Welcoming friendly service. Great amenities and a short walk to a variety of restaurants and entertainment. I can forget to mention the outdoor seating areas with a few fire pits. This is definitely Dr. G approved!

I stayed here for one night and was sad to leave! I am a Diamond member and from the moment I checked in, Ishmael treated me like royalty! He upgraded my room to a king corner and the view was phenomenal! The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was a quiet room, I never heard a peep from the neighbors. The $20 destination fee includes $20 F & B credit, which I combined with my Diamond credit and was able to have a delicious crab cake meal at McClellan’s (where the service was great. ) I love the location and ability to walk to great restaurants/bars or take the metro downtown. I wanted food at 3am on a Thursday but of course nothing was open. Mahdi at the desk tried valiantly to call around, to no avail. He was so kind that he found a protein bar for me! It did the truck haha but he went above and beyond. Also shoutout to Chris with HGV, and Houssai at the front desk, both super friendly and helpful as well. I spent the last afternoon by the spacious pool, which has a view of the monument and a poolside bar on weekends! Overall this is my favorite Hilton property that I’ve stayed at in the District and I will be back! Thank you again team members!

I attended the AASA National Summit 2022 here at Washington Hilton and the frontdesk ladies were very nice and accommodating. This is an amazing hotel. They have lots of Small group and big group discussion/break-out rooms for conferences.

Bed bugs. Terrible customer service. They basically said “your best “. After they stated they would set me up in the next closest Hilton. Took 3 hours with three small kids. Plus queen beds were double. Never stay here!

I was nervous for my first time being in a wheelchair on a trip alone with my daughter but they made everything much easier and made me more confident. We ended up having a great vacation.

I stayed here with one other female friend and had a great stay! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly and security was always present. The hotel was very clean and the location was perfect for us. I would book this hotel again for my next trip!

We booked months ago, threw amtrak. This site has been closed almost a year. Why wouldn't they notify amtrak? not happy.

You refused to let our troops accept gifts sent by the American people today and you just lost tons of customers by doing so.

Careful with your credit card. They kept 200 plus dollars. Undignified. You know the word. Update April 22, 2020: I was contacted by Mr. Ismail Essaghir. I wrote back with proof March 25, 2020. I never received an answer. So, again be careful or you will end up like me: with a bad experience and 200 plus dollars less in my account for a night I never spent there. Careful with the charges. They charged an extra night and, even though we sent proof, they didn't do anything. I know for a fact that this happened to another person too. They offered a room near the elevators due to my 82 year-old mother. They didn't comply. I was left outside the room three times, because the card key didn't work. I don't know what they put on the garden in front, but the hotel smelled awfully.

This is a beautiful hotel located in DC. It is not very close to a metro station, that’s about 1 mile away. But it is in the middle of a nice area with shops and places to eat. It is exact half way between the zoo and the Smithsonians.

Pleasant staff and good food in lobby. The rest of the floors could use a reno. Nice room decor.

Everything was great. Just remember to plan for the STEEP parking prices: $52 self parking or $62 for valet when booking your room. Executive lounge was really nice. Bathroom vanity’s are small but still nice. The hospital appears well maintained. Breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Nice room, extremely friendly staff. It's DC, so be prepared for the cost, but in my experience you get what you pay for.

Valet Parking was increased to $62 because we were having a large event there today. That is quite ridiculous given the fact that parking options are limited in that area. We come there and p spend money on food and other amenities while attending our meetings and you charge us half the cost of a room to valet park our car? I’m guessing you really would prefer that we don’t valet park. Message received and understood.

Hotel was great, clean rooms, nice people. Only bad experience was taking a taxi. Tried to give them service and it was a$22.00 taxi ride with no traffic. Driver did not follow his GPS for shortest drive. Drive the long way and ran up bill. Got Uber for ride home and was less than$10.00 lesson learned and will advise all to use Uber or Lyft.

I spent 3 days there for a conference. The hotel was clean and updated. There are a lot of things to do within walking distance. The staff that I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful.

Recently stayed here while on business. Great hotel superb staffing no complaints. A very good nights sleep. I had my children join me while on school break since their mother passed away and the hotel was exceptional with them. I would return.

Very nice hotel for the price. It seems to be within a reasonable distance of everything I've wanted to do during my stay. Hotel has a nice bar and snack/coffee shop downstairs. The food seems to he pretty good also. Great happy hour!

Hotel can struggle to turn rooms when busy. Long wait for check in. Rooms are nicely equipped and clean and quiet. Most staff was very nice. Restaurant has a very limited menu but food quality was decent.

It was a wonderful place to stay… surrounded by history.

No microwave or refrigerator I’m my room. A 3 star place even will provide that. Coffee was not Starbucks like the Westin but I made due with the non-named poor coffee in room. The Plus is that the room was extremely clean, bed sleeps well, cleaning staff very nice.

A bustling huge city hotel located up the road from DuPont Circle. Provides all the amenities one would expect from a large hotel with decent staff to serve you. Great for large conventions with a massive meeting area and meeting rooms spread out on multiple floors. Public areas are nice but rooms seem a bit dated. Overall a solid choice if you need a hotel in this area.

I bought the room with the parking, when I got to the hotel there were no parking spots available. I went to the front desk and the representative advised me that she will have to cancel my reservations and payment. I would have to find another hotel that could accommodate my needs. I was very upset and she called the supervisor. Victoria Moore, the supervisor on duty was awesome. She made our stay a five star experience. Great place. The breakfast was great but pricey. The Oaks restaurant's service and food was great too.

The pizza at the hotel sports bar is so delicious, I had it for dinner every night. The staff is amazing and pleasant. The hotel is beautiful. It's near plenty of places to eat and shop, its in a great location. I'm really enjoying my stay. I will be back!

Other then the fact that booking the room with the understanding that we would b able to view the fireworks from the room Whitch was not true everything was good, still dissatisfied that we were lied to about the view though.

Very clean room ; hotel staff very nice, professional, and efficient. Only reason I could not give five stars was the paper thin walls, my one drink cost 13.00, and parking fees are outrageous 47.00 per day self parking. I thought the location was good. Two miles from Whitehouse. View not bad at all… Lots of little restaurants, shops, even office Depot and rite aid on the next block so all your needs could be met close by. Hotel itself is beautiful inside and all staff have been friendly and accommodating.

The staff at the Hilton was the best part about my stay. Lee at the front desk is just a hoot! Loved him! The cleaning staff and the event staff were top notch. So thorough, professional and courteous. They went above and beyond for me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the walls are paper thin and I could hear the person in the room next to me cough for like 20 minutes every morning.

Great hotel. Nice staff. There are several restaurants, a gift shop, a coffee shop and many more great amenities. The staff is super helpful. Be sure to get access to the executive lounge. It's worth the extra money if you have a family. There you can get beverages all day long, breakfast and happy hour snacks.

Not the best. The service was pretty bad, the level of hospitality was really poor. The best part of the hotel was the maid service… she was great. The entire front desk, concierge, restaurant staff… forgot they were in the hospitality industry.

Great location close to the National Mall. Clean, upscale rooms. Coffee maker in room worked well and the provided coffee was tasty! Reasonably priced. Parking is not included and the price is not advertised anywhere. Found out it was $40/night to self park in addition to the room cost. I found that to be excessive. The bathroom looked really nice and was remodelled, but the shower pressure was terrible.

We enjoyed our stay here. I'd recommend upgrading to a suite if you're coming with family… The extra room is very welcome! Access to the executive lounge is worth every penny as you get breakfast, evening snacks, and access to drinks throughout the day. It's a little bit of a walk to the Dupont circle metro station but it's a fun and safe one. While popular as a convention and business hotel we found it to work really well as a family vacation Head quarters.

Great hotel! Very nice location! I stayed here during the Women's National half marathon and the White House correspondence dinner. Very vibrant and great service overall. The only thing I was a little taken by, was my standard room had no microwave or refrigerator unless I pay $25 or go down to the market place.

This hotel has a great ambiance in the lobby, they have two restaurants and a shop. The location is good, but depending on what you want to do in DC determines if the location is great. Personally, it wasn't close to where I needed to be (Chinatown, DC). The room (King bed) was so small, especially compared to other hotels I've stayed at in DC. Their TVs are small and outdated… tried to use a Playstation 4 and apparently the TV was not compatible. Finally, registration was So Slow! I must have been on that line at least 30 minutes.

The reviews are spot on! Parking fees are outrageous. $40 self park and $48 valet park. There are no in/out parking privilages. On weekends there is ample free street parking available. Just be sure to move your vehicle before 9 am on Monday morning. It is a very walkable area and neighborhood permit parking only applies during the week. Go to the back side of the hotel where there is an employee and fitness entrance and park on any one of the streets available there. They are one way streets but they are easy to navigate. The rooms are a bit small but cozy and well decorated. Try to arrive early as lines can become long during peaks. We liked the Arlington Hilton better but compare rates before you stay.

Great hotel with excellent service! The location allows easy access to the metro system via the DuPont Circle station. I would highly recommend using the Hilton app so you can pick your room and check in before you arrive. I was able to get a corner room by doing this. This is a good hotel for big groups.

I was at the Washington Hilton for a day-long conference, and I was in the ballroom and the exhibitor hall most of the day. The ballroom was really funky and straight out of the 70s, and the custom lights for the conference were a nice touch. The waitress staff were great, and kept us well fed throughout the day. Overall, a fun place to have a conference!

Nice hotel. Very comfortable bed with amazingly warm comforter. Good location. Weekend parking in neighborhood was free and easy to find. Walls too thin especially with thousands of young people. No fridge in room.

This place is very clean and is great for a trip here. The beds are great for a couple of days but can be a bit too soft after a while. This does not matter that much because if you are touring then you wont stay long here. Taxis here can be expensive so I recommend you get an Uber or another form of transportation. To get to most memorials from here is about a 30 to 40 minute ride at night. The walls are pretty thick so you cant hear much from the surrounding rooms. My room was located in between the other building there so all you could see was a courtyard in between. It wasn't a great view because all the plants were dead there. Overall it was a great hotel but a few things could be changed.

I was only at the Washington Hilton to attend a work meeting in the restaurant but the servers were incredibly kind of nice and kept the lights on for us even well after the restaurant closed after their lunch hours were over. They were also really attentive and refilling our water glasses and made sure that we had anything that we needed, again even though the restaurant had already closed. That was above and beyond.

Are you kidding me? This is such an amazing hotel. I arrived early and they found me a room so I could a sleep. Hands down! The best hotel in Washington DC. I highly recommend this hotel and the staff is so customer oriented. Fantastic hotel.

The roundabout at the main entrance to drop off passengers is very narrow for multiple cars. And just let stop they are going to use the valet service. The hotel itself is very luxurious, but now that we had so many people that you couldn't almost even walk inside the hotel. This in a place very busy and costs to achieve to enter the roundabout. The service from the staff is impeccable, from which you get off the car super attentive and very well presented. Are aware of the need of one to help and guide one in the hotel, very clean place also, they have several lounge where you will carry out several events.

Five-star Hotel ideal for business events, modern and luxurious facilities, appropriate spaces, attentive staff somewhat expensive but it's worth it, this well-located but still away from the historical monuments.

The hotel is nice but take a large deposit. We took over $500. But returned on the day after the eviction. The room was taken representative with access to the lounge, which was not. Gave coupons to the bar on the ground floor. And then on the number 1 voucher for 1 day (snack syp one drink soft, and then of the two to choose from.

This hotel is somewhat of a mixed bag for me. The staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful, the room allocation was spot on, with a nice view over the surrounding area. If anything, for conference activities, you could almost say that the staff are too efficient at times. When there are multiple meetings / classes being run, if you don't take your breaks at the exact allotted times, they've already cleared the coffee and tea away. A few of the sales staff did interrupt at least one of the classes that I'm aware of, walking in while the instructor was half way through a lesson to give a tour to potential clients and take photos. Why? Wholly unacceptable in my eyes. The rooms are of a suitable standard for a hotel of this price bracket, although, in some areas could do with a bit of an update (lumpy carpet and peeling wallpaper). Overall, a decent quality hotel. Could be so much better with a bit more attention to the needs of the current customers rather than looking at the next client.

The place is excellent but I find Ilogico to charge you for having Wi-Fi in the room as well as the deposit of 75 dollars per night. It's excessive. Maybe they return it if everything is OK, so I'm waiting. Recommend.

Very good place to stay in DC.

I stayed here while attending a wedding. The rooms are large and quiet. The hotel has some pretty cool history, and it's absolutely gorgeous. The staff were kind and attentive. It's close to so much, we often walked or took a $3 ride to nearby attractions. Definitely ask around about the historical value that this place has!

Outstanding hotel in NW DC. Great for meetings. Rooms are a little small, but very comfortable. Service is top notch. Plenty of on site amenities, including an excellent sports bar. The prices at the coffee shop are high though. The censong machines take credit cards and are in good working order. Lots of elevator capacity is another nice touch. Convenient to all kinds of food, shopping, and the subway, the only tricky feature is that there are two driveways on an upper and lower level, which can confuse ride-share drivers. Overall an excellent choice if you want to stay in DC.

The room was spotless. Everything in there was upscale and classy. We enjoyed our stay thanks to the staff who provided excellent service the entire time we were there.

I had a wonderful one night stay. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view of an Open Garden area. The staff were very helpful and accommodated me with a very late check-out time. The gym is one of the best I've ever seen at a hotel and the pool is likewise very well kept, great temperature, nice seating. Options for buying snacks at the small-market are extremely overpriced but that is pretty common at hotels like this. Would love to stay here again.

Room was very comfortable, aside from the pillows on the bed. Hotel pillows never seem to have enough support even when using multiple pillows. Ate at restaurant in the hotel and both the Reuben and the pizza we had was excellent. Coffee at the Coffee Bean in the morning was very good as well.

Hotel is in a good location but metro spots are not very close. The rooms are small but fine. Bathroom was tiny with no counter space and very low lighting. Housekeeping was friendly and efficient. But the hotel lacked in amenities and services. On check-in their text to notify of room readiness after already checking in failed for me and several others I encountered. Restaurants were expensive (which is to be expected) but hot food items were processed, pre-made items that were unappetizing. Upon check-out they charge a fee to hold bags. While this was an amount less than I would have tipped, after spending $300+ each night, it was outrageous and petty and speaks to the lack of service and amenities. Given the choice I would not stay here again due to the poor hotel policies and services.

Great location to visit the city even on foot.

Its a really nice hotel, very large and with international looking designs. The guest waiting room is really big and gives a more luxurious touch to the entrance. The only ^bad^thing I can think of is that you have to be prepared to walk the halls before getting to your room. Staff is really nice and always ready to give you a hand.

Stayed in a room for 2 nights. The AC kept making rattling noise and it was very annoying to sleep with it every time it ran. The employees were very nice and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh. We got room service while we were out doing stuff so they didn't bother us at all. I recommend this place!

Great location close to many good restaurants. Also close to the sights in Washington DC when on vacation. Very nice roomy bar with plenty of TVs. The breakfast is excellent. The place has a nice, fully equipped gym and a rooftop pool. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable.

Everything at the hotel was what I expected from a major metropolitan hotel. What was very jarring and not cool was the lack of Wi-Fi in the room and the absolutely outrageous parking fees. We wound up parking in a lot close to the convention center for a fraction of the cost per day and taking Uber back and forth. This saved us roughly $30 a day. Crazy!

I stay in Hilton hotels 10-20 nights per month. This was a terrible experience. The room is nice and on par with expectations. The service is horrible. Even for a Diamond member staying on the Executive level! Everything went wrong from the front desk, room cleaning, breakfast and valet. The staff was rude and indifferent. As I've been waiting for 30 minutes for valet to bring my car, I'm total fed up.

I attended ISPOR, a medical conference at the hotel. The meeting rooms were nice and well staffed. There is good availability of space for pop up meetings, and good choices for coffee, lunch and after work meetings right in the hotel.

Can't speak to the rooms. I joined friends at the bar. The drinks are pricey and there weren't many options. Makes much more sense to leave the hotel and walk to one of the many good bars in the area.

To make reservations for my bosses that they would be staying, I called the taxi service that would pick up at the airport. However I was told to take the shuttle from the airport, I told them that they were VIP of my company and could not send them that way, I was told to call later. Abe Aburish was the only one helping me with the reservations, was very attentive with the transfers and I even warned via email of how everything was going. Excellent service on the part of Abe. Many thanks.

Really good hotel. Staff is nice specially Princess at the front desk. Rooms are spacious and clean. Close to major attractions. Fun relax environment at the bar. Great food. What is there not to love about my experience there?

It's a decent hotel. Getting to the parking level is confusing tho. Confusing to get anywhere really. Other than that it's a perfectly fine hotel. Rooms are a little tight I guess.

Stayed here several times while in DC. Great rooms, recently renovated. Busy, vibrant lobby and great outdoor seating too. Hallways are long and winding. Lots of walkable destinations nearby, and not too far from the National Mall. A great option for staying in the Dupont Circle area!

I was on a business trip or personal reasons stayed at several hotels. The trip was arranged to welcome the new year in a short weekend break. The hotel staff was great. Check-in starting from me, Eric services is really very, very thoughtful and very kind. I was treated was amazing good. From beginning to end, everything went smoothly. Time to check out, Erica and I told my gratitude and in the hotel's pleasant experiences. Hotel is located on Connecticut Avenue.

Rooms are great. Free breakfast on 10th floor wonderful. Awesome coffee. No bathtubs though. Staff are very helpful.

Pretty negative experience with the rooms (though the hotel did a great job for the conference I attended, which is why it has the two stars I'm giving it). I work in an industry that doesn't have many business trips. This was my first one, and I travelled alone. Upon arriving, I find that I can't do early checkin until 11am (I arrived at 9:30am). No worries — despite not being told this when I called and asked, they held my bags for free so I got to know the neighborhood. I came back at 11 and checked into my room. The attendant (Eric) asked for a card "to put on the room. " I thought this was for room service or damage, so I asked in clarification, "Should that be my employer's card or my personal one. " He replied shortly, "Doesn't matter. " He never mentioned a dollar amount, so I figured it was for future fees and put my own. I go up to my room to find that no, he'd put the entire week's fee, at $300/night, as a hold on my card! Since it was my debit card, he overdrew my account. Seething, I went down to the desk again and Eric was there and unapologetic. "Your employer just booked the room, she didn't pay for it, " when I gave him my information. "I was there with her when she paid — we put card information in with the booking agent we had to use for the conference. " I replied. "It's still just a booking, not payment. " "So do you regularly charge a week's worth of booking to a card without telling the person that's what you're doing?

Todo esta excelente. Lo único que nos gustó fue que las llaves de acceso no funcionaron algunas veces y tuve que ir lobby para que las arreglaran. Everything was excellent. The only thing that is not making me put the 5 stars is that the access keys sometimes didn't work and I have to visit the lobby in order to ask the to fix it.

Words can not express my gratitude to the security team at this Hilton. I had to leave my mother at 6am this morning. I was very concerned with her having to eat and not get turned around at the hotel. The security officers Bostick and Tomic kept a great eye on her and ensured the got to the restaurant at 7 am to eat breakfast being that she's a diabetic. This was exactly what I asked them to do. I also had the pleasure of meeting the security manager Mark Jordan, he as well was a delight. He was genuinely pleased to hear the feedback.

Hotel had lousy attitude about dealing with barking dogs. Dogs were not suppose to be on the floor. After 3 guests complained, the complainers had to move as the owner of the dogs was not in the room. The move was at 11 pm. This was a gross inconvenience for all. Hotel offered no comp nor offered a meaningful apology.

Nice modern bathrooms contrasted a little with the room which was a little older, though not antiquated in any way. The whole place was very clean and the front desk was super courteous. Only complaint was that cleaners walked into the room with only a literal second pause after knocking THREE times. The last2 time we put the safety lock on and the lady tried opening the door five times at 8 am until we yelled at her to go away.

We went to the hotel for the DC Mardi Gras and ended up staying extra days due to the blizzard. The hotel was very accomodating for those of us stuck due to flight cancellations.

It was a very attractive hotel, very convenient to the metro. The staff was very nice. The bed and the room was very comfortable, but there was no mini bar type things aside from a coffee machine, so unfortunately our leftovers from dinner went bad.

I would not choose to stay at this hotel on my own. I recently attended a conference. The facilities are nice, the staff friendly and helpful. It is not as convenient as other hotels in other areas of the city. You had a trek a good ways to find a good restaurant, most of the restaurants near the hotel do not have good ratings. The nearest metro stop is a 20 minute walk so I ended up using more cab service than normal which is more expensive. The rooms are OK. My room was clean. There is little to do at the hotel after 10 pm. Parking is $49/day, and you have to pay to use the gym facilities and internet unless you are an Honors member. The rooms are quite expensive, even at the conference rate. Being in a large city is no excuse. My biggest issue is billing. Upon check-in my credit card was denied. I had failed to tell the credit card company I would be traveling. I then gave my debit card as an alternate. Upon fixing the credit card issue I returned to the check-in desk to say that the credit card had been fixed. They removed the hold on my debit card and supposedly wiped it from the system in place of the credit card. That was not the case. The first third of of my stay was charged to the credit card but the other two thirds was charged to my debit card.

The hotel is in a nice location. There are LOTS of restaurant choices nearby. The hotel also has a very good restaurant and a cozy sports bar. There is a nice coffee bar in the lobby as well. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The gym is adequate and has a full range of workout/aerobic equipment. It's a very nice place!

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Although the property is older, it seemed new and up to date. We could find nothing to complain about and lots to like. Rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet. Food and bar service was excellent. Hard to find a better experience.

Washington DC Hilton is a very nice hotel staff is very friendly the hotel is huge with muiltple bars stores and restaurants inside. Wish I could have got to the roof but that didn't happen. The rooms were great good size, very nice bathroom beds were comfortable.

My son and I were in DC during the winter months and stayed at the Washington Hilton. Unfortunately, we had a less than favorable impression of the establishment based on that visit. However, we knew we needed to return to DC in August and my husband is a Hilton Honors member. Therefore he wanted to stay in the flagship hotel and its proximity to our business venture is ideal. He contacted Kartika Patel and discussed our previous problems and our expectations for our August visit. Not only did she meet them, she exceeded them. Her professionalism and attention to detail was at the level that all of your employees should emulate. We now have a son in college in DC and will be visiting the area quite often during the next four years. As long as you have Kartika on staff, that will be our hotel of choice. Thanks for making our stay at the Washington Hilton an enjoyable one.

Nice clean big room. Not central to tourist locations. Free pool. 70s décor, very professional, not a party hotel at all. Could hear people laughing through the walls at night. Giant, comfy bed. Nice area, would recommend Thaiphoon for dinner.

Rooms are nice, good location… But what made this stay outstanding were our bartenders in the sports bar! Marciano and Selma were so much fun and went above and beyond! Thank you.

We had to ask for an access code every day. A daily rate was offered while he is free. Electronic keys is constantly deactivating.

On the plus side, this hotel is quite within DC. On the flip side though, the rooms are quite cramped. At least, the king size bedroom I was in was quite cramped. Getting to your room in this looong hotel can be a bit of a hike as well. I wouldn't stay here again, given a choice.

Had a good stay with friendly staff! My overall stay was great. They have a full service coffee shop, two restaurants and full bar. Its location is great, walking distance to DuPont Circle. Lots of shops and restaurants around you if you get bored sitting at the hotel. There is also a pop-up farmers market on the weekend right down the street. It was awesome, lots of locally grown fruits, vegetables, meats and other local eats. The only thing I would say is that you have to pay to use the fitness center ($10 per night) that only stays open until 10pm (which is stupid! ). Other than that, the stay was good, not great, but good.

This is not a luxury hotel! In fact, the only thing that makes it seem luxurious is the inflated prices on EVERYTHING. Our garbage wasn't changed from the guest prior. The shower was the equivalent of showering under a garden hose and lastly and the most important to us was they close the courtyard at 11pm. Basically you have a curfew.

Attended a meeting. Rooms were immaculate, clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. I found staff waiting to assist with any issues. Luggage check for 24 hours is only $1, which was nice for sightseeing after checkout. The place is super busy, but for being built in the 70's (? ) I found the place to be extremely modern and beautiful.

Iconic DC hotel rooms are have recently been improved, the conference space here makes it one of the leading business hotels in DC.

We attended a huge event, Washington Mardi Gras.   The staff on every level was professional, rooms were clean, service attentive, facilities amazing i. E. They transformed their huge ballroom each of the for 3 consecutive nights we were there for parties with thousands in attendance.   The food was excellent!   Amazing they can handle such a huge event with no obvious glitches to my knowledge as a guest of the event.   And when we had the smell of cigarette smoke coming in our room through the vent from an unknown source, they immediately relocated us without hesitation so they could investigate the problem.

Check inn confusion. Twice I charged. Water cutting through the night. Excellent breakfast. In the end positive stay.

NOT ask chicken wings if not muuucho like the spicy. It is there, it is true but. Mia Maaaadre. The hotel is a hilton, and that says everything. It is very well communicated and we went down to the Center walking. As a note pedorra tourist, to the window of the room looked monument to Washington. And that selfie worth it.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay last week at the Washington Hilton! My husband, three kids and I stayed there last week for 3 nights on a sightseeing trip to DC. We stayed in a 2 queen bed suite that was incredibly spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and everything was updated and new. We did not eat at the on site restaurant but did order room service for dessert and cannot overstate how good the chocolate torte was. One of the best things about the hotel is its location. It's located within short walking distance from the Metro for easy travel downtown and in the middle of Dupont Circle. We took a guided trolley tour and the Washington Hilton is even a stop on the tour. My kids loved using the outdoor pool and couldn't get enough of the infused water each afternoon in the lobby. The little details and amenities like this made our visit wonderful! I was traveling as part of a media trip so received the media rate during our stay, but was in no way compensated for this review. We just had a really great time.

We had a bad experience with returning the rental car at Hertz, when we arrived, the hotel staff withdrew their car keys without releasing a receipt although to me request twice. On his return to Italy we received a letter from Hertz, from the tone very explicit that they do not find their cars and therefore we've "stolen".

Staying here was a nightmare. I checked in on a Tuesday and had requested no feathers in the room far in advance. It was not done upon arrival. By 2 am, housekeeping shows up with MORE feather pillows. I asked for just some clean pillow cases. I was given three, one of which had a HUGE blood stain all over it. The other two I stuffed with linens form the other bed and some towels. The blanket, also feathers, was removed and I slept under sheets and towels for that night. The next morning, I go to the desk and the manager on duty is going to "personally" resolve this issue and offers me a comped breakfast the next morning. I normally eat some granola and light breakfast, but thought I would take him up on this offer. When returning to my room later that evening, I did notice that the pillows had been switched out to foam, but that the blanket was still feather. I called the desk again and yet nothing. It was not until Friday at 7pm that the gentleman at the desk had it resolved. For having to sleep under towels for three nights, and no housekeeping for two days, he wants to give me 5K Hilton Honors points. I go to check out Sunday, the 18th of May, and there is a breakfast charge and no credit for it. And needless to say, there is NOT a 5K bump in my Hilton Honors points. The lady at the front desk at check out did comp the first night that I slept with no pillows and bloody pillow cases. But the $30 breakfast charge (I know. Crazy hight) still remained.

With well-appointed, contemporary rooms, this updated hotel is sometimes referred to as the Hinckley Hilton. It finished a $150 million renovation in 2010 and is also home to the annual White House Correspondents Dinner. And, smack dab in Dupont Circle making it easy hop from Reagan Airport (coincidence? ) on the Metro with a quick hike up Connecticut Avenue. Restaurants, Washington Sports Club, a CVS and other various and sundry places line your walk — so you're not far from anything at all. The exterior looks like it is from 1965 but don't let that dissuade you. Rooms are small and try to get on the 10th floor so you can enjoy the fruits of the Lounge and escape small rooms. But, you're not in D. C. To stay in your hotel room, so you'll be just fine.

It is the worst of the worst. I do not recommend it, it has very good location but it is very expensive and pork, no fridge in the room, rent a room with living room and the living room was separated from the room, had to leave this and open another door and that was the room, completely ridiculous! disappointing my stay there. The worst.

I have always had a awesome experience staying at Hilton hotels. This location was very pleasant, free extended breakfast for people like me who get up a little later than everybody else. Friendly staff, receptionist, and management team. The rooms are big and very comforting I didn't really know what to expect but I was pleased. They said it is a 3.5 star hotel, I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. Even though it is in the middle of the city you still can relax and offers easy access to metro and downtown DC.

The hotel was fine, like any other Hilton. My only complaint about this one in particular is that despite a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the housekeepers will bang on your door and then use their key to unlock your door if you don't answer it in time (3 bangs and then they're coming in), to see if you need anything. As nice as it is that they want to make sure my towels and sheets are fresh enough (at 12:50pm when most people aren't in their rooms), if I put up a Do Not Disturb sign up, I don't want to be disturbed. Simple. I was just glad I was in my room when they barged in on me, though now I wonder how many times housekeepers will come into your room when you're not there just to "check if you're okay" even with a Do Not Disturb sign up. Big violation of privacy and trust! Also, horribly slow internet that you have to pay for.
