Love this place! Staff is wonderful and informative. Rooms are gorgeous.

While the hotel was fairly nice, beware of valet parking. Husbands truck came back with the vent visor broken and they tried to super glue it back together. Vent visor was not that big of an issue but the super glue dripping down the visor and on the window was. Followed up with the hotel and was told the parking would be credited. Waited two weeks and called back only to be told the person who was handling the issue is no longer there and they know nothing about it.

Great service, will be back.

Awesome hotel with everything close to you, and a pool! Bonus: the staff is A++ they help me with ideas to go to eat, tours, local spots, etc. And the price wasn’t to bad too! (I’m from nyc).

A good clean and spacious room but most of all the staff.

This past weekend my wife and I got the Bourbon Street balcony room. It was AWESOME! The room had large floor to ceiling windows that look out into Bourbon Street and all of the beautiful architecture of this city. The bed was extremely comfortable and the a/c worked like a champ (I like a cold room). People at the front desk were great! Very friendly staff. It was very convenient having a room where we can walk out of the hotel and Bourbon Street be right there. Only thing I’ll say (which is beyond the control of the hotel) is there were a few times after we went to bed where a guy on his motorcycle on Bourbon was reving up his bike showboating, which woke us up. Bourbon is a party street though so that’s to be expected. Overall very good experience! I’d recommend this place.

Amazing hotel. Atmosphere was welcoming. Stephanie greeted us with kindness and told us they had upgraded our room (wonderful surprise after a very delayed flight and late check in). Our room was large and quiet with a balcony and view of the pool area. Concierge service was on point with tour recommendations (and even booked them for us) and a restaurant reservation that was excellent. Well cared for property that we gladly recommend.

As a Globalist (quite often, we stay at various Hyatt properties), I was shocked at the uncleanliness of our room, windows, and chairs. Soap scum was all over the faucet and handles in the sink. I asked for this to be cleaned our first night and it was. This is the first dirty Hyatt we have ever stayed at. I asked to have all glass cleaned the following day. It wasn’t done even by the next day, despite hotel personnel following up on this. It finally was done and we comp’ed a bottle of wine, retail coat of $6.99. We would never stay there again. Also, I requested a large quiet room on a higher floor. We got the second to the highest floor, the third. It was on the corner of Iberville and Dauphine. The first night the noise of a truck backing up, car horns, and one person yelling, woke me up each time. I finally slept with earplugs and was woken up leaa after that. Our friends had a room with no cleaning issues. Their room was actually quite nicer than ours and we had used the free suite upgrade. They paid $45 higher than the standard rate so they could get a larger room. While ours was much larger, we both complained of no drawers other than one in the nightstand. Where do they think you’re supposed to put your stuff? We were there for five nights and traveling for 10. So, we had a lot of stuff. There were two drawers near the refrigerator inside the cabinet, but we were planning on storing snacks in there.

Nice hotel centrally located near the French quarter and just off canal. Rooms are updated and comfortable but lack any workspace and a bit short on storage. Definitely a tourist hotel with limited food offerings. Okay value for the price.

I live 1 hour from NOLA and I will never stay at any another hotel in the French Quarter. It's perfect location on Bourbon and Iberville. Closer to Canal so you're not in the thick of Bourbon. I truly enjoyed the balcony and not having too much going on outside my balcony. A must stay if the above description is what you are looking for.

I have to say my favorite part of staying at this hotel was the fact that EVERY staff member would smile, say good morning or ask-what may I do for you… Totally impressed with the hospitality and service received from there. Charles, the pool bartender, was a delight and went above and beyond customer service everyday we were there! I will definitely be coming back!

I freaking loved my stay here. Room was amazing. Service was above and beyond. We were celebrating our engagement and they left us a bottle of champagne.

I've stayed at many Hyatt's and this was by far the most disappointing. The rooms were adequate. They did not have the separate sitting area you find in the cheaper Hyatt Place Hotels. There was no breakfast included here and the Valet Parking was highway robbery. $46.00 a day parking fee plus $6.10 parking tax per day for a large SUV to have them valet and keep your car while you stay at their hotel. It's New Orleans and there's really nowhere else to safely park so they have you in a position where you have no choice but to pay whatever they demand to have your car parked and kept for for you. I'd look at other hotels when visiting New Orleans again.

Used this hotel for a birthday party with a group of 22 people. The hotel was great and the staff was very accommodating. Continental breakfast was helpful every morning. Seconds from Bourbon Street and having the Copper Monkey right next door was a great meeting place for our group as we headed out for our daily excursions. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place, rooms are spacious and very clean. All amenities are generous and caring. Good bar, including pool bar, coffee and pastries. Just a short corner walk to Bourbon Street, and is secure location. Excellent place to just hang out in the French Quarter.

After the hotel we originally booked failed to tell us their pool was closed for the entire summer, we went to the Hyatt fairly desperate for a new room. Stephanie could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in that day and got a great rate even though it was so last minute. The room was very spacious and both the pool/gym were clean and surprisingly not crowded. Had a great stay and would book again. Highly highly recommend — thank you!

I went to visit a guest staying at the hotel. The first thing I noticed upon entering the lobby was that it was well-staffed and clean. Off to the side of the lobby is a very nice coffee shop which serves coffee pastries as well as lunches and light dinners. We met the guest in the pool area on the second floor which covers the complete inside Courtyard surrounded by the four sides of the building. The pool area was clean and plenty of seating and had a nice breeze to cool down the day. The room we visited was very large had two queen beds and a nice size sectional couch with which could be used as another bed. Overall a very nice hotel.

Tom was absolutely fabulous. We would of never heard such wonderful music on French men street without his vast knowledge of the area and jazz scene. Also he sent up a magnificent wine and cheese plate. The view from the room was wonderful.

From the minute we walked in to check out we were treated special. Great location. We will come back for sure. The Ruby Slipper is a block away and they have the best food.

Nice staff. Comfortable rooms. Air conditioning worked great! Had a poolside room and wasn't interrupted by swimmers. Definitely recommend.

Loved staying here, pure class in a perfect location. Rooms were well equipped and serviced perfectly. Hyatt, if you read these… That $4 bottle of water in the room is a rip, and you know it, I've stayed in hotels 4 times cheaper that haven't tried to snag me on a bottle of water, c'mon.

Great rooms with great amenities. In the heart of the French Quarter (intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville Street). Don't be surprised by lots of noise and traffic outside the hotel and your room. The Bourbon Street party goes 24/7 and never really lets up. If you're looking for a more peaceful stay, consider a hotel outside of the French Quarter.

It is in a fantastic location. The restaurant attached to it is The Red Fish Grill. We ate there it was amazing! The service was exceptional in the hotel and restaurant. The room was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable.

Service was great, employees were mindful of our privacy as well. First day of service was a little shabby but great afterwards. For the price the hotel isn't amazing, but you can't beat the convenience of the location. It is in the epicenter of all the partying and tourist attractions. Lots of good eats in the area as well!

Actually visited the restaurant so can't speak about the hotel. The food was terrific and tables turn over regularly. There are some tables and a bar so a nice area to wait.

Just a touch nicer than what I expected. The beds are very comfortable, the staff does their job well enough, there is a nice cocktail bar inside on the second floor, and the location is centralized. There just isn't a "wow" factor.

Perfect location. Excellent service. Helise at the concierge desk was fabulous. Everyone was professional, helpful and friendly. Food at Powdered Sugar was delicious. Highly recommend.

I reserved and paid for a king room. They put us in a "parlor room" which had no bed, just a couch that converted into a bed. An awful uncomfortable mattress. Definitely not a 4 star hotel experience. I would have gotten a better bed at motel 6. Gave it 2 stars for location and the hotel is nice. Accommodations would be zero stars.

My stay was pleasant. The bed, bathroom, and carpet were clean and there was no odor of smoke. The building itself is pretty unremarkable. It's kind of an odd space for the hotel. The architecture makes it somewhat functional but it's still not the best building. Their meeting areas are fine but I would not recommend this venue for large gatherings of more 200 people. The catering was decent but definitely nothing extraordinary. If you are hungry, I recommend eating at Red Fish on the first floor. The cafe is alright if you are in a rush but I recommend finding someplace better for breakfast. My stay was fine.

No matter if you are staying here for business, family, or just to party this is the place to be. I want to give a special thanks to the management team, especially Matthew Rogers. He went above and beyond to ensure my family's complete comfort and satisfaction. Great room service, great room. Everyone from the valet, desk clerk, to house keeping were impeccable. Amazing stay.

We stayed from Friday thru Sunday. Balcony room was outstanding. Just close enough to the action. But far away enough to have a noiseless sleep! Staff were incredible! Highly recommend!

Good hotel, great location. Nice staff. Asked for a king sized room and got it. Bed was the smallest king size I ever saw. No hot water just luke warm. Outside of that nice hotel.

I got a room facing street, very loud and noisy. Worse, AC was not working. It was very cold in this week in New Orleans, and the room was only 64F although the heater was set to 75F. Had to stop by front desk, I was promised to change to a different room. But they told me there was no clean room right now, and I need to wait for another hour. It turns out "about 1 hour" was actually 3 hours! And I have to stop by the front desk again to urge them give me a new room. Anyway, the stay was not pleasant at all. The girl at front desk assisted me first had such a bad attitude, very unprofessional. Will never ever stay at this hotel again.

Good hotel on the edge of the French Quarter. Good size rooms with very pleasant seating areas. Front desk reception good. Concierge supposedly available 8am-8pm, but on 5 occasions over a 3 night stay, concierge never at the desk. Good location makes access to French Quarter, Warehouse District and transportation to Garden District easy.

Helpful staff and an excellent location. However, the room key did not work for the first half of our stay. The staff was very helpful and attempted to fix it multiple times but were not successful until several hours after we arrived, which meant we needed to call security every time we wanted to enter the room.

It feels like a maze going to your room and the signage could use some help, but it's a nice clean and quiet place considering it's at Bourbon… I wish there was a microwave to use esp since they have a fridge in the room. I love the magnolia scented lobby!

Rooms are very nice. Staff is courteous. Maid is extremely sweet. Main complaint is that the hotel will try to nickel and dime you for everything. Kids channels on the are extra. Breakfast buffet (it's ok) is 16$ a head. Water if opened in room is 4 dollars. All a bit much. Location is excellent. Heart of the French quarter.

Modern, cosy and very good location.

I loved this hotel! Its right on Bourbon and one block from Central and the trolleys. The rooms are immaculate and the service was impeccable! The restaurant/bar is a nice little get away from the frills of Bourbon street and the small cafe is very convenient. There is a Walgreens right around the corner that is open 24hours and sells liquor too.

Excellent location, there are convenience stores nearby and the streetcar for the front. Good cafeteria and bar. You should ask for a room that is not with Bourbon Street. It's 800m from Jackson Square.

This was my second time in New Orleans and my first stay at the Hyatt Centric. This hotel is in a fantastic location and I can't complement the staff enough. Everyone from the bartender's to the front desk to the girls in the coffee shop, were extremely polite and helpful. I bought my friend a painting and one of the guys from the front desk offered to ship it on his own time because it would not fit in the suitcase. Regrettably I didn't catch his name, but it was a young black guy about 22. I'll be back in New Orleans in February and will definitely stay there again. Many thanks.

The Hotel was very nice. Very centrally located with easy access to Bourbon & Canal street.
The entire staff was on point … friendly and courteous. Very polite at every encounter.
I would recommend the Hyatt Centric in a beat.

We have a Petite Suite and we're totally impressed. We love it. We're one block away from Acme Oyster House and right inside the French Quarter. I don't think we've enjoyed New Orleans more. Great vacation decision.

The bell hops outside are as lazy as possible. The cost to park your car is unnecessary. We parked at a garage a black away for 20 instead of 50. We got an upgrade into a room that was above their restaurant and the smell gets in the vents. We had to downgrade to a nonsmelly room. Both hotel guides have us incorrect information. Once about the ferry times and once about a restaurant. The room doors aren't very sound proof. We got to party with the neighbors when they got back at 4am and didn't want to end the party yet. The front desk people are friendly.

Stayed here Aug 6 to Aug 11/2017 from arrival to departure it was a joy to stay here. Customer service outstanding, from front desk, bell guys, to the service in the small cafe in lobby of hotel. Room was excellent, clean, and the bed was sooo! comfy the bell guy even told me about the amenities in my room (nice touch). Being a solo traveler I felt safe at all times, hotel is walking distance to mostly all attractions, and tour places. Thank you for sharing the true heart of NOLA.

This hotel was nothing less than fabulous. My husband and I was there for 7 days and just got back home on August 5 and the stay was awesome. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that ask. The staff was courteous and polite. Not to mention how friendly the young lady in the little cafe "Powdered Sugar" was. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we had a private balcony that overlooked Bourbon Street. The hotel was located conveniently to everything. The concierge service was nothing but great. Our experience at this hotel will forever be rated A1. Superbness from beginning to end. If there is one suggestion I would make and that would be their television service, not many channels at all but that was a minor detail. Awesome hotel and wonderful staff and service the entire trip. Would definitely stay again.

The people that work here are great. Especially the ladies in the cafe! So nice! Room was great. Did not provide the "wine upon check-in" I was supposed to receive and the front desk did not take responsibility for it. Pool was wayyyyyy too chlorinated. I think they must have just shocked it and were allowing people to swim anyway. A fire broke out in a room wall but they had it out fairly quickly.

Our first night was not the best. The A/C was broken. The next morning we let the front desk know about the matter. The maintenance crew was unable to fix the unit. The manger upgraded our room to a double queen suite. The suite was awesome with a great pool view. I wish the bar at the pool was open during the week (only open Thursday — Sunday) when it is summer time. Also, the restrooms in the lobby are locked I guess after 11pm, which is not cool. You have to go all the way to your room, which could be a long walk after a night of drinking.

The location is great. In the middle of the French Quarter and walking distance to all bars and restaurants. Hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Front desk was either tired or not in a good mood. As a guest didn't feel welcomed. The shower doesn't have hot water. Front desk said they are going to take care of it, which they didn't or it wasn't fixable. Took three days of cold showers. Swimming pool is small and needs renovation.

I had a great stay here. The service was really good. The pool was refreshing. My only criticism is that they don't offer shuttle service to and from the airport and the pool closes a little too early. Other than that it's a wonderful place.

The location is perfect. Bourbon Street is at one side. The rooms are interesting shapes and not cookie cutter rooms. The food here is excellent. I have eaten crabcakes, shrimp, red beans and rice, kale, bacon, eggs, and pecan pie (to die for) and all good. The staff is helpful and polite. I will stay here again.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is top notch and super clean. There are 2 courtyards with one that has a pool. The rooms are big and the beds are comfy. From the hotel you have access to many great streets. And even though it's right in the French Quarter, it's super quiet! Slept like a baby. The only complaint was that every night we were missing something different from the bathroom. Either it was soap or shampoo, or towels. That's the only reason I took off a star. I was there for a summit that was set up by my employer. The hotel provided catering service which had amazing food. The rooms were big and clean and well prepared with lots of tables and chairs. I highly recommend this place for conventions.

Hotel location is fantastic and never a long wait for the elevator. However, there was heat being blown in through the vents in the hallways. My room was very oddly arranged. Can't watch the TV from the small sofa, its facing the wrong way. The water and ice bucket stand was hidden behind the curtain. The curtains didn't shut all the way so that the courtyard lights shined into the room onto the bed while trying to sleep. All of the toiletries in my room had already been opened and used. I ordered $17 lox and bagel "to go" from the on site cafe. All of the toppings were just sloppily tossed onto a covered plate and the bagel was not toasted (as was supposed to be)

Location is prime! One block from Bourbon Street but without all the noise. Very classy, good size rooms, nice amenities and great staff!

Great hotel in a perfect spot. Room was spacious and reasonably priced. Food options were good too, in case you weren't feeling adventurous enough to head outside.

Decent place. Definitely takes is decore feomthe Centric line of Hyatt hotels. But not allowing snacks you purchased at the hotel diner into the pool area, well that is plain stupid. Likely won't stay again.

In the midst of the french quarter is the hyatt, I'm a local but this was my first time in the hotel. I was attending an event with my friend CHLO! it was a pirate themed fundraiser so there was plenty fun to be had. Everything was nice. Small. The narrow hallways combined with the tables and food stations and amount of people there made everything seem tight. It was clean and well decorated although I didn't get a room it seems like a perfectly suitable hotel.

R really nice stuff. Nice room in the courtyard. Great location. There was a good deal to use points on a Saturday night because the prices were so expensive everywhere.

Rooms are great. Extraordinarily clean. Service is courteous but flawed. Staff need better training. Location is excellent, on Canal and close to Bourbon.

Our room was relatively nice but the floors are unbelievably buckled and noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be aware that the only parking is valet and costs $42 per night. There is other parking nearby but I'm not sure what it costs.

Close enough for walking distance to many great attractions. Staff are great. Rooms are nice, but the bathroom could use renovationrenovation. No fan, clogging sink and tiles in shower are dirty.

The hotel is clean and modern. The bar is excellent and has amazing craft cocktails and drinks. The cafe had great breakfast options and they serve intelligentsia coffee, which was a highlight for us each morning.

The location is great, the room is a great deal for the price we paid. No complaints but u definitely would look somewhere local to park. Parking at the hotel is quite expensive.

The location is optimal if you care about going to Bourbon Street. The room was nice and large. Room service and front desk people were great. The people working the restaurant were noce and helpful. My issue comes from the catered food from The Batch. The service did not match the rest of the hotel. They didn't have much love for the vegan diet. Also, the dishes were dirt everyday.

Stayed here for one evening during Mardi Gras. Loved the friendly staff and how close we were to all the action. The room was gorgeous and so comfortable. We even had a balcony view. Having the extra security during this time of the year was comforting as well. Hope to come back soon!

Clean hotel and friendly service. Great location between canal and Bourbon st. Rooms appear to be newly remodeled and they offer a few with balcony's overlooking Bourbon street. We hosted a conference here and the food was great, especially the cheese plate. A/V guy could have been a little more friendly and accommodating;perhaps he was just having an off day. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Newly renovated hotel. At an odd intersection where you don't immediately get a feel for the city but Bourbon Street is one block away. The room is simple and modern with a vaulted ceiling and giant windows. Not much of a view but tons of natural light. Room includes a fridge. Hotel restaurant seems appropriately expensive given the area and there is a cute hotel cafe. Staff is pleasant.

Rooms, service and location were all perfect. Definitely staying here next time we visit this amazing city.

They should really weed out the reviews from years ago because since the renovation this hotel is amazing! I stayed here w/ my family over the Labor Day weekend. Great location and wonderful customer service! Definitely worth the money! The only con is having to share a balcony with your neighbor. The courtyard view is very lovely but having to listen to your drunk neighbors' conversation at 2am is NOT okay.

Conveniently located at the beginning of Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. Close to the action but far enough to take a break from it when needed. Wonderful, pleasant and attentive staff throughout the hotel and breakfast area. Rooms are clean and well appointed with modern conveniences like video hookuos to the TV and iPod docking stations. If you are concerned about the street noise, request a room away from Bourbon St. Otherwise, suites with balconies are perfect for enjoying the action on Bourbon St from your room.

Offer free Wi-Fi so I can show my friends and family how beautiful your state is on social media! My wife and I took some amazing photos with our DSLR of all the great food, people, and scenery! In this day and age people like instant gratification, if I experience something I want to share that experience with my friends and family. Unfortunately I was unable to do so until I got back to Seattle. Great location, amazing staff, clean quiet rooms.

Just spent a four day and single night stay at the Hyatt French Quarter either side of a cruise from New Orleans. The hotel is modern, clean and extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very spacious and have everything you could want in them and also a list of insidentals you may want that they can supply for you. A special mention to Vincent who when he brought our luggage up and realised we had been traveling eighteen hours said this room is going to be noisy at 7.30am with a conference that was on and got us changed to a beautiful room overlooking the swimming pool courtyard which was very quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. The position of the hotel is perfect for all French Quarter attractions. If lucky enough to go back to New Orleans I will stay at this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here for a conference. As I arrived via airport shuttle, one of the managers rushed to help with my bags and was very welcoming. Apart from the manager, the reception staff was also genuinely receptive. The only minimal negative aspect of my stay would be the insufficient attention to the meeting rooms necessities (water, lack of trash cans), I truly truly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt French Quarter. The room was stylish, clean and very comfortable. The meeting spaces were very accommodating. I am missing staying in the center of the French Quarter. Thank you Hyatt French Quarter for a great experience.

Nice hotel. Clean. Modern looking. Good service. The bar downstairs can make non alcoholic drinks. The small store downstairs has good food and drink items. The location is convenient. We had a problem one night with a loud car blasting music while driving around the neighborhood over and over again so could not sleep that one night.

Local is ideal, hotel is overall nice. However I ordered a $20 salad from room service only to get it and it have a LARGE bug in it. They were kind enough to remove the salad and bug from my room and let me know that they would be comping 1 night of my stay. That never happened. Even after I called and they claimed it would be taken care of — — nothing. I denied the free food you were trying to offer me — — no thank you. I didn't ask for a free night stay but don't promise it to customers if you aren't going to follow through.

Good staff and location. Balconies over bourbon street are shared. Rooms are decent, clean. So far, I like it, and enjoy it.
