Rewards counter staff is clueless and rude. First counter staff lady I went to gave me a rewards card. I played on that card for the evening. Was told to bring card back to counter before I left for the night to see if I was eligible for any bonuses. I bring card back to counter, second (different counter lady) tells me the name on my account is off from my name on my license. After waiting and waiting, I ask what is the problem with my account. She snaps back "We are trying to figure that out" and she puts my license on the counter. I ask again what is the problem with my rewards card. She points to my license and says "Yes, this is your license" I tell her "I obviously know this is my license" I ask again what the problem is with my rewards card. She tell me the name doesn't match. I tell her the name on the rewards card is the same as my license. Come to find out I was initially given a card with my name on it that is someone's else's card from other state. Manager comes over and they both dismiss me with two egg card bonuses and re-sign me up for a brand new account when I'm leaving. Don't even worry about it, I won't be back!

First time here and had a wonderful experience. Staff was supportive and the people was friendly. Didn’t win my million dollars 💸 this time but I will be looking forward to my next visit.

A bunch of different machine’s ive never played before we just left after having a great time I was so happy to be out of the house after having Covid and surviving that awful virus.

Beautiful hotel. Room was handicap like prom. And big and very accommodating the food places not to many. But found a diner that was fantastic triangle the casino very clean and no smoke smell and all staff very helpful. Would love to return. Ro Ro.

Had a fun time and didn’t do to bad for once, clean and wish they had more machines open.

Very clean and nice remodeling, now if they could lower the air conditioner it would be perfect. Had to go outside. In the month of March to warm up and outside temperature was in the fifties.

It's always exciting to play the machines. They are doing a great job to help with the Social Distancing protocols and of course hearing the jackpot prize winners announced over the loudspeaker helps get the excitement going.

They didn’t like paying in cash. They gave me a check.

Not friendly. If you're not a " high roller" forget it. They think a $3. Free play is something nice. Over the years they have gotten, how (do I say this? ) unfriendly. Oops, there is that word again.

What a great hotel and casino to stay at. The rooms are clean and decorated lovely. We loved the casino and also treated ourselves to dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse. Five stars for sure.

I love going to Saratoga casino and to stay overnight here is great. Very clean Got me a free room at the last minute. Saratoga is the best out of all the casino.

Not helpful or accommodating! Purchased a $400 room 8 months ago for my dads 60th birthday present so he can see the races at Saratoga. The races were cancelled and when I called to see if they can offer another day for the room the “manager” was rude and not accommodating. When asking to speak to his boss he wouldn’t give me a name or contact. Not accommodating at all especially knowing that we booked it 8 months in advance as a gift and they live 5 hours away!

I have been to Vapor night club several times. The staff is Friendly and helpful. They have the best club/sound in the area.
we enjoyed the reserved seating (It's a good deal, you pay for the seats, but get most of you're money back in drinks, and tip included)
we saw the fireworks tonight and they were the best we have seen!

It is a great place to spend the day. And the food is great.

Not like it use to be. Machines are boring unless you're putting big bucks in them. Too many slot machines of the same. Machines are tight and don't hardly pay out.

That buffet is disgraceful… spend your money at lucky Joe’s instead. Everything was cold and had a congealed layer on it.

Casino needs to be updated, buffet needs a totally new menu. All new updates slots machines. Have you been 2 Rivers Casino lately… they have you beat hands down. It will be a long time before we will back. ☹

A decent place to spend a couple of hours. The emphasis is on a couple. There are many slot machines but little else. No outlet stores or any place to shop. There is a buffet, and depending on how much you spend, you get a discount. Even with the discount it's not worth it. The food looks old & somewhat mishandled. The desserts are abundant but nothing special. Plan to dine prior to entering or upon departure.

The casino has a fun buffet that is reasonably priced and quite comfortable. The service is really good. But that's not all. There's other places to eat including a Morton's Steak House as well as a music venue. Slots and harness racing make the time there fun.

Hotel is clean, updated and gorgeous! Casino will take your money too quickly, not a fun place to gamble. Buffet is not the greatest, if eating there you should go to Lucky Joe's (cheap and delicious) or Morton's Steakhouse (expensive and delicious). Turning Stone has an older hotel but the food and gambling are better.

This is a nice place to go to if you like casinos. I personally like the fact that there is no smoking allowed inside. But they do not have table games. However, they do have video table games. The buffet is reasonable, and they have plenty of food. They also have a hotel and a Morton's Steakhouse, which I did not visit. And it is right next to the harness track. And not far from the race track. Plus this place is close to beautiful downtown Saratoga.

Hi! We're having girls week at Lake George and thought we'd try out your casino to occupy us on a rainy day. We arrived around 11:30 a. M. And from the first staff person we encountered (security at the front door) to the last customer we interacted with, what an enjoyable time it was. Didn't break the bank though! Thank you for a great time and also, I want to tell you what an asset your staff are.

Amazing room and service. Great place to be too have a good time. While on location check out the grounds and must check out Morton's Steakhouse. It's pricey so be prepared but the food and portion is definitely worth it. And word of advice it's a bit on the classy side I recommend a casual attire to dine there.

The rooms here are great! The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were like fluffy clouds. Bathroom was also very nice. The staff was also very nice. The reason for only 3 stars is the food options. There is no room service and the only good place to eat is Morton's. Morton's does not do lunch or breakfast. I did not try the buffet, but I did try Joe's pizza. Most of the food there was disgusting. The only thing that was decent was the regular hot dog. There are some very nice places to eat in downtown Saratoga Springs tho. Don't eat at the hotel unless you are going to eat at Morton's alot.

Worst casino, slots are the tightest on Earth. Go here only if you want to donate. I never seen jackpots any where on that day, I can sense worst machines based on my experience… no spins no winning combos… High limit area robs u all over quickly… never and ever I would go back… DO NOT Visit THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY PLAYING SLOTS…

My husband Dan & myself took advantage of a free room & it was wonderful! The service was great-the room was clean & georgeous! We played the slots for a while, ate at the buffet which was delicious & so much to choose from! Played again for a while, went to the bar for a few drinks-went to the room for a while, then went & played for a little bit longer! When we got up next day-we went to the casino for about an hour then went to find someplace to eat breakfast as at that time they really didn’t have a place for breakfast but now they do at least on Sunday morning at the buffet! Overall it’s a great place to stay!

Nice place for the horse racing, but the casino is not very good. The machines are tight and the back of the casino is dark and dingy low ceilings claustrophobic and HOT! (AC was not working) and with a confusing layout. Stay near the front of casino, it is cooler, brighter, and the machines pay better… Restaurants are just ok, nothing special and a bit pricey. Restrooms are fairly clean average, need update. The whole place needs an update, especially the carpet which is a gross light brown with pink flowers? YUK! Also the walls should be painted a brighter and lighter color, especially in back where it is dark and dingy. That would make the place more cheerful.

We were a bigger party and the service started out horrible. We ordered drinks right away but waited over 20 minutes for all the drinks to be fulfilled. Then it took over an hour to get served our food. We had to change our dinner reservations that we had planned tonight because of the lack-luster service. The waitress wasn’t very good. She forgot one of our dinners and didn’t know her menu at all. I’m sorry we came here. It was a waste of time.

Always great room and front desk. Was really upset when I ordered takeout from the steakhouse expecting the $20 special and I ended up paying over $50. When I was ready to eat it, I was shocked with how small the piece of steak was. And along with the disappointment of dinner, I was awoken with the fire alarm going off. This was the 3rd time that has happened to me. As far as the restaurant in the casino, the meat that is sliced individually as requested, that meat is very dry. When I mentioned that to a chef, they just looked at me and said nothing.

The physical service provided was great. I had no problem making reservations online. Which is good. Because the hotel does not answer its phones. Ever. So if you have a question or concern, I sympathize. Otherwise, top notch service!

I stayed at the hotel a month ago and I had a great time! I am also going back june 6th to stay and see thunder from down under and of course to gamble! the rooms are very comfortable and clean, the buffet has quite a selection to choose from and the entire staff is so friendly! I plan on staying at the hotel once a month as I love to gamble late at night and staying at the hotel is so much better than night driving. I really enjoyed waking up and going for a swim as well. Keep up the great work Saratoga, you guys are terrific!

My husband and I stayed here for a night at their hotel. Their policy regarding drinks (even if it's diet soda) being brought from the "hotel" area to the casino area is very arbitrarily enforced. You may or may not be able to bring a drink from your hotel room to the casino floor, whether or not it's in a glass container. This is the first casino I have ever been to deny a drink being brought from the hotel to the casino in a plastic cup, yet I watched several (older) people be admitted into the floor with glass beer bottles being brought in from the parking lot outside into the building… 100% will not stay here again. Turning stone and Rivers let you bring your own booze no problems… as well as every other casino I've ever been to in my entire life. Get your act together Saratoga and enforce your policy equally or not at all.

Hotel room was spacious and clean. The casino I felt however was not clean and kept up. Comps are mediocre at best. After playing slots for over 6 hours we basically got $2 off our meal at Lucky Joe's. Payouts not that great either. Places to eat a disappointment, except for Morton's but if you wanted to grab a quick bite all there is is Lucky Joe's and that consists of frozen food heated up in the microwave.

Nice place and the casino buffet is really excellent… a delight. The chef who takes care of the grill is very friendly. Really a place I go back to my next move to Lake George Saratoga.

We wanted to see if this casino was better than Rivers. Definitely more outdated but that's to be expected considering it's age. We saw a show at Vapor called 'dueling pianos' which was fantastic. These guys were energetic funny and great on the keys. Will go back for shows but that about it. Like the electronic blackjack too. That was fun. Seems like an older crowd than Rivers.

If you only like slots then this is the place for you. They got hundreds of them. Unfortunately they have no table, well they do have virtual tables, that's not the same though. Has good views in the summer I'll give it that. Food is alright at the most. Between this and the great new Rivers Casino they built both are pretty awful. Find Turning Stone to be a lot better than these two but it is also a lot farther away. But I guess for the surrounding area it works. I don't go jumping up and down saying let's go to Saratoga.

A friend an I went up on a whim. We booked the last avaliable room in the hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous. It was large and nicely decorated. The rooms are kept nice. We had outstanding dinner at Morton's steakhouse. Our meals were excellently prepared. Our server was over the top as far as service. The front desk staff were very friendly upon our check in. We gambled until the wee hours into the evening and we both won.

NY doesn't allow many true casinos. Instead they have their own electronic version of scratch off lottery tickets. This "racino" is always clean and always open. Best of luck!

Well I had a free room offered via an email I received. Even though we only live 45 minutes from Saratoga, we decided to make it a date night since we also had a gift card for a restaurant in Ballston Spa. So we went up early in the day, checked into our room (which was ready). Gambled a few hours then left for dinner. Came back and gambled for a few more hours in the evening. Didn’t win, but had fun. When we checked out in the morning, our bill had a zero balance due. The only other casino that we have been at that truly gives us a ”free” room is TurningStone.
Vegas and Atlantic City not only charge a $30 plus resort fee “daily” but tax on top of that. How do you get taxed on a free room?
So all in all, I would return to Saratoga Casino, especially if given a free room.
Can’t say anything about the food as we did not eat there.

Doesn't pay unless your high tier like my husband in their point system. Games have high lost ratios and free play at anything under premier is a joke. Good outside of Morton's steak house is sub-par.

We had a nice evening at the casino. We started with dinner in the Garden Buffet. There was a well rounded variety to choose from such as a few different Chinese dishes, then there were some Italian choices, and there was a meat carving station with Turkey and beef. Then there were plenty of side dishes to go with these choices. There was also peel and eat shrimp, crab meat salad, and cod for fish selections. There is also a salad bar as well. Then of course you can't forget to mention the extensive selection of delectable desserts. We ended our visit playing some slots.

Enjoyed my stay, our room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were fabulous. Can't wait to return. I will make sure to pack my bathing suit to try the beautiful pool and spa.

I had a great Experience at the Casino. I think it's a good place to spend some time and money. I came back with more than I went with. I had a great time yesterday.

Casino review only… Not a lot of winning any more. Seems like machines are tweaked to hit more on weekend nights, but still too easy to blow thru a few hundred within an hour or less, and I'm not a big bettor. Haven't hit a Major jackpot in 2 years, hit 3 within 5 months before that. Something's not right there. Crowds have diminished since Rivers. Staff is friendly. New machines recently, doesn't help win more, unfortunately. Electronic roulette is a favorite but better some days than others also. Still, prefer here to Rivers.

Clean, modern and quaint hotel and casino. Rates were very reasonable. From my room I could see the horse racing track. They hire a lovely horse & carriage service as a free mode of transportation to the racing stands. All in all a wonderful stay.

Fun while playing, but winning has really slacked off. Don't go as often anymore. Still I did enjoy myself and people there. Staff, especially night staff very pleasant.

Absolutely a beautiful hotel. You can see the trotters in the morning doing their warm ups right from your hotel window. That was quite the experience.

Adore the decor and style of this hotel but not quite kid/family friendly. Pool was nice but food options were limited as most was in the casino where children aren't allowed. Shuttle drivers were nice.

Well, it's a fun place and the people are really nice. Of course, you've got to be responsible with your money. There are also very good restaurants in it. With very reasonable prices. And there is an extremely nice hotel attached to the casino. It's expensive but worth it.

The Racino and Casino is huge and comfortable. The town is tranquil and serene. Just stay away from the racist Salvation Army staff and.

Love this hotel. Perfect mid-week get away. Booked on-line with ease. Very reasonable for race season and so close to everything. Decor is new and everything was sparkling clean. Each employee we encountered was so accommodating. The Front Desk staff, the shuttle drivers, waitstaff at Morton's Steak House. The fact than you can watch the trotters or go to the Saratoga Race way is outstanding. View from our room overlooked the trotters practicing during the day and racing at night. The hotel shuttle is awesome. Park your car and just forget about it until you check out. Shuttle takes you to track and to downtown Saratoga then picks you up with a simple call to the driver. I can not say enough about this hotel. Casino is huge and no smoking… Foxwoods move over. I'll drive the extra 40 miles for this one!

Good simple buffet selection — not much in sugar free desserts. Their "real" (not frozen fruit) blueberry w/feta was great as well as their fresh fruit selection. Machine Casino (no card tables) did not pay out well on Sunday & Monday.

Nice room, we'll decorated. Limited number of towels but they will provide more if you ask. Rooms are quiet. Great views of race track.

Update (5/28/17) just left again. I've decided to keep track of what I have after I spend the original money. At the end of 75 dollars the machine had 27 dollars in it… that's 36%… that's extremely low for any casino, probably less than a scratch off. I will keep updating as much as I can. (Ps, I played that 27 dollars through at 1.20 spins and made two positive wins before it went to zero) Just left… took 43 spins (on 80 cents a spin) before I got my first win (more than 80 cents) … overall I got a positive win 9 times out of approximately 150 spins… I'm going to start document my plays… takes about 4 minutes to go through 75 dollars at 80 cents a piece. 7 dollars was our biggest win… it was on a bonus game where we got twelve spins with 2x win.

Hotel is beautiful and the casino is fun. Biggest downfall of this place is just the simple fact of booking a hotel over the phone! Its nearly impossible to get thru on the line and then takes forever them for them to call you back. Tried calling tonight. Looks like be staying at a near by hotel to rivers. Get more phones and make it more easy to book a freaking hotel!
