overall a fine hotel and will certainly consider staying here again for area trips.

Our room was reasonably priced and far beyond our expectations! Very modernized and swwweeet! We will definitely stay again when traveling from Maine to Tennessee :) Breakfast should be included though : (Fridge was far too small and even though on coldest setting, barely cold.

It is a beautiful hotel. The staff was very accommodating they honored an online price offer with no problem. The rooms are very comfortable though I thought a little small. However, new and very clean. This is my new hotel of choice in the Winchester, VA area.
