Very nice place. Great rooms.

My family stayed here this weekend and we took the kids to swim and have dinner. The food was amazing. Not what I expected at all. My son is a burger snob and after 1 bite he let me know I shouldn't have ordered the kids burger. Brandon, our server, was great and put in another order for us that came out perfect again. Brandon took excellent care of us and read us perfectly. We wanted laid back, no fuss and personality was ok with us. He did a great job. The pool is advertis…ed as heated and it actually is heated. A nice change from the hotel they normally stay at downtown where it is freezing. And there is a restroom and shower in the pool room. No one has to walk thru a lobby or on elevators in a wet suit. Bonus. Nice wine list, they have newer options that aren't printed on the menu that are amazing. VA beers on tap with a good selection.

Great rooms. Good breakfast and wonderful customer service. One of only 2 indoor pools in the area and a whirlpool. Beautiful lobby with in house restaurant and bar. Single king room with breakfast $185 after tax. Within walking distance of many places to eat, less than 5 min drive to a Wal-Mart and many other amenities… would definitely recommend if u can afford it.

We stayed here one night. We booked the hotel online a few hours before we checked in. Christy at the front desk was absolutely wonderful upon or arrival. The hotel was almost fully booked, though you would not have know it because it was so quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Front desk was quick, room was large, clean and seem well maintained. AC did sound like there was a light saber battle going on inside it at times, hopefully maintenance fixes that.

Check in time is supposed to be 3pm. Got there at 3:15, room not ready until after 5:30! Very nice room. Very nice lobby area with bar. Breakfast a bit pricey with only fixed buffet approach. Enjoyed the nearby Waffle House instead. No excuse for all of the wedding party guests to have been delayed at check in. This was an event planned for over 6 months. They screwed up and gave away the room assigned to the parents of the bride who had to find lodging elsewhere at 11PM. Poor management. Need to improve training of new staff and have someone who knows what they are doing assist them until they are ready to solo.

Stayed here for 3 months up until January 2018 while working for the new Amazon in Clear brook and man let me tell you… the service is on point! The Breakfast/Dinner is awesome and the overall service is really professional and cool. They go out of their way to make sure you have adequate supplies during your stay. It's also close to just about every decent eatery within walking distance. Highly recommend this place!

This location was great. It took a while to check in. With 2 people in front. But got a nice big room. Clean. The pool was great. Not sure how 'clean' the hot tub was. It didn't look too bad.

Nice rooms, bed"s softness is adjustable but it seems like it only goes from rock to marshmallow.

Rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable beds and great pillows. Close to anything and everything, malls, food, local activities, etc.

Hotel is near many restaurants and a starbucks, which could come in handy. Parking, as other posters claimed, is tight when the property is at capacity. Unlike other HGI properties I have stayed at this year, the in house bar/restaurant closes at 9pm instead of 10pm. Be wary of this when booking the dine & unwind package, as they won't tell you it's close to closing time when checking in, then it's going to be 25 dollars to spend in the pantry. I was also surprised the gentleman checking me in didn't acknowledge my loyalty status, as most other Hilton branded properties do. The one thing that dropped this stay down to a 2, is the room I stayed in, 418, had an HVAC unit that didn't have any sound insulation on it. Due to this, the howling wind coming through the unit made it almost impossible to sleep.

Very nice facility and workers. It's very neat and clean and each room. The only problem would be sometime to parking when the hotel is full other than that I would recommend this place to anybody.

I took part in a meeting in the conference room. Folding tables, chairs, water and glasses were provided. My only complaint was that the room was a little warm. We kept the does open to combat this but were then distracted by music playing in the lobby. Definitely not a major issue.

Clean, lots of restaurants nearby. Beds kind of hard. Great pool with separate hot tub. Nice lobby area. Breakfast was table service before buffet which was slower than I am used to … 35 minutes. Maybe that is my NorthEast bias.

First time staying here but I love it! Hilton has never disappointed me though. I usually stay Embassy Suites. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience here following a horrific one at a different hotel the week prior. They were very accommodating to our families needs (toddlers and a 7 month old). Yes the food was extra but we didn’t have to eat there… that was our choice. The room was clean and comfortable. We will be passing through Winchester in the future and will book here again!

Nails all the important aspect of a hotel (ever the TV which could be newer, bigger, better). Comfortable bed, super clean room, great shower and a nicer chair and footrest for a reading session.

Great people, very clean and comfortable. However the breakfast setup seemed to be a trap. Only on the tables is it posted that the breakfast is not free, but 12$. I had gotten food, asked for an omelet before I had sat down and realized it wasn't a free breakfast. My guest didn't get hot food and hers was still 7$. I'm not upset about the money, but the fact that continental breakfast is an industry standard in my opinion, and no apparent posting of prices seems very shady. This will keep me from visiting this chain again.

We booked this hotel multiple months in advance and they bumped our reservation one week prior to a wedding. Their excuse was they were increased a room block for another group.

Great room and staff are awesome. Only reason for 4 stars is that the bathroom is showing signs of age. No big deal just not perfect. Very satisfied with this property.

Very nice place in the center of winchester. They screwed up the bed size but gave us free breakfast.

The stay was very pleasant. We had a very hard time trying to use our HHonor points. We finally could not, at no fault of staff but the points company we found impossible to work with. So id staying here do not plan to be able to USE POINTS!

We asked for a king suite and they said they booked us in a suite but when we checked in it was not and the room smelled like mildrew and carpet was wet and the floor was dirty and hair on toilet seat we went down stairs to front desk the night manger was rude and called us a lier and didn't try to fix the problem so I called Hilton honors customer service they found us another hotel further away and got us away from this horrible experience. I never been treated this way by any hotel before and when I went to give her room key showed her the pictures of dirty room didn't even get in sorry or anything and the people behind me having a problem also and she not handling it. And the TV didn't work also. Talked to manger Kristen today and didn't care on how we were treated and how the room was dirty and that we had to drive a hour to another hotel at 10pm at night so they don't care about there customer service and Hilton honors don't go there.

Bed was comfortable the room was clean it does need to updated the room did have a smell to it they were trying to hide The TV did not work the breakfast was good and fresh and the staff is nice.

Very nice hotel. Staff were great, room was clean and comfortable with lots of space and everything worked great. Nice location close to highway yet quiet area. Indoor pool is small, but nice for kids 3-5 ft. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very nice, AC worked great so that is always nice! The shower head massages your head and the water pressure is great! The hot breakfast is very good and you can get anything for a good price. I would recommend this hotel if you are passing through. Very convenient to the interstate.

Good place. It's right next to I-81 and minutes from Old Town and Shenandoah University. Rooms are clean, paying for breakfast is worth it because it's delicious. I'll stay here again.

Great space for a group event. We hosted a quilting weekend and the staff was great from start to finish. Everyone went out of their way to make it a wonderful weekend. Details like the room set up and beverage station as well as the great breakfast really made it easy for everyone. Would recommend to other groups and would definitely return (we will)!

I felt it was very comfortable. The beds and pillows soft. House keeping came in while I was at my work function at Trex and made my bed and grabbed my wet towels, and put new K-Cups in the room. I don't travel very often, so I'm not use to some one taking care of me so good. I also got free hot breakfast coupons for during my stay. All very appreciated.

My family stops here on our way to and from N. C. Every year. The service has always been great. One time there was a mix up of rooms and they handled it in a timely manner. They have a great breakfast on the mornings and a bar for the evenings. A very clean and well decorated establishment.

Pictures don't really do it justice, this is a really lovely place. Lobby is beautiful, and all of the staff members were very helpful and friendly. It's a little further from the road than nearby hotels, and we had a very relaxing sleep. Plus, free cookies!

This particular Hilton Hotel does not serve Chocolate Chip cookies. They served a granola white chocolate and cranberry cookie which was really horrible. The front end service clerk was not that friendly and was really rude to the older ladies that I was with. The breakfast was awesome but if I am paying my money, I expect for the service to be great along with customer service. I think they can do a little better.

Pool area was a bit loud but everything else was nice.

Stayed here a bunch in the last year. Always clean and quiet. Rocky at the front desk is friendly and attentive. Jonathan at the bar is fast, super personable and just an all around good guy. He is a gem. The bfast in the morning is good… fast service and a lot to choose from. Great location. Great pool area and decent gym.

Wonderful place. Quiet. Relaxing. Overly helpful staff. The breakfast crew is so energetic and helpful they almost scare you. The hotel sits next to a train track which would normally be seen as a problem. The only noice you hear from your room is the horn and a subtle clicking as it slowly rolls by. Highly recommend. Oh and perk, all rooms have dish network!

Room was clean. However the bed was the pits! Like sleeping on a board… The complimentary internet was shall I say less that 'speedy'. Well a lot less than speedy! Overall, don't think we'll be back. Best of luck!

If you're looking to book a block of rooms, look elsewhere! The system is glitchy, and they turn away guests before the block is full. That, or they direct them back to the bride which makes absolutely no sense at all. If you are calling to book as part of a block and they tell you it's full, try again. Sometimes it takes 5 tries, but odds are there is still a room for you!

The Hilton Garden Inn is easy to get to but difficult to leave. Fresh and clean, it is just nice in every aspect that is important. We were greeted by pleasant and competent staff upon our arrival and the accommodations were impressive as well. The made to order breakfast is done well, more than adequate in its offerings, and is a great start to your day. Dinner was a treat and served in a relaxing atmosphere by attentive wait staff. I look forward to returning to Winchester. Well done Hilton Garden Inn, well done.

Have stayed here many times for work. Love the staff and hotel in general. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the lack of a large fridge you get in long-stay hotels. The breakfast is okay but I don't get it often. The dinners are good and overall just a nice hotel. Very close to I 81 but not on top of it and several restaurants within walking distance.

Hotel staff was very nice but the Hotel Manager "Rick" was just not concerned with any of the issues that I had had during my stay. All he kept saying was that he was sorry. Not one time did he make me feel like he gave a hoot at what I was saying. Trash not emptied, AC not working, no wake up call, room keys not programed, room keys turned off during my stay. Just find another place to stay if you are in winchester va.

Love the manager night on Tuesdays.
