Had to stop in Houston for a night, stayed at La Quinta. Wanted a spacious, tidy, clean and well resourced room and found exactly that. Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of food, great coffee. Would stay here again, highly recommend.

This was a very clean hotel and convenient location. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with our stay.

Very nice and clean. Being by the freeway, it was very quiet. Well decorated. Friendly staff. They have the continental breakfast. Good hot coffee.

So it’s taken me a few weeks to post this because I’m just so distraught by how unprofessional, disrespectful, and extremely rude the manager is here. I had over $200 worth of jewelry stolen by someone at this hotel. I called two times, when I realized it was gone, to speak to the manager. I never received a phone call. So my husband and I drove from Louisiana back to Houston just to speak to someone, because we were getting nowhere. When we finally got there, the manager walked right passed us and made us wait 20 minutes. Then when we finally got to talk to her, she explained she never called because she had more important things to worry about. She then proceeded to tell me that I probably did not even look for my jewelry. I then told her I tore every place I’ve been apart! That her establishment was the last place I had it! And not only that, we had a dog with us so we put the “do not disturb” sign up, so housekeeping was not supposed to come in our room. I’m not upset about the jewelry, I’m extremely mad about how the manager handle this. You NEVER tell a CUSTOMER, “I had more important things to worry about”! And then tell a story how you lost your jewlery and then found it! That’s not how you KEEP your customers. We have been coming to this same hotel for two years, once every other month. We will NOT be back!

I'll start this review by saying that in the end the staff tried as best they could to resolve my issues but it wasn't something they could fix in a timely manner. I thank them for all their help. When we arrived at the hotel they checked me into the third floor. After I took my stuff upstairs and came down they told me I had to move to the second floor because the third floor didn't allow pets. This was besides the fact I had mentioned my pet at check in. It happens. No biggie. I go upstairs to get my bags and the card has already been deactivated so I have to go back down to get a new card then back up to finally get my backs. I go back to the lobby, get the key to the new room and go to it. It smells horribly of moisture or URINE. I now go back downstairs for what seems like the 5th time. I tell them of the issue and they say they have no other room available for the nights I'd booked. Their best solution is to switch me to a king (I had a double queen and needed both beds) with a sofa bed. In the morning they would put an order to clean the room I originally booked. I agree because it's now later in the day and I'm not looking to spend more time seeking new accommodations. I get the keys to the new room and once again move my bags. Finally some rest. We take out the sofa bed and what's on the mattress cover for it? URINE. Long story short we finally get the room we booked the next morning and it still smells faintly of urine.

Very nice staff. Very busy. Staff made sure everything was ready and room was clean. Can't ask for more and wouldn't expect less from a LaQuinta.

Front desk service was great, very attentive. Room was clean and up to date with flat screen TVs, fridge and microwave. Shower was amazing. Overall a nice stay. Now, the reason for only 1 star is because of the neighborhood. My vehicle was broken into, along with 2 others during the late night/early morning hours. Shattered the rear glass and completely tore apart the inside of my vehicle. Called police to file a report, waited over 1.5 hours and no patrolman ever showed. Hotel didn’t offer anything to comp me for the trouble. But I didn’t expect them to, what you get to staying in a big city, right?

Service and housekeeping are both very good at this LaQuinta location. Mr. Otha at the front desk is a pro… always very polite and goes above and beyond to make his guests feel welcomed.

The hotel's really good. The bed, desk and chair are comfortable. Other amenities include: refrigerator and television in room, free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast and spa. Although, the hotel does not have a restaurant, they have a store that has frozen, precooked meals (vegan/vegetarian options as well). You can also order from nearby chineese restaurants or pizza places that deliver. The staff is very friendly. The hotel also offers shuttles within a 3 mile radius.

Friendly Staff and clean room. Once more I was a guinea pig for training a new staff member but it was fun like usual. Shout out to Evelyn (sorry if I butchered your name) for doing a great job on handling my check in!

Guy at the phone would refuse to help because I ordered thru a 3rd party and friend that works for la quinta says there are ways to send information of client over. He was just a jerk and wouldn't try.

Room and property looked very new or newly renovated. Doors felt heavy so they helped with noise abatement from outside the room. Lots of channels to choose from on the TV. Complete free breakfast with hot and cold items in the morning. Would stay there again if it were closer to my work location.

Today is our son's 9th birthday and an amazing person at the front desk made sure that the end of his day was special. Our stay has been exceptional and we highly recommend your hotel. Stayed for 1 week. In that week the hotel cleaning staff took my colleague's back scrubber, they didn't empty the trash all week in the bathroom and the bathtubs kept leaking water. And when brought to attention to a hotel staff member, we we're told they would be fixed and they never were.

Very nice hotel, good access, quiet, correct breakfast, no great luxuries but it fulfills its function. Previously we were in another chain hotel in San Antonio and the breakfast had more variety, but anyway, it's a new, clean, and highly recommended hotel.

OK location close to the freeway. The room was average to below average for comparable hotels. Water quality was extremely low and had a strange color and smell, most likely from poor plumbing and old pipes. Front desk personnel were impacient and unfriendly. Breakfast was included but did not try the food. I would not recommend staying at this location.

The service was Exellent. Otha and mikki gave me excellent service. I ONLY NEEDED TO ASK… and it was provided. They also, offered a complimentary breakfast. My room was clean and comfortable. There were five pillows on my bed. The couch pulled out to sofa sleeper for guest. I would recomend this hotel. Service with a smile.

Clean and spacious rooms. Convenient to reach by car and with ample parking. Receptionist not too responsive. Breakfast very American and with little choice. Minimalist Gym. It performs its function and as a quality/price is great!

One of the nicest La Quintas that I've been to in a while. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

First, customer service. Otha, the man running the front desk, listened to our unexpected need for a room and worked with us. The room was clean, comfortable and attractive. We had to stay a second night — unexpected, and he was just as helpful. We love La Quinta and the great care. Thank you Otha!

Excellent service and ready staff for any need. I stayed 25 days there post Harvey and set up an office in my room. Breakfast is OK (eggs and bacon/sausage) and all amenities are present (soft drink machines, small vendor shop, washer/dryer, hot tub).

The front desk sucked except for Classie. The Hispanic chic didn't know what she was doing. My room had some bugs in it and some ants as well. It also had a smell and the phone kept coming a part while I was trying to tell them what was wrong with the room. I ask for a manger and the hispanic chic she couldn't call the manager, but to make it worst I was late to my son birthday party because I had to move asap so since the inconvenience me they only have me 20.00 off. Really never again! Oh yeah the breakfast sucked as well. It's the same breakfast and the are rude server's or whatever you want to call them!

Despite the fact that this place is supposed to be no smoking there's a distinct scent in the rooms. It's musty and cigarette smoky and it really aggravated my migraines. It's also a little rough getting into and out of the hotel. That said, the staff are friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was always really good.

I had the WORST stay/ customer service at the La Quinta Westchase on Harwin street in Houston, Tx the weekend of 10/14/17… Even though I had a reservation requesting an 11am check in when I arrived at the hotel at 1pm my room still wasn't ready! My room was not ready until after 2pm and when I asked for a late check out for Sunday 10/15/17 I was told that would be based on availability really?!?!? So… why wasn't that the case for the person before me that checked out late which coincidentally is the reason that I was given as to why my room wasn't ready on time!

Just called to book a double room for the whole month and receptionist told me call back in 30mn because she is writing report, and then when I told her I am not calling back and she need to process my booking she reply that if I accept to put me on hold. Are you guys no need of customers and pushing away our booking. Good job! Quick way to close soon your business because I am going next door. This employee should be fired to treat a client like this ignorant dumbass b… ch ghetto black rude no need to keep her she will ruin the business.

Love the area and the staff are really nice. The room was missing my tub but everything is good so far. Restaurants and shopping are plentiful within 5 miles.

Room 210: small pillow has mysterious white substance on it. They didn't clean it. Ac doesnt cool the room down.

Location close to highway and near international China Town district. Staff friendly, rooms nice and well kept. Always a trouble free stay when popping in for a dim sum filled weekend.

Check in was quick. Clerk was friendly and provided great info regarding nearby attractions and the best places for Texas BBQ. Room was spacious and clean. AC was set to 65 so it was nice and cool. 50 Inch Vizio hanging on the wall. All HD channels and many of them. Breakfast was good too, great selection of food available. Would def come back.

Very Clean but Staff is very Rude the Breakfast is not good at all. The Eggs were like powdered eggs and they don't offer confinements. Or even have any Strawberry syrup or anything the Waffles. The cleaning of the rooms were not even that good felt like they just made the Bed.

I would give it another half star but an issue with makeup on the bedding and happened upon a crawley critter in our room, yes the kind that multiply quickly. BUT, the GM was extremely apologetic (the whole staff was). She informed us that their pest control folks have come out, did the whole floor and will be back tomorrow to do the 3rd floor. She comped us for a night and has gone out of her way to make things better. She was very kind. Unfortunately with these issues, we most likely won't be staying in another one of their hotels.

This motel is only eight years old but was recently remodeled. The free breakfast was one of the better I've had at La Quinta. They offered a lot of hot breakfast choices that other locations hadn't offered such as sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, toast, and the usual cereal. With all the remodeling I wish this establishment had invested in making the beds more comfortable. Parking wasn't a problem during my stay and the front desk staff were fantastic.

Very clean room, very friendly staff, the shuttle can take you up to 3 miles which isn't very far in Houston but better than most hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast is meh, the hotel feels rather isolated, you might want a car when you stay here. There's a Cheddar's restaurant a block away, but don't go out alone too late, it's a shady area.

Have you ever had to spend a Christmas in a La Quinta? I have. This La Quinta has everything you need to celebrate a proper Christmas morning: beds to wake up in, TBS's 24 hours of Christmas Story to have on the TV, just enough room to open presents (2 year's worth of body wash, a fantastic haul), a fireplace to take pictures in front of, and a staff that's patient enough to let the family (and dog) tromp around in PJ's to celebrate our La Quinta Christmas. Fortunately our visit was almost entirely by choice, but it was still one of the more unique places to have spent a Christmas.

Very clean, close to a lot of westchase businesses. Stayed here for two months so far this year, some of the employees are more helpful than others. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. Overall it is an efficient place to stay.

Nice hotel, no doubt — very friendly staff, nice rooms. The only problem with hotel is that the area is not safe! And they dont have any security measures needed to protect your car on the parking lot. Security guard there just till 2 am and the cameras they have in parking lot are useless because the lights are not bright enough for you to see the footage. How do I know? My car got broken onto on their parking lot causing me hundreds of dollars in repairs. Mangers reply to your complains about parking lot security will be: " we only provide a room for you to sleep'. SO good luck, remove your belongings from the car and hope for best).

This is a nice hotel, especially for the money. Nice, new beds, comfortable sheets and pillows, flat screen TV, decent breakfast. Roomy too. I travel a lot, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any casual or business traveler. Right next to Mi SWACO and Halliburton, so if you have meetings there, this is as convenient as it gets.
