Beautiful hotel! Passing through town with our family, looking for a nice, quiet place for the night. Room was perfect, it had everything you may need, and we were walking distance to several restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Beautiful, even the pullout couch bed was very comfortable. Cannot think of any negatives about this hotel or its restaurant, Fish. The food was delicious.

The Pavilion Grand Hotel advertises itself as a luxury hotel but falls really short. The photos are gorgeous and at first glance, so are the suites and penthouses. I stayed in a suite with my partner recently, and the AC unit is placed in the living room with a small vent to the bedroom. The bedroom was easily 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the suite. Due to our discomfort, they upgraded us to a penthouse for no additional charge, with 2 beds, 2 floors and 2 terraces. The rooms are generally clean and housekeeping does a great job; however, there is so much space in both the suites and penthouses that isn't utilized at all and just looks awkward. The carpets look old and have visible stains on them. Walls and furniture are scuffed and damaged. The smoke alarm was chirping due to a low battery, and after maintenance replaced it, it still wasn't working. The bathroom door in our penthouse didn't shut properly; not sure who they hired contractor wise, but it was probably someone with little skill. The molding was visible in several spots on the ceilings, and our toilet paper holder fell off the wall several times. The faucet handles in the showers weren't attached properly and were loose. Water pressure in the showers was poor. *ALL* of the coffee that we had stocked was decaf. The binders they have describing room service and amenities had torn up pages because they didn't bother putting them in sleeve protectors.

Clean and modern. Super helpful and friendly staff! Ask for the Bloody Mary! Delicious!

Rooms are outstanding, they are bright, big and modern. Everything was great, the service, the room, the proximity. We really enjoyed staying there even if it only was a one night stay.

I had nothing but trouble from the moment I arrived. Nothing they promised happened. To list the mistakes would take forever but I will warn you that they may put a double hold on your credit card and it may take days for them to rectify proper charges, which is what they did to me. I have wasted 2 days of my life after returning home getting the charges corrected. One highlight was Gloria of housekeeping who couldn't do enough for us. Jared DeMagistris, the assistant manager could take a lesson from her. He acted very frustrated with me for all of THEIR many mistakes. He still has not emailed me an itemized receipt of my stay and I checked out 3 days ago. I will never stay there again. Stay at Adephi!

The pavilion is absolutely superb! From the front desk to the house keepers. Katrina, Erica and staff are awesome. The ladies went beyond my expectations.

Awesome experience and we'll taylored atmosphere. Great service. The hotel rooms are fantastic. I enjoy staying because it reminds me of being in an apartment or condo rather than a hotel. Great location as well.

Our best stay ever! Everything was outstanding, from the views from our spaces, the staff, the set up, everything! This is the place to say and when you are able to have a room with just the chance to step outside onto a beautiful patio, it is all worth it. We had snow and it was still beautiful & perfect. They pay attention to everything and you won't be disappointed at all.

Beyond outstanding. We had a pleasure of staying here during this past weekend and it from the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. We were greeted right away and blown away by just the overall look. Our Penthouse was beyond what we could have dreamed of, and they really have thought of everything. As event professionals, the simple attention to detail in the rooms from where the closets are, the bathrooms, and the special formal wear hooks, the kitchen, the outdoor, everything was perfection. There is something wonderful about having a space that allows you to step outside even if it is snowing for just a bit. The staff here is driven to make sure you are well taken care of. Also they are in walking distance of everything and have yummy food on site at Fish. Yum.

This hotel never ceases to amaze! Myself and a few friends came up for chowderfest and got a penthouse. The room is literally fit for a king and has two floors with walk in closets and tons of room to relax. Staff was great and accomadated everything we needed. 2 minute walk from the downtown area so the location is perfect and we even had a chance to eat at the restaurant there Fish which is unbelievable! Must stay here when I Saratoga.

Great hotel. Beautiful suites and the seafood restaurant there is crazy good. Only negative point is the breakfast counter. Not really great.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. It exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful and the staff was amazing. We are already planning on staying again next year. Thank you for making our anniversary extra special!

Wonderful hotel! The rooms are very nice and the service is great. There is valet parking as there is not really street parking. The meeting room is excellent and has access to the roof patios. The catering is also good. Overall it was a great experience.

The pavilion Grand hotel was a great location for my wife and I to enjoy Saratoga from. The suite was spacious and nice and it was a short walk to anything in town. We were a bit disappointed in the linens which had an orange stain to them, but otherwise we were very happy.

This was my first stay at the Grand Pavilion and I was beyond impressed! They gave me a complimentary room upgrade from a Signature Suite to a Concierge Suite. The staff was extremely helpful and got me what I wanted. I will definitely return!

What an amazing hotel! Perfect location, very spacious, clean & high end. The spa was also increidable. I highly recommend McKenzie for massage! We will be back!

The room was beautiful. Our patio had some garbage on it. Check in took almost 20 minutes and we could not check in early. Our mini bar was empty. Room service took about half hour for a bottle of wine and a 20% gratuity was added automatically. We had three bathrooms and three balconies, a beautiful kitchen and great dining area. Location was perfect, although you can hear everything outside so being near the nightlife had its pros and cons. I would say that in general things were great, but the attention to detail you expect in a classy hotel was lacking.

I wouldn't stay here again. My wife and I got the penthouse suite. Granted the room was nice and clean but the hallway reaked of fish. The door wouldn't shut unless you slammed it. I discovered this because we left and came back and the door was ajar and open the whole time we were gone. There was a lot of street noise from the bars and than noise from partying neighbors. Worse to me we have a two year old and the lazy ass doorman routinely would not get up to open the entrance when we were carrying her and our bags in with our hands full. He just sat there playing on his phone. Room service was very expensive and valet was extra. On the day we left there was a homeless person sleeping on the front stoop. My wife tried to schedule a massage and they had no openings. Just not what'd you'd expect from a high end place in this price range. Beyond that it's in a nice location and the building would have been nice minus the fish smell but what high end place has a penthouse suite that reaks of dead fish.

I think this was my 4th time staying at the Pavilion Grand, and it continues to be one of my favorite hotels. I travel up and down the mid-Atlantic, and the Pavilion Grand is one of the best places in any city u visit. I heard that it was originally built to by luxury apartments/condos, and it shows. I've​ stayed in one bedroom suites and two bedroom suites, and both are outstanding. It's 1 block from the main street in Saratoga (I think Broadway), so you can walk to anything you want. Within the past year a nice restaurant has opened that is connected to the hotel, and their breakfast/lunch bistro in the lobby has been upgraded.

The rooms at the Pavilion are exceptional. The service is very good as well. They look to make your stay very comfortable.

My boyfriend and I go up every year to Saratoga and every year we stay at the Pavilion Grand. Its location is ideal for being in the heart of town. You can walk or take a short ride to all attractions and restaurants. The hotel is modern and comfortable with great amenities and friendly staff. It can be a little more on the pricey side compared to some of the other hotels in the area. However it is absolutely worth it you get what your paying for.

My husband and I stayed in the Pavilion Grand before the hotel was even opened for our wedding. We had me and our bridesmaids get ready in one suite while my husband and our groomsmen got ready in another. After our wedding, a bunch of people stayed in the hotel. We were greeted with friendliness and non-stop service. They made us feel like family. I would have my wedding party stay in the Pavilion Grand Hotel again in a heartbeat, and I hope we can stay there when we visit over the summers! Do not hesitate. Stay here!

This hotel is awesome. I stay at a lot, and this is absolutely in my top 5 ever. Granted, I was in a two bed/two bath suite that's twice the size of my apartment, but still. The room I was in was a corner room with a big bank of windows looking right at the heart of Saratoga Springs, which is just a block from the hotel. Outstanding service from the front desk as well. I will be back if I get the chance.

Beautiful hotel, Great staff, huge room and great all around service. To sum it up in one sentence. The hotel, is clean, well maintained and very modern when it comes to features of the hotel. The staff is always happy and in a good mood to cater to you. There were very quick calling a taxi to and from the Gideon Putin were a press event for the New York Press association was being held. The rooms were one the the largest rooms I have ever stayed in. There was a full sized kitchen, a large dinning room table in the room, a bedroom, a living room and two full size bathrooms. Fantastic upscale and full size room. From this standpoint I can't give the Pavilion a higher rating (5 stars). The only downside to the hotel is lack of a restaurant at the hotel. Supposedly, according to the staff, there building a seafood restaurant, hopefully its good and that it's built by next time I stay at the hotel. Room service was quick and attentive. The bagels at the hotel are very overprise, butter bagel cost $4.20. I know why complain about $4, well because it was a regular bagel with no loxs, which was disappointing. So my advice go for breakfast somewhere else, but being in Saratoga, New York there's lots of options. Other than that, the hotel is situated in a great location, at the heart of Saratoga, NY. Tons of small businesses with great clothes, Jewelry and other small knick nacks.

My friends got married and the Grand Pavillion upgraded their room to a penthouse. They were very accommodating and professional. Will recommend to others.

I stayed at the pavilion with my fiance and we had an amazing time. We had never been to Saratoga and our first time here was an amazing experience. The hotel was what we were hoping for; great accommodations, close to so many great food locations, great service. The suite was like staying in an upscale apartment. We didn't give it five stars only because our towels were a little dirty, but can forgive that due to the other pluses. We would definitely come back.

Upon arriving to our Hotel we choose to take advantage of the Valet Parking, even though we had access to free parking near by. It was the best choice and well worth the fee. John took excellent care of us parking and helping us with our luggage both when we arrived and when we left. His customer service skills are over the top and left a wonderful impression. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious, very quiet and very clean. A few days before our arrival, the Luxury Boutique Spa which is located in the hotel called to see if we were interested in any SPA services. I booked one of the best massages I have ever received and I have massages very frequently. The STAFF were excellent! We definitely look forward to our annual trips to Saratoga Springs and staying at the Pavilion Grand Hotel!

Great room, great location great service. A group of us stayed and celebrated New Year's eve at the Pavillion. The staff were great — and very helpful to our many friends who visited and celebrated with us. We ate dinner at Mingles — the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. Food was magnificent and again, the service was great.

Bob and I had the best time for New Years! We had our friends over all the world come visit here and it was a top notch class. Stay. Every one waits on you hand on foot — no matter where you go. This is the place to come for a Saratoga Springs Experience visit.

Place is great! Phenomenal rooms! And the service is great. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again. The whole hotel is immaculate. Pillows could be better. They feel like they are filled with air. Really wanted to pop one just so I could get a better night sleep lol. The only qualm I have is room service. Not everything is available at all times. Meaning I'd rather have a burger at 10pm rather than duck. But that's just me ☺.

I Stayed at the Pavilion Grand hotel recently. It was one of the better hotels in the area. The front desk was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were very nice and loved the look and feel. The food there was very good and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Saratoga springs NY.

Just stayed at the Pavilion last weekend. What a place! First, I must highlight the location. It's right downtown and a short walk to everything Saratoga has to offer. Inside you will find a classy modern design with a staff that's still "getting the hang of things' (they just opened about a month ago). The rooms are large and very clean with horse/track — related images throughout the hotel. They have a beautiful balcony area that they close at night. Kind of a bummer! You can only get out on the balcony during the evening if you have the luxury penthouse suite. They don't have bibles in the hotel which I found to be a bit out of character. We also found nice white robes in the closet but they wouldn't give us extra when we called. Great place. I would stay again, if I wasn't such a cheap-o.
