From the staff, location to our Raphael Suite…it was the perfect hotel for a 21st Halloween bday!

Day 1 check in hotel Cairo front desk was amazing. He greeted us with a small even made small jokes to make us laugh. Little did we know once we arrived to our room it was a dirty room. Bathroom clearly wasn’t clean despite the rust inside toilet is understandable but a dirty bathroom is not. So we decided to go out. Told the new front desk agent about the problems she suggested we switch rooms which was great when we got to the new room is was full of Cigarette smoke so that was a no go. We was tired and decided to keep our room. After being out at night full of drinks we came back to the hotel room first thing we thought of was to put the safety latch on to ensure of safety from the pictures you can see it’s missing. Once again we complain the next morning. We went to breakfast they fix the latch. We returned to our room after breakfast changed clothes and realize we was stuck in the room. The door was jammed lock wouldn’t release. Someone on the other side had to push while we pull to get us out the room. So now of course we had to change rooms we went to a room on a lower floor. Not the room I paid for. I ask hotel how am I being compensated for my un pleasant experience after experience. Janel front end manager stated on you will be receiving 5000 points. I told her I am not satisfied I didn’t experience one incident nor pay for a lower class room. 353 dollars for 2 nights in a hotel where I am a loyal member Titanium level. This is unacceptable. I will never stay there.

Great place when you want to “stay in” the saint has a great bar to have a drink and listen to live music and then go upstairs to relax.

Great location, fantastic staff, good food. The general manager Darryl has an amazing team. Lea the restaurant manageress and her staff were lovely. The valet’s were very helpful. The check in staff were all very helpful.

Very nice from the moment you are greeted @ the door! The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered @ a hotel! Everyone always spoke, no matter how many times you walked by them! I don’t believe I opened the door for myself one time during my 4 day stay! Beautiful and very clean rooms!

Very nice furnishings; modern and sexy. Service was superb! They were friendly and easy to check in and out. I would only deduct points for noise — we could easily hear our neighbors, people in the hallway, and noise from the street (which in this location off Canal street is a lot and all night long). The location, however, is really great — we were walking distance to all the things we wanted to do and right across the street from the streetcar lines so get to farther locations. Solid choice for the area.

Clean room. Excellent water pressure. Firm bed with lots of pillows. Great location for everything you could want to do in New Orleans. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Checked us in early with no hesitation. On site restaurant seemed utterly skippable (so we did). Okay designs in the room (bordering on plain) except for the bathroom which was very nicely done. There wasn't a lot. Of space. For example, you have to move the desk chair to access one side of the bed. Typical city hotel room. Great lobby, nice cocktails at the bar. Decent soundproofing in room.

The atmosphere is a treat and the staff was very attentive. One of the best over all experiences in we had in our travels. If you get a chance the food was amazing the bartender was very knowledgeable so we will definitely be back. A big thank you to the staff!

Ken out front is the man and has the best food recommendations. Bed was comfy and room is clean. Only real problem was the shower took a while to get hot… Everything else was great! Walk around the lobby it is a great place to just hangout.

The hotel staff was awesome. Very friendly and super helpful. Room was good. Bed was super comfy. Only critique is the refrigerator had no space to keep my drinks cold because it was full of hotel drinks for purchase. Which would have been great if I didn't already have my own.

Location, location, location! Blocks away from the fun, but far enough so you can get a peaceful sleep. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special. This and only this hotel will be our choice whenever we return to the beautiful NOLA!

This hotel was great! Located close to everything you need to enjoy The Big Easy. Concierge staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. Kenny was especially great and hands on, always present and ready to offer assistance. Loved the playfull decor. I would definitely return to this hotel again. Only issue was Housekeeping — they need an upgrade, either more staff or better trained staff. My room was not cleaned after the first night and after the second night only the towels were replaced and trash emptied. None of the toiletries were replaced, bed made, etc.

The decor is really cool, and the bar is awesome, but our room had some issues. For one, the shower barely drained, so by the time you're done you're in a pool of water. And the room didn't have a coffee maker. Not to mention there was a fun issue where our room keys stopped working… All in all it's fine, but could certainly be improved.

Some staff could use some customer service training. In particular, front desk staff working late shift: be nice to guests checking in late, try to smile and be welcoming. Room needed some maintenance help. Shower tiles fell off suddenly, maintenance guys came and retiled the bathroom but didn't put shower door hinge back on. Room smelled musty and moldy. Great location though, close enough to the Quarter without being smack inside the rowdiness. Lobby music too loud and obnoxious.

Stylish hotel convenient to much of the city. Rooms and entire facility are boldly decorated in a naughty / nice theme which may not appeal to all. Rooms are comfortable and Wi-Fi decently fast. Staff was top notch at the front desk and housekeeping. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff is amazing! The only thing that would make this better is to have a mini fridge in the room. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you could possibly want or need. The best hotel!

If I could rate this hotel a 6 for "Special K" alone, I would. He serves as a concierge and is kind of like the Mayor. He can change a mood in a second and engages with EVERY guest — even the grouchy ones. That man is amazing and is possibly the most natural fit for a career in hospitality that I've ever met. He took care of all of our needs and ensured that we had an AMAZING time. The hotel is trendy and unique — with super fun chairs that serve as fun photo opportunities and conversation pieces. The bar is good but somewhat overpriced and small. The restaurant is has delicious food, but SUPER slow service. They never put in my order, and didn't even pretend to care when it was pointed out. Our friends had a similarly disappointing breakfast on the first day. Housekeeping could have been better — perhaps the hotel should upgrade the throw pillows, which did have some stains on them. All in all, it was a fun hotel at a great price. Special K is in a league of his own and I would go to the Saint again to interact with someone who works that hard to ensure your stay is great.

Relatively reasonably priced. Great location. Right next to the french quarter. We were able to park across the street in public parking for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was not included but there are plenty of great places within a few blocks to get breakfast.

Just got home from NOLA, must rave about this hotel! It's not huge, it's not tiny, it's a just right boutique place. NOLA has some massive hotels, and I can only imagine I would have felt lost and unimportant there. This place also has a great location right on Canal Street. It's the edge of the French Quarter, literally. So you are close to the night life, but not so close that it keeps you awake at night — which is huge for us. Canal Street is also a great place to hop on a street car to anywhere. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our Concierge, Kintrell (sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong my friend) called us at home before our arrival and helped us make plans for our stay. He also booked us a great restaurant our first night, Mr. B's Bistro. Thanks for taking such great care of us! We only ate once at the hotel (no reflection on the hotel, because it is New Orleans folks, so many restaurants to try so little time) and the food was good, but our drinks were amazing! Order the Lush cocktail, it was heavenly. And speaking of heaven, I loved the decor and the hip vibe at this hotel. "Sleep Saintly" "Play Naughty" four little words that sum up NOLA. Oh, and cheers to Manager Darryl who spent time with us talking up Scotch brands, can't wait to try his suggestions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice romantic stay. It would probably work for kids too — I did see guests with kids — but we left ours at home this time.

Amazing Hotel, a very unique and luxurious experience. There was a water shortage due to burst pipes in New Orleans when we were just there, so low water pressure and un-potable water were challenges they faced and handled well. Also I'd suggest adding a full length mirror in addition to the bathroom mirror in the rooms, but with that said, the service was OFF THE CHARTS! The front desk crew, the whole staff of this place are the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered. It was clear these great people enjoy their jobs. Every time we walked back through the doors into the gorgeous lobby and were greeted by those sunshiny personalities, the joy was contagious. "I'll have what they're having, " I remember thinking. Because of the staff, this hotel deserves a 5 star rating, in my book. A special thanks to the lovely Bree at the front desk, and also Special K and Big Bob. The rooms are beautiful, extremely comfortable and quiet, and spotlessly clean as of the weekend of 1/19-1/21/2018. If given the chance, I'll go back in a heartbeat!

Spent a night here for a client engagement, first time to New Orleans. Staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful, decor was eclectic, interesting and stylish. Room was wonderful, updated, comfortable. Client paid but I'm told the rate was very competitive for the location (900 block of Canal Street, very close to everything. ) Really enjoyed the stay. Will be back!

The Saint Hotel had a wonderful location on Canal Street. It was only a few blocks away from bourbon street and put you right at the street car if you wanted to travel to a further location. The interior was beautiful and surprisingly spacious. The bar included various themed drinks that had interesting flavors. The single bedrooms were very nice as well. They included a mini bar and several snacks. The staff was pleasant to talk to and had a very light hearted air about them. All-in-all, it is a location I would suggest to anyone who wants the convenience of travel and entertainment with quality hotel booking.

The hotel was nice, but other than an edgy theme I didn't really see what made it so special to be part of an "autograph collection. " The food from the restaurant was no different from what I'd expect at something like a Courtyard. I appreciated that the room had a mini bar, but mine wasn't plugged in so all of the drinks were warm. The ice machine on my floor wasn't working either, so I couldn't get ice to compensate if I wanted to. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, but also nothing that would make me want to stay there again.

The hotel staff were friendly although there were a few times they could have been more attentive (waiting over an hour for 2 glasses to be brought to the room, only to end up cancelling the order after getting tired of waiting). My party did stay 2 nights over a very busy weekend so the waits and forgetfulness is somewhat acceptable and pretty minor. In addition, the standard rooms were on the smaller side but very clean. Overall, I would stay at The Saint again although hopefully for less than the almost $500/night that we paid.

Had a great breakfast here. We were only in the city for a week, so we sat here for 2 hours planning our agenda for the week (making reservations via my phone). Waitress was very friendly.

Quite the interesting place! Live music most nights. The hotel has a quite interesting theme of angels and other things. Would recommend for couples.

Beautiful lobby and bar, perfect location. Not on Bourbon street so you don't get all the noise, but one block away so very easy access. For a "luxury" hotel the room was fairly basic, and none of the usual accommodations one would expect at this price point. Right next to the Ritz, may opt to stay there instead next time for the same price.

A nice hotel upon entry, morning staff greeted and very professional. My problem with this hotel was that the heat wasn’t working in the room. I contacted the front desk and they sent maintenance up to try to fix the heat, wasn’t able to fix it. At that point I ask can I get another room but they said that can’t because they’re booked up for the night but they said that they will give me some blankets for the night. So I didn’t stay a the hotel because I wasn’t happy with my service. I wasn’t refunded my money for not staying at the hotel and was told to speak with the hotel manager the next morning when she get in. To make along story short, she basically said nothing and didn’t offer any accommodations. At that point I just accepted the lost. To make things worse than what has already happened… they charge my card $250 with out contacting me for smoking in the room. The problem with that is don’t smoke. When I spoke with the manager… she told me that it was marijuana spoke… the problem with that is I don’t smoke or do Drugs. Yes, I was able to get that charge refunded back. I never felt more disrespected ever in my life. Yes, this is all true.

Wonderful customer service! I am cur staying here and along comes hurricane Nate. My son is a fisherman in the town of Venice, LA and was on mandatory evacuation. The Saint management arranged for us to switch rooms to accommodate another guest. Not only do I recommend this hotel but I will stay here and at Marriott based hotels from now on. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Nice hotel in a good location. Pleasant staff as well. Just be aware it has a unique vibe — might not be great for a family. Example — rummer on the foot of my bed says "play naughty". They're going for a "naughty" vibe.

We have been here before to watch the Bursleque Show which is awesome. First time staying here and it's a great value just 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. Easy self park across the side street for $20 which is a steal. Hotel has a cool non traditional vibe.

We loved The Saint Hotel. It's right there by Duval Street close to all the main attractions-walking distance. It's a beautiful little gen of a hotel and we'd probably go back. We stayed 3 nights. The first night was in the shoebox of a double room. It's just not made for 2 adults! Clean and adorable but way too small. It also had a funky chemical odor — — maybe a wood cleaner? The second night we asked to be upgraded as we were promised when we called earlier in the week. The second room — amazing! Beautiful with 2 queen beds, large and accommodating. Beautiful decor like the rest of the hotel. The only issue was the slight musty odor. To their credit the hotel has a dehumidifier-but it'll beep in the middle of the night to be emptied. Slo got problem but the room makes up for it. Maybe it should have tile instead of carpet?

Very energetic and inviting. Staff very pleasant, and knowledgeable. It was also in a very convenient location. However, there is no pool on-site and no transportation to the closest pool and we were not notified of the $100 a day fee up front for incidentals. I would definitely stay here again!

Service here was fantastic. Rooms were beautiful and stylish. Staff helped us everyday with dinner recommendations. Bob was so helpful and sweet! Location is close to Bourbon st but not so close that you can hear it, (Quiet sleeping). If I'm ever in new orleans, I'll be staying there again.

This is my go-to hotel any time I stay in New Orleans. It's well appointed, perfectly located on Canal and I can't say enough about the staff. They go out of their way to make you feel right at home. The burgundy bar has had free burlesque shows and the pool table in the lobby is a nice touch. I recommend it to all my friends and family. Best hotel in NOLA!

The Saint Hotel contains elegance and charm throughout, is well maintained and clean, offers very comfortable rooms, and serves the best breakfast buffet I've ever experienced at a Marriott property. The only knock I give is to a very inattentive bar staff, which places socializing with staff, free pours for friends, and looking at phones above waiting on guests (two nights in a row). Other than that, it's a great hotel.

Location is pretty great, couple of blocks away from bourbon and the rest of french quarter. Service kind of gives it 3 stars. The second I walked in I was net with some attitude from the valet and then the front desk and then again the morning after. Room: bathroom doors didn't close all the way, shower drain was wrongly place so the water would spill out on the floor… the whole thing was just bleh.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very nice. Decor is classy and sexy. Great place to meet for drinks as well.

This hotel was fabulous! The location was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Dwan, at the check in desk, was so wonderful. We asked her a ton of questions and she answered them all! Also, the bell hop gentleman were so kind. They also gave us great ideas and information for or stay. Swane guided me for quick car valley in the am. I would highly recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness and staff!

I booked this hotel 4 months earlier to celebrate my husband's birthday. We reached the hotel at 3:45 PM and were told that our room is not available for another 30 min. So, we went for a walk down bourbon st. The hotel has a great location close to Bourbon st and Decatur st. Bus carts are right across the street. It is a funky hotel, the room had a conformable bed and clean bathroom/ shower. However, I couldn't rate it higher because of closet broken door, no robe, TV screen not working. The hotel Rooms are in desperate need of upkeep and maintenance.

The reception and hallways had the feel of a very expensive night club. The room was immaculate. Nice quiet AC (not a window unit! ). A frustration was the water sale case in the place of what should have been a fridge. TV didn't have reception for half our stay and internet was very flaky. Shame.

My husband and I travel a lot and always stay in 4 to 5 star hotels. This hotel was one of the nicest and BEST location for a New Orleans vacation! The staff, well let me just say, I have never ever experienced a friendlier, kinder, more informative staff in the 50 years we've been traveling! I wish I could remember all of their names, but the one that comes to mind is Brandon, the door man. Wonderful guy and many ideas for places to visit or drink/eat. Thanks Brandon! Desk staff, unbelievable! Best ever! We will definitely be back! Only one suggestion, with everyone there being so kind, friendly and helpful, where in the heck did you get the grumpy, snobby, unpleasant female bartender? She does NOT belong there! Find someone who will reflect the friendliness of the rest of your staff.

Outstanding experience. We were a little concerned from some previous reviews but we loved this place and will stay there again in a heartbeat. Great location, the room was nice and very clean, and all of the staff were absolutely outstanding. We were always greeted enthusiastically and with smiles by everyone. The best help came from the concierges, who helped not only provide info and suggestions about the area and things to do, but even helped book some excursions on our behalf. They have a turn-down service at night complete with chocolates on the bed. When it was time to check out they had a car service ready for the ride to the airport (same price as a cab). These folks went way beyond our expectations in every regard. Can't recommend it enough.

The hotel is nice inside and the rooms aren't bad but the check in and check out process is sub par. Not much room for valet and the staff needs some additional training. Computer systems/ billing is definitely not the staffs strong suit either. Actually I'm not sure they have any strong suits. Just stay somewhere else and save yourself a head ache.

Stayed there 8/17 and room was dirty, dust balls in corner, grease or oil residue on chair, mold in corners of showers, and best of all condom wrapper left on side of bed on floor. Not to mention the walls are paper thin and can easily hear neighbor in adjoining room. Pool is not really even like a pool, more like a bathtub outside and barely useable unless you enjoy staring at cement walls that enclose it. Check in staff seemed preoccupied and rushed, even though hotel was not busy at all. Only thing that was nice about the hotel was the main lobby. Do not recommend staying here, there are just too many other nice hotels in area that do a much better job, almost seems like a cheap hotel that is trying to play itself off as being swanky and upscale… but falls short in many ways.

Stayed here with my sisters for a birthday celebration weekend last year. Greeted warmly and staff was most helpful. I totally loved the exposed brick in the room, the theme and uniqueness of this property — the hallway with black light! Definitely a grown and sexy property and close to Bourbon Street and trolley. Highly recommend this property.

Good location. Clean. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Funky decor. Great staff from front desk to maintenance (our remote needed batteries). I can't imagine anybody having a bad time here. IT will be my go-to spot when in NOLA in the future.

In early April 2015, I had a two day reservation at the Saint Hotel. I had booked it 60 days in advance and had Gold status with Marriott. I thought this was going to be nothing other than a pleasant stay at a nicer Marriott. I was in for a bad surprise. 1) The Saint decided to give my room up. My flight from Seattle didn't arrive until 11:30 PM. By the time I arrived, the Saint had given my room to another walk up customer and was in the process for charging me for being a no-show. 2) They put me in an overflow hotel at a hotel off of the strip that was not comparable 3) The manager was horrible. She argued with me and told me I should be happy to get a free night. She would be "happy" to help move my stuff back to the Saint after my night at the unknown overflow hotel Terrible, terrible customer service. This hotel is about maximizing profit and not treating customers right. They will give up your reservation in a heartbeat. It means nothing to them. They really aren't part of the Marriott family and do not care if you have status. Be warned! I ended up checking out of this hotel and moving to the JW Marriott down the street. Marriott should remove their name from this hotel and protect their brand.

Sexy hotel, almost worth the price. We stayed here as a bachelorette group and booked one of the junior suites. The room itself was beautiful and included wonderful amenities like a large fridge, Voss water, a Keurig coffee maker and large toiletry items, however there is absolutely NO privacy. Both bathrooms in the suite have glass walls (covered by a very sheer curtain) and the door to the shower area was also glass. The hotel staff was very nice and unfortunately we also noticed that no one was ever eating in the restaurant. If you're looking for a Vegas feel with boutique attention to detail, this place is great. For the cost and location however, we could've stayed at the Ritz.

YOUR ROOM WILL BE ROBBED! I am a Platinum member of Marriott. Employees robbed my room and management covered it up. Seems this happens quite a bit, after I talked to the front desk, and a guy said it does happen there. Well it happened to me. I contacted the management and as expected nothing was done. They don't even have security there. I was told they would look at the key lock and tell if there was an unauthorized entry. Imagine the box was not working that day; at least that’s what the manager told me. I then talked to the General Manager (Daryl Hill) and he has given me the run around in hopes that I would give up on getting reimbursed on the items taken from my room. He tried to play the race card asking me who the black individual was I was talking to in the lobby. I told him, you mean my co-worker who is staying at the Renaissance hotel across the street? How dare he. My stay there was awful. Dark and dingy hotel. Staff is not Marriott trained by far. I asked the General Manager why I did not get my Marriott points and I have not got an answer or the points I earned for a miserable stay. I contacted Marriott and they said this hotel is not a true Marriott product. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The location was right around the touristy area, and the room was quiet. But this hotel doesn't warrant a premium. There were non-washable cushions on the bed, and allergies to dust mites flared up in our stay. Otherwise the room was just fine. The restaurant was always empty and we did not try it. The hotel is a bit quirky which could had been a plus, but black and white movies playing in the elevator didn't do much for us.

Loved our stay and staff was really nice, especially Liz. She was real helpful and we will stay there again.

This is a fun hotel located just off of Bourbon, still close enough to walk to, but far enough to escape to when needed. The staff there are amazing and super attentive. If you like a good bar scene, the bar there is perfect for you! Everything is very modern and super clean.

This being my first stay at an Autograph Collection hotel, both my companion and I were very excited. Upon checking into our room, everything appeared to be clear and orderly. My companion, however, soon discovered the the toilet was not in working order. I walked downstairs and informed the desk of the situation. He apologized and told me he could "move us to a much nicer room" which turned out to be one that was slightly smaller, with a view of the McDonalds across the street. The room size and view were not of concern to me. What was frustrating was the room we moved into had the worst earthy/moldly/mildew smell I've ever encountered. We were already in a hurry to make our dinner reservation that night, so we opted to turn on the HVAC and see if the smell cleared out. It did not. The following morning I inquired at the front desk of the smell. They told me that "Some rooms smell different than others due to the age of the building" Uhh. Thanks. Despite allergy flare ups, likely due to the mold in the air, the remainder of our stay was uneventful until we departed. Upon departure, we noticed a charge for $106 on our final night. Unjustified, because we had elected to pay for our final night with points. The front desk clerks didn't understand what the charge was, and did not seemed to be concerned. After a 15 minute conversation, one of the other desk clerks opted to just take the final night off, so that I would not be charged the $106.

A truly enjoyable experience. That staff was spectacular, friendly, warm and inviting. The bar is wonderful and the Burlesque show was what I think of New Orleans. Our conference was made infinitely more enjoyable thanks to the staff at The Saint. Kudos to Darryl and his staff, Nathan, Natalie and Johnny who always had a smile. I don't remember everyone's names, but there was never a single person that didn't smile no matter what was going on. Thanks again.

THIS HOTEL IS AMAZING! From the moment I walked into the hotel I was very impressed. If you want something classy, fancy and affordable this is the place to stay. When I checked in I had a minor issue but the attendant (Mandy) was very patient with me and helped me out. The valet attendants were very helpful and friendly as well. They quickly recognize my southern Texas accent and cracked a few jokes. I felt very welcomed. Not only that but the rooms were very clean and spacious. Next time I visit New Orleans, I will definitely stay here.

1) Very friendly and helpful staff. 2) The lobby and bar area has a French architecture influenced NIN/Evanescence video feel. House music played in the evenings sets a nice counter-tone to any pending trips to the French Quarter. And waking up to the Rat Pack is always nice. 3) Was not prepared to be dropped off in the ally next to the hotel by the cab service from the airport, but a staff member (Johnny) was quick to greet me and take my bags. (Remember to tip people who help you. ) 4) Rooms are nice, and interesting, but beds are a little harder than some hotels. 5) Noise level at night can be a problem if your a light sleeper. This is due to the city noise, not anything going on within the hotel. 6) Can't beat walking distance, and easy access, to any part of the city.

The hotel itself is nice. The hallways are lit with blue lights and it was a retro feel. They play black and white movies in the elevator and it has a pretty cool vibe. Parking is $38 per night. The first few minutes of the two night stay were very nice. The clerk at the front desk called me to ask how everything was once we were all settled in which was nice. However, they knew that we had four people and provided us with two coffee cups and no other cups, although there were four coasters in the room. I called the front desk and asked, "for one more coffee cup and a few cups of water. " After waiting 30 minutes we went to the front desk to ask about what was taking so long. They said that the call had been placed and they would be up shortly. After an additional 15 minutes someone arrived with one coffee cup and one water cup. Obvious "a few water cups" means one to them. Also, when we checked out of the hotel the valet handed me back my keys. My keyless entry remote had been taken off the key chain and was in two pieces. He told me he tried to fix it but that he was unable to. I went inside and talked to the valet manager who was very nice. He apologized and was able to fix the electronic key and put it back on the key chain, but I still didn't appreciate being handed my keys in three seperate parts after paying an arm and a leg for parking.
