The room we stayed in had no updates. I didn't see any part of the hotel that was updated. The rooms were very old and the bathroom was so small you couldn't even put your towel around you to dry off. The two beds were double beds and again the room was so small that when you open the door if you weren't watching where you were going you would run into the bed. Apparently the covering for the beds had been made for a queen bed because the bed skirt was all tucked under the mattress and hanging down on the floor. We was very disappointed and will not stay there again. However, the breakfast was decent.

Piss Poor Service/ Horrible Stay After being on the road for about 530 miles I had decided to stop for the night. The Standard rooms where old and outdated. They where clean, but felt dirty and rundown. The bed was hard as a rock compared to the super 8 I stayed in the night prior. Bathrooms felt small and outdated as well. After leaving the room in the morning I was approached by someone I presume was not a guest because he had rudely asked "hey man can you give me five dollas"? When contacting the management and customer care about the situation they had denied it and offered little support. Upon checking out I had requested a cup of coffee for the road and the lady at the counter become snippy and said the kitchen was closed. I would steer clear from this hotel and this area of town if you are driving through the area… find a different place to stay for your sanity! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I stayed here for a few days for work. The rooms are quite dark and not much natural light gets in the room. One major issue I noticed was that when I came back to the room after being out the whole day, my toiletries were missing. Therefore the cleaning staff either took it with them or threw it away. I found this to be horrible since they were my own objects. In addition, when I tried to use the gym, half the machines were broken and not usable. The free weights only go up to 15lbs and they are hopelessly outdated and in horrendous condition. Hopefully they update their facility and make sure that the cleaning staff does not alter guest's personal property.

Poor security on the premises and rude treatment of guests. I will not go back to this property as panhandles frequent the breakfast area to try to get free meals. Hotel refuses to accept responsibility this by putting systems in place to prevent it.

Oh this place rocked. It was clean. It was easy to find and was centrally located. The staff were so kind and understanding. I'd stay here again in a heart beat.

Just there for one night. Good stay. The breakfast was good. I would stay there again when in town.

Very nice Hotel. Beds were comfy, our room was spacious we were in the family suite with 2 queens and a king. Breakfast was very good I liked the fresh fruit. The only thing I didn't like is the neighborhood is not the greatest. But our car wasn't broken into so would I stay here again yes.

Driving from Ohio to Colorado, my family and I decided this would be our overnight half-way point and we definitely picked the right place. The price was reasonable and the suit we reserved was fantastic. The whole hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff was extremely friendly despite our late check-in, and the complementary breakfast the next morning was hot and delicious with a pretty wide variety to choose from. I couldn't give it quite five stars because few small things. There were some shady characters hanging out in the parking lot, the elevators seemed a bit worn out, and the suit bedroom television turned on three times in the middle of the night all by itself (a bit creepy). All in all, I would stay here again.

Very clean rooms, and great staff! Breakfast is above and beyond! The shuttle service was very much appreciated to get us back and forth from the conference at century II! This is a great place to stay.

Pros: The room seemed nice and the complimentary breakfast was bigger than I expected. Cons: Very few power outlets for a modern traveler to use in the room. Bathroom had no exhaust fan, and the complimentary breakfast had a worker standing there taking attendance which makes you feel like you are being watched (because you are) the entire time you are eating.

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was amazing. The king size bed was nice but the room was smaller than expected.

Great place. The rooms was nice hard to find rooms for a family vacation but this place delivered. Beds were amazing hadn't slept that well in a hotel in a long time. Breakfast was good lots of fresh fruit eggs and sausage. Even made eggs to order for my father in law. Overall a great experience. Would stay here agsin if I was in the area.

Good rooms and service but the pool was closed and not indicated at booking that it was outdoors… The breakfast was pretty good as well.

I had Wyndham Rewards points that I had to use and we were happy to find a dog-friendly Wyndham Garden hotel in downtown Wichita. The front desk was very friendly upon our arrival. I had made some errors when booking my 2-day stay online but the front desk person had already corrected my errors when we checked-in. The room was smaller than the online photos showed. That's what a good wide angle lens will do for you. When we first entered the room it was unbearably hot. I went to the wall mounted AC Unit and lowered the temperature to 68. After a couple hours the room was still too hot so when I tried to turn on the AC to cool things down the unit displayed an error code on the console. I had to call housekeeping. They reset the unit but the error code returned just about as soon as the guy left. We soon discovered that the refrigerator was also not working so I had to call to housekeeping again. In this case it was a simple matter of a poor plug connection. The plug from the refrigerator was plugged into a 3-way power strip that was then plugged into the wall outlet. Shortly after that, the HDTV signal suddenly disappeared and a diagnostic error page was displayed on the HDTV. Another call to housekeeping to have that fixed. I was told that that because it was digital sometimes it just screws up. Good to know.

The stay was pretty nice — we had to find a place downtownish that would be close to Century II. Quiet at night and breakfast was pretty good. Bacon makes everything better. The only thing I didn't like was that the beds were short and not very comfy… Otherwise, nice place right by a QT.

The hotel did not have the ambiance you expect. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Front deck service was good but still lack many of the amenities other hotel chains offer. Not the same place I stayed two years ago.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and laid out well, and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is also in a convenient location close to downtown and directly across from a gas station. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but better than most hotel breakfasts I've had. Would definitely recommend.

Very helpful and polite staff. Breakfast was really good and is open until 11 am. That was nice even though we were up before 9. Would stay here again.

The service at the front desk is deplorable… not good…

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. On the morning following our stay my car would not start (we were driving thru to MN and we faced about 10 hours of driving) yet Joann (at reception) had two of her staff assist us and even drove me to a local auto shop to get help. Without their help we would not have gotten on the road till the next day. Can't say enough about the staff, from reception thru to maids and in the breakfast room. Great hotel and certainly one that we will stay in again.

I was there for a job interview. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean and felt inviting to me. I definitely would stay at this hotel.

Near several restaurants on walking distance, including a nice convience mart. Hotel is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable for the single overnight stay. Decent breakfast in morning. Hotel shuttle helped getting rental car back and to hotel. Very helpful front desk.

Stay far far away, terrible customer service… mgr. IS TERRIBLE AND SHOULD BE FIRED! If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would… my husband and I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel… On 8/3/17, I asked for my room to be cleaned by the lady at the front desk… four hours later after we returned, the room had not been cleaned… the lady said that we had our do not disturb sign on the door. I let her know that there was not a do not disturb sign on the door… and again she repeated that her staff said, that it was on the door… she took no responsibility for her staff not cleaning the room. Today again I asked for my room to be cleaned… the lady at the front desk (someone else) said what is it about and I said I want to speak to the mgr… and again she asked and I said it was not any of her concern and she smirked at me… and laughed. The mgr came and I told her 90 min later that my room had still not been cleaned and she smirked at me and laughed and said what do you want… it will eventually get cleaned… and I said I want it cleaned… when I asked the mgr to speak with her boss, she said she didn't have a boss and that she owned the hotel… and when I asked for the corporate number she said good luck and refused to give it to me… The staff at this hotel are just like the mgr… and have the worst customer service of any hotel I have ever stayed.

The hotel is located right off of the highway. It is an older building that once inside, you can start to notice its age. The staff was fast and friendly. The room were updated to include a flat screen TV, mini-fridge, and other updated decor. The bed was not the best as it was very saggy. The shower was clean and hot but fairly small. Overall, it was a good value but I will likely stay elsewhere during my next visit to Wichita.

I had incorrectly guessed that this would be a nice place to stay given the name of on the building, the Manager's Audi parked up front, and the proximity to downtown. I was wrong. This recently "renovated/purchased" property received a new sign, paint job, and carpet. Everything else appeared to have existed in the location for some time. The shower was mostly working, there were obvious signs of painted over water damage, and the pool was absolutely disgusting in appearance. On top of that, the beds were ancient to the point that the tag had very little in the appearance of any text, aside from any sort of comfort or support. Egg carton padding was used for comfort and the beds are quite short. I am just under 5'10" and my feet hung off the end the whole night. My back and head ached all night and the next day. Wyndham should be embarrassed by this property and take immediate action to correct their image. Despite it all, the ladies at the counter were pleasant to talk with during check-in/check-out and cleaning activities appeared to be in order.

We got a suite and the accommodations were great. We ended up needing extra key cards and towels and the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. They also provided a shuttle service to local destinations. I'd you get a chance, check this hotel out.

We did a bachelorette party here and they were excellent. Very friendly and helpful the shuttle service was excellent as well, and he even took us to get a late night snack at the nearest MC Donald's. The breakfast in the morning was superb. They deserve five stars all the way!

After being overcharged the rude front desk person, karen, was one of the rudest workers I encountered. Our room was not cleaned after the first night from room service. When I asked for the manager he did not bother to call me back. After a horrible night sleep, I went down to talk to the manager, Jesse. Of all the incompetent people in the world this guy is definitely their leader. Jesse offered to give us free dinner and breakfast. As I was there for my sister's memorial I passed on dinner. I went down about 950pm to grab a beer with my mother. I asked the waitress for some fries. When she brought them out I apologized for ordering at the last minute. Her response was "I am used to it. " This morning after being locked out of my room at 10am. (Checkout was 2pm per Jesse) my mother insisted on a full refund. I would not suggest this hotel to my worst enemy much less a stranger.

Rooms were great. Breakfast didn't start till 7:30 on Sat too late, for our activities. I've come to expect a complimentary breakfast as I travel so a) no free breakfast and b) late weekend start was a dissapointment.

The costumer service was good. As a hockey player. My friend and I ask if we could shower after we would have been checked and they let us check out four hours latter. And they helped us find a good restaurant to eat at that Saterday night. The stay was really nice and the weight room was open late at night so I could work out.

ThIs hotel is close to downtown but not exactly in downtown. $4-5 Uber to most places but not close enough we wanted to walk. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, good parking even with a big concert downtown one of the nights. Small room with an okay bed, hard to make very dark at night. I was out of the room until 1pm and it didn't get cleaned. Small things — all together I wasn't unsatisfied but probably won't stay again.

They need to fire the general manager. I booked 15 rooms, for a high school team. Gave them a credit card and signed a contract. They let my reservation go because 2 months after I was told everything was good to go, I did not provide an illegal list of the minors staying in the rooms. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn, Who despite "industry policy" have yet to ask me for a list of the names of the children I brought with me.

Great location, clean and comfortable room, perfect price. Arrived early, and while I was early for check-in, they weren't able to come up with a room for 4 hours.

We used hotels tonight app to get a room while we were at WSU eSports convention. When we got to hotel check-in was fast and easy. And there was a quick trip across the street. Very easy to find was also a plus.

Extremely friendly service along with a nice weight room and sauna. Although the lack of an indoor pool was quite a dissapointment.

Upon arrival, everything seemed to be perfect. The hotel staff seemed to be friendly enough. That is until the hotel bill showed up under neath the door the morning of checkout. The price was supposed to have been $70.00 per night with tax included. We've stayed 3 nights and received a bill of $439.00. Not saying that I am a mathematical genius, but i'm pretty sure that 3 times 70 does not equals 439! Unless you are filthy rich and can afford to be screwed over upside down and left and right, do not stay here. Run, I say! run 4 your lives!

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location with Old Town and the arena nearby. Only complaint would be the fitness center. Most of the equipment was not working/broken.

The staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall a great stay at a modest price.

Service was good. No hot tub. Elevators feel like they're going to fall apart. The bar never seems to be open.

This used to be a Holiday Inn, when I say the change I thought there goes my Flight 1800 dinner I like so much. But luckily the Flight Deck is still there and with the same old lady running the bar. And the rooms still have the cool old aviation posters with the fresh coat of paint on the walls. Looks like new carpet also. Nice refresh done here but kept enough of the old that I liked about this place.

Starting with Kathy at the front desk right down to the perky bartender this hotel exceeded our expectations every time that we turned around. I was walking through the hotel after check in checking out the accommodations with my ice bucket in hand. Some really lovely gentleman came out of the restaurant took my bucket and returned with it full of ice. He also asked what else he could do to help us! It is the customer service, everyone going above and beyond, the to order breakfast (that is included), Bath and Body Works essentials and very clean rooms that made this stay so very wonderful. We needed to book a hotel close to Via Christi Hospital because our family member had emergency surgery. I am so incredibly grateful to have found this oasis.
