Contemporary hotel providing comfortable, but not overly fancy accommodations, in convenient DuPont Circle location. Breakfast/bar/lounge area fairly spacious and looked inviting, but never tried as site is mere steps from panoply of bars, eateries, fine restaurants and shops. Rooms on smaller side — then again it is DC — but setup well for working, relaxation and sleep, as needs very comfortable. Decent to good water pressure in shower. We would stay here again.

Extremely friendly staff. Very accommodating as I was traveling for a conference for work so the concierge was able to store my luggage post checkout so I didn't have to lug it around with me on the last conference day. Ice machine on every floor and the individual air conditioning control was critical when I was staying there on an incredibly warm and muggy day. Also a short walk to the Metro station which made traveling from New York state a breeze and helped control costs for work.

Conveniently located, rooms clean, and staff is amazing. Had pleasant encounters which each front desk agent, and they all went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were well tooken care of. Will definitely be staying here again when we're in the DC area.

Great hotel with outstanding staff. I also very much liked the location too — nice and quiet — but within walking distance of many restaurants.

Quality hotel in a great location. The staff was great and welcoming. Any time I returned to the hotel the valets, bellmen, and the receptionists all took a second to welcome me back. The room was clean and comfortable and I had no issues with anything not working. I am already planning another trip back to the area and I am planning on staying here once again.

Very nice Courtyard by Marriott. Nice view of the city and very clean. As always in DC parking is an issue, but you can find parking on the street to avoid valley at the hotel.

The service is decent and efficient but more business than welcoming. The breakfast downstairs is good and convenient.

Good size room. Clean and updated. Location was a bit further from the public transportation than I would have liked but still accessible. The front desk told us that they had a Starbucks open 24 hours, which I was excited about. But when we went to the cafe we discovered they it wasn't an actual Starbucks it was just one of those cafes that serves Starbucks coffee. So that was a little upsetting, because that is a big difference.

Guy who works at the valet who wears a checkered shirt was a major jerk to our lift driver. The valet was sitting inside of the hotel clearly taking his time and then was extremely rude to our lift driver when our lift driver was upset for how lazy he was. I wish I could give his service a zero.

The man at the front desk was so nice. Just him alone would make me come back.

As always courtyard Marriott is a nice hotel with great rooms. The pool on the second floor is also quit nice. It's within walking distance of the zoo and metro which is another plus. The only downside is that I'm not a fan of the Bistro, but there are plenty of places nearby.

I really like it here. I wasn't able to book here because of my circumstances for what seemed two long days but on both days the staff here faithfully guided me to making good decisions on where I would stay and I was able to book on the second day.

The location is great. Right on Connecticut Ave. Plenty of food and historic monuments near by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was not large, but had everything I needed, plus a nice TV and mini fridge.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. And the staff offered nothing less than Superior Service. I would highly recommend this property.

I was staying at 1900 Connecticut Ave NW Washington DC 20009. My stay was great but the room is very small. Except that I have a wonderful time.

Great stay with very good service, but it lacks standard marriott perks (breakfast, lounges, water bottles) location was perfect though.

I had a great time at the Courtyard Marriott. This was my third time staying at the location. That staff were wonderful and provided me with complementary bottle of water and late check-out. This is a fantastic location next to amazing food and almost walking distance to the Washington Mall. I will definitely stay here again.

Helpful front desk attendant. Parking on the street, around the hotel, was too difficult so we settled to pay for valet parking. The valet was very nice and helpful.

The location is great — the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. The rooms are very small though, and there are very few amenities on site. For the price it would make more sense to find a nearby airbb on 18th street.

My husband and I came to stay for three nights as I was attending a conference across the street at the Hilton. We only had our room cleaned after the second night and guess what… the maid stole my gold necklace and my silver earrings! THERE IS A THIEF AMONG THEM! I called the general manager and was given the assistant GM who checked the room access card and said the only person who entered was the maid. So there you have it! Ebony said she would call me back and it has been two weeks, going on three and despite my leaving a voicemail, no response. So be aware — do not take any jewelry with you as the maids can take it with no recourse and the management will just avoid you and hope you don't call back.

This place has been so accommodating and kind. Every staff member has gone the extra mile to make my stay here amazing. So thankful I chose this hotel for my birthday stay in DC. Can't go wrong with marriot hotels!

We travel all over the states and stay in different hotel Chains. This time, we had a small misunderstanding at this hotel, but Mrs. Stacy from the front desk was more than professional. What really amazed me was her ability to listen to the situation and come up with a solution. It was customer service at its best. I would definitely recommend this chain of hotels, just wonderful. I would not doubt twice to stay in this hotel again. Very helpful. We stayed in this hotel on Memorial day Week (May29-June1)

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… The stay was very pleasant. We had a good view out the window, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was rather small but it didn't matter to us that much. It's about 2 miles from the Washington monument. The street it's located on is very cool with lots of shops and restaurants.

Room was clean and quiet. Staff seemed nice. The main drawback for this trip was that they added a charge to the room and then justified it by claiming they were not a full Marriott. Just be aware the "usual" perks don't apply here. It took three requests to get the charge removed and a new copy of the folio. I will pass on this location next time I'm in DC for work.

Everything was great and clean. The Starbucks was ope. 24 hours and the location was within walking distance of anything you want to see in DC.

Didn't stay there, but it seemed like a really nice place. Used their valet parking and the service was excellent. Would recommend it.

I stayed here for a week and couldn't be more pleased. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and made you feel right at home. I interacted with everyone from the housekeepers to the GM on a daily basis and thought they were all very friendly. It was was within walking distance of everything you needed and the subway line worked out great. If I had any questions the front desk staff was knowledgeable and helped me find a good route to where I wanted to go. The breakfast bar was not the ordinary breakfast you usually get at most hotels and they even had special happy hour treats for the weekday traveler. The thing I was especially happy with is the fact I could plug my laptop into the television and use the HDMI input. So many hotels won't let you use this feature with locked down remotes. Having worked in the hospitality industry for years I would be proud to have this staff. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, me to they tended properly, very clean, I do check-in earlier than usual for your prompt service of cleaning, it has an excellent restaurant, fouls more dishes but there are excellent and good prices, no doubt it would go.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms that are tastefully decorated. Convenient location. Lots of restaurants and stores around.

Comfortable beds. The room has a nice view but are a little smaller than most other Courtyard hotels.

We had a wonderful stay. Hope that they will continue what they are doing now making people feel that the hotel is always new, clean and comfortable.
Suggestion: please just be consistent in checking the cleaners to make sure there are no dirt left in the dark corners of the room and bathroom that causes the room to smell old and stinky overtime and eventually affect the ambience of the hotel.

The hotel was nice and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovations, though, so entrances are unexpectedly blocked off. The location in DuPont circle is a fun area, though the hotel is about half a mile up the hill from the metro station and most of the DuPont circle restaurants and shops. I liked the hotel and would probably stay again.

And the staff was very nice the doorman very helpful the front desk very helpful staff the restaurant the breakfast was very good, very clean hotel the only thing that I was surprised about is the pool (was closed) WHY?, September 6th?, we love to go swimming! It was warm out! Not Cold outdoors! and I'm hoping the next time I stay they will keep the pool open until it gets cold!

I stayed in hotel from 13 August to 14 August. I was never told that construction is goin on. I called up in morning for noise coming in my room. Staff was very rude, they offered me 10000 points rather than accepting there problem. I love staying in Marriott but this one really disappointed me. My father had heart issues and was not able to bear this noise. I don't like dishonest people and incorrect information. I hope they will learn to handle clients better in future.

I have been staying at the Courtyard Marriott Washington DC on 1900 Connecticut Avenue since 3rd July 2015 and will be checking out in a couple of days. While the room and stay is good, it does not measure up to the standards of Marriott I have been used to staying in countries like India (Goa) and (Milan) Italy. The breakfast offered on B&B basis is very mediocre, not a buffet which is what I expected. Moreover the breakfast offered does not include juice, fruits, yoghurt and the Bistro restaurant services are so poor that they make you feel they are doing us a favor by providing us with the very mediocre breakfast though I have paid for bed and breakfast JW Marriott should watch out for the services offered since it is a matter of credibility for the Marriott group of hotels worldwide. I booked Marriott because of my previous experience but would not recommend the Marriott group in Washington DC.
