It's an absolutely beautiful hotel. My room is awesome and the courtyard is one of my favorite things about the hotel.

Horrible mattress but a nice hotel otherwise.

They are thieves. Poked on Expedia and after we checked out we noticed the hotel overcharged us by $150. Stay very far away from these crooks.

We had my daughters wedding here this past May and everything was absolutely beautiful. All of the guests staying at the hotel really enjoyed the atmosphere and breakfast in the courtyard every morning.

We had a Fantastic Fourth of July ❤️ staying at Hotel Mazarin. The Staff was very Helpful and Friendly. They made our Visit such a pleasure to Be.

The hotel was an okay place to stay. It has an exceptional location. We were a bit disappointed in our room, however. We booked a “deluxe” king room. The room was very small. It’s basically the bed, 2 nightstands, and enough room for a chair. There was also a TV on a stand. The room really was unexceptional. That being said, they do give you a rather decent complimentary breakfast and bottled water in your room. You’d probably have to book a suite to give a decent sized room. We felt like we were in a closet. I’d stay here again, but we’d have to spend much more $$ for a decent sized room.

We absolutely loved everything about this lovely hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts are scrumptious, but most of all the people who work there are each and everyone the kindest, caringest group of people one might ever encounter. Great environment and great staff!

We went for our sister’s wedding. The facilities and service were spectacular. Very happy weekend.

Positive experience. Free breakfast is a positive. Helps you save a few dollars in an expensive city. One perk is the complimentary drink at 21st Amendment. A nice little spot owned by the hotel. The hotel is right off Bourbon Street so you get to enjoy the party every night. The staff is helpful. If it's raining, stop by the front desk and ask to borrow a complimentary umbrella. First come first served. Stayed in a king bedroom on the second floor. Room is as pictured. Intimately sized.

Excellent hotel staff greeted us immediately upon entry and offered my fiancee and I bottles of water due to the extreme heat. The room was spacious and the extras included in the room were very welcome. The entire property was beautiful including the two bars within. The welcome cocktail was highly appreciated! To cap it all off breakfast had long hours, a wide selection, and it was all very tasty. The only minor criticism was the relatively slow Wi-Fi. Excellent in nearly every regard.

Great location and close to several excellent restaurants, if your looking for the busier French Quarter. Close to Bourbon Street but relatively quiet rooms. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with getting around town. Breakfast was included and the hotel appeared clean and well kept. I stayed in a room on the outside courtyard and there was some construction noise pretty early in the morning, in case you were looking to sleep in. The rooms could also use some curtains since a lot of sun comes through the vertical blinds in the morning. Overall slept well, but I wasn’t out partying late either.

Just returned from a stay at the Mazarin. The hotel is situated in the heart of the French Quarter. From the minute we arrived we knew our stay was going to be perfect. The rooms were very clean and very well maintained. We were made to feel very welcome by all of the team at the Mazarin. Must give a special mention to the concierge (can’t recall her name) who was so friendly and helpful, even gave us some great advice on dealing with (Southwest Airlines). Also a big shout out… to the free breakfast, which not only included the healthier type of breakfast, but also cooked food. We stayed in room 515, and the room was a deluxe room. Had read about noise affecting this hotel, but to be honest, our room on 5th floor, was not affected by noise (partying didn’t go on directly outside our room) Please feel free to see my review of the hotel I have posted in posts, high includes a video review of the hotel, breakfast, and room 515.

The rooms are spacious and stylish. The location in the French Quarter is wonderful. Right in between Bourbon and Royal. Parking is a little atrocious in price. They give you a complimentary drink ticket upon check in but it seems a handful of hotels do this so not a new gimmick. The breakfast is nice and the staff are friendly.

Wonderful quiet property in the heart of the French Quarter, coffee and breakfast were good. Staff especially Victor were very helpful. The courtyard was a quiet retreat from the bustle of Bourbon Street.

Loved our double balcony room. Do expect some noise late (earplugs can help). Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice and unique hotel. Rooms are generally small but perfect for sleeping and resting before going back out to experience the town. Staff was nice. Building is a bit confusing at first with a bunch of turns and twists. Very unique compared to a standard hotel. It's right off of bourbon too in the heart of the French quarter so you don't have to go far for dinner or drinks. Definitely would consider staying here again.

Extremely nice hotel with beautiful courtyard. The bar is very classy and nice on site. The conference rooms are nice too. I attended a conference here. Parking is valet only.

We just returned from our 4 night stay at the Hotel Mazarin. All I can say is it is a wonderful place. Very friendly staff and beautiful room. Beautiful courtyard where at the end of the night you can come back and relax in peaceful tranquility while having a drink by the fountain. We received a couple of complimentary drinks at the 21st Amendment bar which is attached to the hotel by what I called my prohibition escape route. From the bar you swipe your room key to gain access to the back staircase or elevator to the hotel. We were back to our room before we knew it. My wife had forgotten something from her beauty kit and I had to make a run to the drug store. I took the same way out through the bar as it was a quicker. It made me feel like Al Capone coming out next to the stage during the live jazz show. A wonderful hotel and would recommend to anyone traveling to New Orleans.

You walk into this beautiful hotel with anticipation of their beautiful and romantic southern courtyard and want to head straight for it because you know that you'll never want to leave it. But wait you almost forgot you have to check check in. Lol We arrived after midnight to a warm and welcoming staff all smiles and asking how our flight was and did we need anything extra. Of course if you know me I need lots of pillows and I didn't have to wait long. When we go to our wonderful and very clean room with soft white bedding! I love white bedding but I have dogs lol so its special when I'm surprised with it. As we get off the elevator we have to walk around the courtyard on the balconys OMG beautiful from the 2nd floor and even better while having breakfast in the courtyard looking up or when you get back in the evening and get comfy and come down to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Great staff from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out they are more then co workers they are a family. I miss them almost as I miss the courtyard. I highly recommend Hotel Manzarin for many reasons, great location, wonderful staff, yummy breakfasts every morning, The Courtyard, clean rooms, and the overall New Orleans experience!

Great place. Very comfortable and friendly employees. Older hotel, but clean and well maintained. Breakfast starts a little late (7am), but it's very good buffet style with some a la carte items. The morning birds are a little loud in the morning (4:30 am) in the courtyard. Elevator is small, but aside from those minor things, it is a great place to stay.

Wonderful hotel. So close to Bourbon street, but once inside you feel miles away. Have a hot breakfast in the courtyard on a lazy Sunday morning. Listen to some great music at the attached 21st amendment. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Close to the heart of NOLA.

From the moment we checked in our entire stay was wonderful! I was told our room would be a little tricky to find at first, in the second courtyard area, but the concierge heard that and went out of his way to not only walk us there but also carried my heavy bag up the stairs, which I greatly appreciated! Our particular room was quaint, clean, quiet, and comfortable, which I was very happy with. The location was ideal, we stayed for 3 nights during Mardi Gras and were only steps from Bourbon St, and a short walk to everything else the French Quarter has to offer! I was also surprised by the breakfast items, one review I had read said they only offered pastries, which I found out was not true. There is a full complimentary breakfast consisting of fruit, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, juice, coffee, muffins, cereal, etc. So that was a pleasant surprise. Our last night there we did try to use our coupons for a drink at the 21st Amendment bar, which had a nice vibe and entertainment, but it was so busy we were unable to get a seat, and if we had more time we would definitely have gone back. Overall, if I ever visit New Orleans again I would 100% choose this hotel!

This hotel was great! Super fancy, with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and an amazing location just off Bourbon street. The courtyards take this place to the next level. There is a bar attached called 21st Amendment that had great live music. Breakfast was delicious. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit… so much good stuff. Thanks for having us!

Amazing rooms and amazing service. Staff was amazing — — We had huge bags strapped to the roof of the car that they helped us get down while happily chatting with us. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. It was icy everywhere and they helped us find the safest route to our next destination, and seemed concerned for our safety. The room was gorgeous. Marble everywhere, amazing decor, comfy beds. The fountain in the courtyard could be heard faintly. It was paradise. Our stay included free drinks at the 21st Amendment, a prohibition-era themed bar attached to the hotel. I am not a drinker, but the vibe in the bar was a lot of fun and I recommend visiting, even if you only get water.

The concierge is very helpful and the staff are very friendly and responsive. The rooms are clean and the beds are VERY comfortable. It is walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. I would recommend staying here.

A gem in the French quarter. Luxurious rooms, lovely ambiance, and good amenities. We stayed as part of a wedding group, and enjoyed it as both a hotel and the venue for a fun and elegant wedding.

Fantastic hotel. Staff goes above and beyond for you and they are a pleasure to speak to. Always helpful and cheerful. The rooms are gorgeous. Comfortable bed, marble flooring, exquisite bathroom, and more. It is located one street over from Bourbon; just close enough to walk over in seconds but far enough to not hear any noise. The hotel also serves continental breakfast in a beautiful courtyard. The food is much better in quality when compared to the big hotel chains. This is one hotel you don't want to miss staying in! 5/5

The hotel is ideally situated in the French Quarter. It doesn't have any modernity besides an elevator. The rooms are fine but could be a lot cuter with an older style approach. Right now it feels like mayve questionable 80s vibes. Service is great except for the one person I asked for to get me salt from the kitchen area and refused. I was beyond sick and could barely stand (needed it to calm my throat) and he told me to go around the block. Even after I explained to him I physically couldn't. There is no room service or kitchen. Free breakfast is at best a bowl of cereal and 2% milk unless you like bland food.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! Our room was gorgeous! We were worried it might be loud being next to Bourbon St, we didn't have any noise issues at all. The staff were amazing, professional and friendly. It was so nice to have breakfast in the courtyard in the mornings. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will recommend this hotel to everyone!

My girlfriend and I stayed here this week and LOVED it! We frequent another 4star well know, near by hotel often for a quick get away. We decided to try and new place for a change and glad we did! The Marizan will definitely continue to get our business often. Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast in the courtyard. We were impressed.

I loved this hotel. It was very clean and well decorated. The complimentary breakfast was great compared to most hotels I've stayed in. Weirdly, my favorite part of this hotel was the flavored fruit water in the courtyard.

Wonderful hospitality. Perfect location. Great room size and amenities. Complimentary full breakfast was delicious. Had a few small issues with our room which were quickly resolved. Bery friendly staff.

Making reservations was super easy. We called to make reservations because we had a few questions but reservations can also be made online. Our trip to New Orleans was for our 19th anniversary and we wanted to stay in the French Quarter. However, the hotel is not too deep into the chaos but still walkable to most everything. Janet, our concierge, was super helpful with information about the area and setting up reservations. Day one we found a nice bottle of wine to greet us. Day two we had chocolate covered strawberries. Janet was always quick to respond and always friendly. Breakfast was free every day and the courtyard was always beautiful. The wait staff was always pleasant and courteous. The only two complaints would be that the mattress wasn't very comfortable and the room keys would have to be reset daily. Overall, the hotel was a good choice. The hotel staff was great, the location was great and it was clean and safe.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Mazarin. The location is perfect for everything in the French Quarter. Although less than one block from Bourbon Street, the noise from the revelers did not bother us at all. The staff was great. Everyone was polite from the bell hop to the breakfast attendants. And the hotel has a great full breakfast.

Great so far. Very friendly staff. We have a room with pvt balcony and it's awesome. Only complaint is they don't have your standard dressers. Decor is nice and comfortable. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful and very friendly place! My husband and I went to "NOLA" for our honeymoon and we stayed at the Hotel Mazarin. I've never experienced such friendly people all in one place. The staff is friendly, personable, and always on top of everything. I miss them already! Our room was lovely. Their cleanliness is exception. The continental breakfast was wonderful! Fresh fruits, fresh breads, fresh everything. They always had fruit infused water available for their guests — very refreshing! Especially after walking so much to see everything we could. We plan on going back when our anniversary rolls around and I look very forward to that!

The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bar was cozy with a good range of cocktails and a great jazz band were playing. We were right in the centre of the French Quarter. The location could not have been better. Can't recommend it enough.

When we got in room there was a musty odor. We didn't say anything about the smell (it was strong mildew and we just figured it was hot, we were in Louisiana and we'd deal. ) This week, we see a $250 charge from the hotel on our credit card. After emailing with the hotel staff we were told it's because our room had a strong smoke smell and needed to be deep cleaned. Only, we don't smoke. Ever. After multiple conversations, they refuse to reverse this charge. Either they charged us extra for for staying in a musty room, someone keyed into our room after we left for the airport, or someone is being dishonest. With so many great hotel options in New Orleans and the French Quarter, I'd strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Located a half a block away from bourbon st. So naturally it is a bit noisy but both hotel bars have great customer service. I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely visit again.

Everyone from the front desk staff, to housekeeping, the kitchen staff and everyone inbetween were extremely nice and very attentive to their guests. We had ice cold bottle water replaced in our room daily and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous! This will be the only hotel we stay at when we visit here in the future.

Great location in the heart of the French Quarter, but just far enough from Bourbon Street to avoid the noise. The room may have been a little small, but we didn't spend much time there and it was nicely decorated and clean. The free breakfast is great and runs until 1100, allowing for a leisurely morning. Staff was friendly and helpful, a great stay.

Wonderful! Great breakfast, staff is great and after they promised us a room upgrade and gave the room away they did resolve by lowering cost of our stay, bottle of wine, and drink coupons. They did fix the situation. Concierge recommended great tours (Bayou and tour of city with Henry). Make sure you try the citys many frozen diaqaris.

Stayed at Hotel Mazarin during middle March, 2015. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful I have stayed at this location four times in the past 15 years. Prior to it being the Hotel Mazarin it was the St. Louis Hotel. I have mixed feelings about the place after my recent visit, so I've posted the positives and negatives below: + Great location in between Bourbon St. And Royal Street. Somewhat at the center of activity, yet surprisingly quiet. + My prior visit (while it was the St. Louis Hotel) lead me to believe the place was in need of a major clean up. Maybe Katrina caused this to happen. The hotel looked beautiful and very well maintained upon my recent visit. + The staff was extremely friendly and cordial. + The bed was very comfortable. I'm not the best sleeper, so a comfortable bed was welcomed. + I've always liked the courtyard. One of the nicest in the French Quarter. I'm pleased to see they don't permit receptions to last long in the courtyard anymore. I found that to be a major deterrent when it was under the St. Louis ownership. — However, I wasn't pleased with the room. We were tucked into the back of the hotel in a separate courtyard. It was nice and quiet, but the room seemed very small and dark. Considering the rates, I thought that was a high price to pay for a disappointing room. No comfortable in-room seating. During prior visits, I've always stayed toward the front of the hotel where the rooms are larger and brighter.

I am looking forward for my stay again this year (Tonight! ). I am an avid fan of this hotel and I cant wait to see the staff! They are soooo wonderful and very accomodating to all your needs (none-sexual of course)! The hotel is so clean and complementary breakfast is to die for! You have everything you need for your NOLA stay! Cant wait! George Pineda.

Firstly, I'd like to start off by saying I have exceptionally high expectations of things. I have a strong background in hotels, so I know what to look out for. The property was very pleasant. I typically lean towards more modern/contemporary styles, but the W was booked out, and in New Orleans, you'll be hard pressed to find that on short notice. Everything was clean and in great condition. The room was spacious and very well stocked with amenities like soap and lotion. The bed was comfortable and the marble flooring was very classy. I also was very impressed with the continental breakfast included. The selection was comprehensive and I found the items to be very delicious. The scones were everything! However, there were a few things I didn't like. The shower didn't get or stay very warm and the design of it was a little wonky. I disliked how the shower had an open design with no door, it made for spillage and I think if I was able to close the shower, it would've felt a little warmer. To the hotel's credit, I did bring it up to the front desk, and the agent offered to have an engineer assess, but we declined. The internet was a little fritzy. It was a little frustrating, but when I mentioned it to the front desk agent, she said she'd have an engineer reset the router. When we returned later that night, the internet was not only working, but the connection was really fast. I was really impressed. There was one thing in particular that irked me a little.

Asked for room to be vacuumed after check in due to big clumps of hair and a banana peel on the floor. No change in the room noted. Then left on a tour and was assured the room would be vacuumed upon my return. Did not happen again. Finally went down to front desk and asked for the vacuum myself. There is a cleanliness deficit here.

We spent our 10th anniversary with the Hotel Mazarin. This was a wonderful hotel! I was looking for a boutique hotel and this hotel met my expectations. They had a personalized note, fancy chocolates and sparkling white wine waiting for us for our anniversary! Nice touch! Everything that is advertised on their website is exactly what you get when you stay there. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The beds were comfty and we slept well. Was not bothered by staff or noise at any time. Staff always went overboard to be helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very yummy and was available till 11am which is later than most hotels. I also liked being so close to Bourbon st and being in the middle of the French Quarter. I would gladly stay with this hotel on our next trip to New Orleans! Thanks for a great stay.

Our room was very large, nicely appointed with a bathroom just as broad.
The hotel is well located in the French quarter. Very good bar and breakfast too. I highly recommend it.
