Great hotel. Very close to the ferry port in Bilbao. Spacious rooms, good service, friendly staff, great dinning. Would stay at this hotel again, whenever l'm in the area.

I have only eaten and the dishes are delicious and of high quality, highly recommended. The place looks very beautiful and well preserved, I guess that's the way the rooms are but I don't know exactly. Menu prices are quite affordable.

The room was clean and the beds are good. But 90% of the rooms are in an annex to the palace whose windows face the back which provides an incomparable view of the train station. I can personally assure you that the Bilbao commuter train runs from 06:00 until almost 00:00, and in the prime time freight trains pass. Apart the windows are covered with the typical curtain d plastic hotel, q in my case besides broken it was too small therefore in addition to sleeping with the "whisper" of the train t wake up at dawn.

About the restaurant with the menu of the day, menu for €15 with a first second dessert and drink, do not offer aperitif and coffee aside for 1, 40.
Menu of correct quality, good presentation, as a negative point the dessert of rice with homemade milk was without releasing well the starch, hard grains without tying well with the milk without elaborating enough. Good service in room. The best place with its lounges, the dining room, the outdoor terrace with views of the estuary.

Very quiet and with good attention. Large Rooms. The Breakfast buffet was very good. The parking (15 €/day) is small and very narrow. I Do Not put 5 stars because I think it is going to need some reform in the rooms and in the public areas.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. You can't ask for more. Everything's perfect.

Some 3-stars hotels are better than this comparing with services availability. The bathroom is clean, towels white, basic hygiene set but poor light for make-up (lady’s remark :) Conditioner is available, the bed is comfortable, no complains. Safe is also available. The breakfast is really basic. No fresh vegetables, tiny flying bugs under fruit plates / on the fruit as well :) No fresh water served in room, mini-bar is there but not served, looks never been used. Taxi from Bilbao airport cost 35 eur, riding apprx. 25 min. If you want to take public transport — prepare cash (no cards acceptable) to buy tickets in the airport and time for reaching this place.

We stayed with a chest experience and the hotel fell in love in pictures and in person, it is beautiful, the staff is super attentive, Laura from reception informed us to see around the area, the hotel manager was super attentive asking us for the stay and advised a table at the RE Staurante for dinner, the spectacular food, I asked the hake with stew and has been one of the best hake I've tried, for dessert we ordered chocolate cream, with white chocolate foam and ice cream, it looked so good that we did not even picture!

Overnight stay to catch Bilbao to Portsmouth Ferry. Easy access to Port.

The original building is beautiful but it is shocking to be given a room on the first floor and that the garage is on the third or the reception in the fifth, you get the impression that you are sent to a basement. The right staff. I don't like the carpet in the hallways, I don't find it hygienic. The room well in general (if you don't expect great views). The bathroom was a bit dated, with the washbasin in the hallway. Rather scarce hygiene products. Very good breakfast Only one elevator worked. Overall it's OK but to have 4 stars a little disappointing.

Excellent location. Elegant and comfortable decoration that makes one feel very at ease inside, as in a palace we go. The staff, especially at reception, very professional, polite and helpful and attentive. Highly recommended this hotel. I hope to repeat visit in the future!

Beautiful hotel located in a palace. Well-kept rooms, good breakfast buffet. Romantic and very charming place. Ideal for a weekend with your partner. The walk that is in front of the hotel, in the port area is very nice. Spectacular views.
The only downside is that we had a room on the second floor and we could hear the trains passing by. The train station is at the bottom.

Nice staff and very convenient location. The decor of the rooms is antiquated, a lot of dust in our. The insulation is to be reviewed (room close to a track), as well as the plumbing we could not take a correct shower at the temperature that changes regularly. This said the facade of the hotel is beautiful and the common places are also.

Service a little deficient, the photo is of a fried milk with Coulis of red fruits. How can you appreciate, of the red fruits and no trace. We had to look bad, because the tables next door have served the full dishes. Definitely a poor value for money.

We have been to dinner the friends the weekend menu and great everything. The food; The service, the environment and the site. Everything was excellent.

Good hotel. The room was comfortable and the bathed was very nice. I would think you have to hire in breakfast there because I didn't see places around. In fact this service in the hotel is quite cheap, something like 9 euros. And it's a good breakfast. It is very close to the famous hanging Bridge of Viscaya which is a place to visit obligatorily,

My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times (In premium rooms) and everything about the atmosphere and views are great! This hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. Want to know more? Well, the view from the balcony's are simply amazing and the nightlife of the city is spectacular as well. I HIGHLY recommend going during the week of Virgen De Carmen, or another popular festival because the city of Santurce is alive and vibrant. FOOD & DRINKS: The food and drinks at this hotel are not the best (especially the food) so I would suggest going out for tapas instead. STAFF: The maid service is very honest and I never have to worry about them stealing anything. I misplaced my computer and accused the maid of perhaps taking it, she came to my room and showed me were she remembered it was. (Awesome.

Fantastic experience everytime I go. A beautiful hotel, both outside and inside. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Although it is in front of the train tracks, the truth is that I do not hear anything. That are focused on the sea, rooms have spectacular views. 100% recommended and I will repeat this summer!

The building is spectacular, I understand that they have nothing to do in NH and URH companies, but something good had NH, is that you could get close to the building without problems. And there is a barrier that prevents it from you with URH.

It seems to me that value for money is very good. Dealing with excellent staff, very attentive, its proximity to great to get to the Center, metro is true that it is close to the train tracks, but neither is suffering when it passes…

Outside, very nice appearance. Room very well. Ridiculous food with lack of any variety. Super service, very friendly with customers and very good staff professionals.

Total fraud, can't sleep, there are events always with a music high with people running and screaming through the halls and the managers of the hotel when you complain they do nothing, in terms of the food leave much to be desired.

The hotel is good, at night, the proximity to the train tracks makes it is to hear sometimes. The regular cleaning, the treatment very well.

Complete hoax the room in a basement a lot of moisture, hygiene, fatal, climatisation, the more evil that I have seen in hotels in order to very nice on the outside but on the inside it is not even half. In quality price expensive for what you sell will never come back to stay at this hotel and the train it seems that this inside the rooms.

Highly recommended hotel. Excellent treatment. Very clean. Spacious rooms. Great views. The Palace itself is a gem with an excellent environment and rebuilt.

By chance we booked a stay in this lovely hotel and were delighted by the experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and our room was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable. We ate well in the restaurant too for a very reasonable 22 euros including wine and there was no charge for our dog either. We highly recommend the hotel and the town with its riverfront situation. Suite room overlooking the river. Staff very friendly. Very complete breakfast. Well connected with metro and train to Bilbao. The bad thing is that the train tracks are very close so it is oyentrenes early and early in the morning.

Expensive for the quality of the facilities, acceptable with some bonus. Very good deal. Varied breakfast. Via freight train nearby, but it is not annoying. Quiet area with great views.

We bought a few checks of Groupalia with set menu for 35 euros approximately and left completely disappointed. The restaurant is inside, full of corners, quite location. The Real wine and dessert only saved menu. The food, based on cheeks from all sides, horrible.

In my case opinion is focused on service to the customer, since by an issue of force majeure, it was impossible to go to book a double room for weekend which had at this hotel.
Despite to warn several days in advance and although they had every right to not reimburse me the money, never offered another alternative (change of date even to another season, repayment of some night, etc. ) something that I know to occur in other hotel chains. I demanded at least that that room remained empty, something that failed me to make.
I repeat that criticism does not refer to facilities, simply in the service of customer service which, at the height of the crisis in the sector, it seems focused only on enter a few euros more in Exchange for the loyalty of the user.
