I’m working the Americade event as a vendor so my boss put me and my coworker up at the South Broadway Inn and “spa”. After working the first day of the show we arrived at the motel for our first nights stay. The first red flag was that my boss instructed us “the key is under the mat”… of which was left for us by the hotel staff! Security? Yeah, not much! For all we know some creep could have found our key and been waiting for us. I knew based on that we were in for a surprise. See, as an avid watcher of “Hotel Impossible” I can assure you that Anthony Scaramuchi, the host, equivalent to a Gordon Ramsey of Kitchen Nightmares, would 100% freak out on the motel’s apparent lack of guest safety. We arrive, it’s dilapadated, depressing, outdated, there was no staff on site, the toilet was wobbleing, lack of amenities, terrible, upkeep on the landscaping, over flowing dumpsters… disgusting. This place IS A DUMPSTER! Talk about neglecting a motel, this place hasn’t received any updating in 30 years not to mention any real upkeep in at least 5. DON’T STAY here! We spent one night and are refusing to return.

This was a very good hotel the owners are very nice well up kept rooms. The room rates are reasonable and lots of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.

Very very modest Motel. We also had trouble getting the keys being the front desk closed. The room knows of mold, it costs little but it offers even less. Not to repeat. The ProX time I will be better with online bookings. Ah prepayment If we didn't go away.

This place is not nearly as bad as some of those negative reviews might lead you to believe. Yes, it’s old, but the TV is new, the room is clean and the staff was very helpful. And it’s one of the cheapest places to stay in Saratoga, especially in the summer. Oh, and this is not a bs fake review.

We reserved 2 rooms ($90 ea) to stay Overnite in Saratoga after a wedding on Oct. 10. The wedding was called off (bummer) mid August. August 16th we called the Inn and told them what happened. I figured we wouldn't get all the money back. But they would NOT refund any money cause they have a 30 day room cancellation policy. The NYSAG office will be getting a phone call.

The place is under new management and they are making improvements. Our room was recently, but not completely, updated and very clean. The manger was really helpful and friendly. The location is very good. We walked into the town. In all, we had a really nice stay for our first visit to Saratoga.

Shower won't drain. Walls dirty. Nothing besides TP and soap. Walls filthy. Not sure I trust the bedding in clean. No iron, hair dryer, or anything. Not worth it. Also smells musty and like bug spray.

Motel is old but it was clean. Understand that it was recently bought by new owners that are renovating it. I try to support up and coming small businesses and hope others will patronage them as well. The rooms would benefit with some light shades of paint over the dark walls.

Spent a night with my family. Was shocked by the room. Door to thw bathroom just is not meant to be locked or even closed. It was some kin of crooked leaving a huge hole between door and the wall (about 4 inches all the way from bottom to the top) Water just doesn't go out from the sink or bath cabin so if one person just took a shower you will be standing and taking shower in dirty water… Was pretty noisy all night long. After midnigjt, still partying at the parking lots, leaving lits of beer cans and other trash on the parking in the morning. 10am, it is still there, noone cares about the noise or trash. Room was pretty dirty in general as well. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

These scumbags are lying, dishonest people. They tried charging me a $250 "Smoking Fee" and I DON'T EVEN SMOKE. Nobody in the room smoked while I occupied it. Disputed with credit card but best for future potential guests to avoid the hassle and stay elsewhere!

We stayed here for a concert at SPAC. Very close to everything. Staff was friendly and very accommodating when we arrived early at check in so they could find us a room. Clean beds and bathroom looked like it was redone. Very nice area. We'd stay here again!

This a very nice quiet place to stay. It is under new ownership. Nice rooms. The only thing I wish they had would have been a mini fridge. If in area in the future will stay here again.

New management is very nice and it's putting a lot of work into renovations. Rooms are clean and nice, the location is great too.

Wonderful place for vacation. Really enjoyed the springs and the location of the motel was great. Expecting to visit there again before Christmas.

I swear the 5 reviews below mine are from the owner. This place is not all that great. The hotel is OLD and not conveniently located. Its about a mile away from the heart of Saratoga. A mile isn't that far, but if are interested in walking to events everyday, it can be a nuisance, especially when walking back late at night. I'd rather just pay the extra $30 and stay right in downtown. Overall, the hotel was fine, just very old. It has wood paneling on the walls which kind of turned me off as well. Ick. The place needed to be updated 30 years ago.
