Their beds are horrible and there showers head sucked I didn’t spray out at more like dribbled.

Questionable cleanliness especially considering covid contamination. I felt the need to wipe all surfaces down with Lysol wipes and spray the room down with disinfectant!

We reserved a non-smoking room, but the scent of smoke was very prevalent. We tried spraying Fabreeze but that didn't help. Then, when we were about to start getting our kids in for a shower, we noticed there was only 1 towel and 1 floor mat. I asked the front office for 3 more towels since there are four of us, but they only had 2.

Finally, before bed, we noticed the door latch was broken and hanging on by a thread as if someone had recently shoulder-charged their way into the room.

Other than that, we met a lovely cockroach in the shower and the trim around the room is falling off the wall.

If it wasn't for the fact that we brought our dogs, we would have checked into another hotel.

If you plan on wanting to sleep past 8am then forget it. Checkout time is at 11 but housekeeping starts banging on your door by 8. If you tell them to come back they continue to bang on your door and open it until you finally let them in. I checked in at 2am and the gentleman who checked me in was nice. M but other than that the front desk staff is rude. Hotel is decent, beds not the most comfortable, half the lamps work… but it's ok if you just want a place to stay for the night and plan on getting up and being out early.

This place is just what you pay for. Black mold was found in our hotel room in the showers and our entire room smelled like urine. Also, woke up with bites all over my body from possibly bed bugs. Do not stay here this establishment is horrible. Would not even work with us to get a refund since we did not check out by the designated 11 am. Disgusting service.

Newly renovated. Semi clean, no real breakfast, Thank Christ there's a D&D ☕ across the street. It's better than it was. I've stayed here before & I'll stay here again. It's worth it for the price$

(☣) For those of you that choose this place and you have children please be aware that we found a pill and a crack pipe in the chair of room Both fell out of the chair when my fiance moved it. We did let the front desk know and all she said was "I wonder if maintenance has been in there? ". So watch your babies and check the furniture and floors really good. We dont need more lives lost due to the neglagence of others stupidity nor the lack of cleaning due to this hotel. Be safe an be aware.

Easy check in, I was stuck in traffic & they saved the room for me. Easy to find just off the interstate, in a good safe area. Free breakfast was available; muffins, waffles & juices. Good for a night sleep while traveling. I didn't like the pillows, they could use new ones. Room & shower was clean & worked well. I would stop here again if traveling by.

The Room is pretty basic and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I did not have any problems falling asleep in it. It's nice that they accept pets.

Wonderful motel. A rainy night, it was our port in a storm, literally! Warm room, hot showers, clean bed. Made us like 2 new people. Would definitely recommend it and would return again!

Burger king was terrible! The girl carrying the bag of onion rings to put in fryer dropped them all over the floor and kicked them around. It was dirty! Then I ate in my car and the burger was nasty! You need to put a different burger place there! So bad made me sick! The gas attendant was very nice and kept her area clean!

Easy in and out. Great staff. So nice to be able to have a clean place to stay with pets.

Listed 2 star hotel EXCEEDS! Red roof inn's have been stepping up to meet our needs. Pleasant, friendly staff. Clean rooms with plenty of updates. Quiet rooms. Even pet friendly. In some ways, these hotels have stepped over other chains that may offer more at 3 stars. Keep up the great work!

As usual for this discount chain, the front desk people were great. My overall impression… "Within a 90 min drive, there are BETTER choices. " and yes, I stay at RR's often.

The location is difficult to access if you have to cross traffic together there because of a median that blocks the entrance, you have to make a u-turn in order to get there. But it's nice that there's a Subway, Dunkin Donuts, convenience store, and some restaurants right across the street, it's super convenient to not have to travel far for those things. The bed was so comfortable, we stayed in a king size. I'd definitely recommend this place to people stopping in Winchester! The only real downside is the u-turb you have to make if you're coming from town.

I stay at a lot of red roof inns because of their excellent pet policy. I don't have high expectations and they are usually met. Some are better some are worse, this one was a bit older but clean enough. High points for the desk clerk who checked us in, great service. Low points for clogged shower drain and a well used bed with a big slant toward the door. The bed in 157 has served you long enough. Retire it.

Staff is always friendly. And they have real fresh cooked breakfast in the morning! :)

Modest hotel but comfortable small clean room. No refridge or coffee maker but didn't need these things. Adequate continental breakfast. Wonderful quiet! Lots of truckers who go to bed early. We got a good night's sleep and are on rd early. We'd stay again.

The place was nice and clean at first. Unfortunately I was about to go to sleep and noticed something black on my pillow, and it turned out to be a bed bug! When I brought it to the attention of the front desk lady she said if housekeeping finds it, I would get a refund but I just felt something of that matter should have been dealt with asap. But other than that it is definetly budget friendly but I'm never staying here again.

Room immaculate, desk staff friendly and welcoming, provided recommendation for excellent food delivery. Pet friendly. Room to park RV and pickup truck. $50 Will stop here again.

Upon checking in the front desk wouldn’t honor my NEA 20% discount even though I had my account number and validated code. Then I was charged for the room twice! Upon discovery I called that afternoon to have my card credited. Was told that only a manager can do that, and to call back. Poor customer service.

Best to book online and to avoid using debit cards for front desk check in to avoid additional charges. Pay cash and giving the debit card for back up is ok. Up dated rooms, clean, safe area, makes for a good place to stay.

OK, so it's not brand new. But my room was clean, the bed was firm but not to the point of being uncomfortable and the staff lovely. When I checked in the woman working the front desk went out of her way to provide me with an item I requested. It was overall quiet; I heard a dog bark only twice during the entire 14hr. Stay. The fridge worked, the microwave worked, the TV worked and the water was hot. Excellent value!

First room not cleaned. Locked out of second room. Bed spread and floor dirty. Room looked like a murder could take place. Bathroom really small. Breakfast minimal. But it was quiet. Will never go back. Also, no iron.

2.5 stars* Motel style building. Room was clean besides some small stains; some updating had been done but still obviously dated room. Trash in the parking lot and stairwell. Man at front desk gave us a good deal but wasn't very friendly. Bed was the worst part, visibly old and you could feel each individual spring in the mattress. Sheets we're nice tho and no problems occurred.

Front desk boy the Indian guy very friendly and is doing an excellent job. Thank you for this great hospitality! 5 stars the rooms have been very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

This was a nice hotel for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Vv the rooms were clean and neat.

Rooms are pretty good, bathroom works just fine, the entire place is clean so not sure why some people complain, staff is very friendly. Mostly quiet location, easy access to the interstate. Pet friendly. I'd say you're getting a good deal for your money.

Worse night at a hotel EVER! When my teenage daughter and I went to go to our room there was about 10 guys hanging over the top floor railings. They were drinking and smoking and spitting over the railing. Gawking at us. They were up til 11:00 pm partying. They were so loud! Screaming and yelling. Running back and forth up there. I called the front desk twice. But the noise still continued! I called the police and the sent the Sherriff. They came and it finally got quiet around 11:30pm. We were driving south and really needed the sleep. On top of everything our toilet was blocked almost flooded our floor. I went to the lobby to use the bathroom at 5:30 am and was told to come back at 6;00 am! I could have been gross and still use the broken toilet. With much pleading I was finally able to use the bathroom. I would never stay here again. I didn't even get any compensation not even a sorry you had to deal with that! STAY AWAY from this hotel. There are so many others right next door. Its worth paying the extra money!

The room was great, the breakfast was very good. The cereal wasnt Kelloggs it was off brand the milk wasn't cold. And the selection was weak. Also my guest asked for a towel at 10:30 to take a shower before checkout and the front desk acted like they didn't want to give him one. He told him check out was at 1100 did he still need one. Yes he we just finished working and needed to shower be for driving home. We thought it was stupid to act like that. But the room was nice and clean.

Room was nice. It was a handicap room. The only complaint I had was the tub had a high step to get in. It would have been nice to have a seat in the shower and a second head for those unable to stand on the shower. The room was clean and big enough to get a wheelchair on either side of the bed.

DON'T STAY HERE! A DUMP DESPERATE FOR MONEY! I booked this hotel for a weekend trip with my daughter. I reserved through booking. The hotel was ranked as a 3 star hotel with a 7 review rating. The price was great for a 3 star hotel. When I got there I knew it was not as advertised. The outside was extremely run down and lacked upkeep. On the outside there were trash bags full of beer cans and beer cartons. Like there was a party or something. There were construction workers pacing up and down the sidewalk and ogling my daughter. It seemed like the watched which room we were staying in. I was really scared to stay there. I went to the office and asked if I could stay in a room either on the second floor or closer to the office and they said no rooms were available because they weren't clean. They said not to worry because there were "rarely" any incidents. So I took the room they gave me and when I went in the room was really small with laminate flooring. Seemed clean but smelled. I felt so bad to keep my daughter here told them I was leaving because I didn't feel comfortable there. I checked out and they charged my card $86. I asked both the hotel and booking to waive the cancellation fee and they wouldn't. They didn't care that I was unhappy with the hotel once I saw where it was and what it was. THIS IS NOT A 3 star hotel. Not even a 2 star hotel. It is a sketchy dump and and they know it.

Stayed here when we could find nothing else during memorial day weekend. Surprisingly clean and nice m/hotel. Decent breakfast though the eggs were cold buy hey they have a breakfast. For the price I wish there were more stars. PS Use AAA for additional discounts.

Cheap and cheerful. Have stayed in this one and one in Harrisburg PA too. You get what you pay for, but it was clean and comfortable.

We reached the place at around 11pm on saturday night and we had to wait in the cold wind outside for 10 minutes before we could get our room keys even though I booked the room in advance. We had to literally push the door with our body to make it open and it was making noise while scratching the bottom. The next part is bed and it seems way below average than standard red roof. Since the place is located close to the main highway there were lot of noise in the morning and the breakfast had poor choices compared to the standard ones. Overall its not a worthy place to stay and we paid around 75$/room.

I've had issues at this hotel in the past. Dirty rooms, having to go to the front desk for clean towels. One night they called the police because we were standing outside the rooms on the balcony. Not because we were being noisy, because we were outside. This stay was a pleasant surprise. Desk clerk was courteous and rooms were clean.

We stopped at a red roof Inn as a last minute stop in Virginia on our long trip to Texas from new jersey. I can't honestly give the exact location because we were exhausted and looking for a cheap place to stay that accepted dogs. I found it was very pleasant and pretty quiet. I do wish the beds were lower as I have a short dog but no real complaints.

My wife and I are touring musicians (tattooed) and wanted to check into our room a little early 2:30pm. The woman at the desk was rude. I'm amending my review because once our room was ready the OTHER staff sprang into action assisting us with our luggage and helped us into our CLEAN room. It is warm and cozy. Now to shower and sleep for another day of work tomorrow. Thank you Red Roof Inn for making up for the rudeness of one employee. A whole company should not suffer because of one bad employee.

Stayed in this hotel because of the price. I had stayed at Super previously but was hoping to have a little better experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Toilet paper roll liked and felt like it had been dropped in water and left out to dry and reuse. The beds were old and worn, I could feel the springs every time I rolled over. I stayed two nights, so I also got to experience housecleaning service (or the lack thereof). When I came back to the room, the bed had been barely remade (not clean), with the comforter not even pulled smooth. "Fresh" towels were put on the counter, not even placed neatly. Overall, not a great value, even for the low price. Go to a cleaner, more updated place down the street Yzerman with better service and the same price — Super 8 or Travelodge.

The staff of this hotel were very attentive and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I and my fellow EVFD members were very pleased with our stay and will stay here again in the future.

Room stunk like cigars and cigarettes… everything was dirty. You couldnt pay me to stay there again. Woke up with swollen eyes from smoke and dust.

We booked an hadicap room. Upon arriving. The front desk women told me about there strictly prohibited smoking policy. Well. We entered the room. And it stunk of cigarettes! It was dirty!. We pulled back the bedding.

Sitting in my room right now after 30 minutes of confusion because my key card did not work. Was sent back and forth 3 times to check my card instead of the staff just giving me a new room. Now after 30 minutes of delay I was finally given a new room. I enter my new room and it smells like someone just took a fresh dump on the bathroom floor. Too tired to complain anymore so I guess I will live with the shitty smell and shitty service. Btw the beds are rock hard.

Upon check in desk staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and stayed 5 nights and all of those nights were enjoyable. Our room was cleaned daily and housekeeping was very friendly and ready to provide us w/ what we needed w/o hesitation. Area was great for shopping (grocery, mall, Walmart and restaurants. Etc). We will be going back again.

Good price! Usually you get what you pay for when it comes to hotels. This hotel was as good as hotels that are $30 — $40 more per night. Wifi in the middle of the building doesn't work but rooms were decent and the shower was strong. Most importantly to me, it was bug free. That seems to be hard to find at this price range these days.

Bed bugs a whole bunch of them bloody red babies and big ones uggh I feel itchy.

Reasonably clean, basic services, nothing fancy. Wi-Fi worked vey well, no problems. Good place to stay on a budget. Great location, friendly staff.

Got stuck in a snow storm in mid-march and had to stop off here for a break on our way to NC. Gave us a good room at a not-so-bad price. Room is clean, has TV, working desk, microwave, and mini-fridge. Does not include any complimentary soap or shampoo, but no big deal. It was a good rest and very quiet as well.

I Love the room was great I'm a truck driver So I go to a lot of rooms for the money I spent was a great choice! Excellent Wi-Fi.

This is probably the best Red Roof Inn I've stayed in many years. The location is excellent and staff is great. Very friendly and helpful people work there. I needed to jump start and they helped me right away and I was on my way. The room I stayed in was a big king size room. Very clean and up to date. Mini fridge and micro came in handy. Overall a perfect stop for me. I will be back again if driving through winchester VA.
